    Are dirt devils worth the cheap price? I just got my first apartment and my Shark Apex motor went out and I'm looking for a cheaper replacement because moving is extremely expensive

      If you really need a cheap vacuum for your place, I'd highly recommend a Bissell Powerforce bagged over this.

      All my Dirt Devils have lasted years, you can't go wrong. Just make sure you get one with tools on board. I'll be honest with you, I'm going to buy the Dirt Devil Endura Max. It looks like it can get everywhere and does a great job from all the reviews I have seen. Plus, I love Dirt Devil vacuums, they work well and easy maintenance.

      _All my Dirt Devils have lasted years, you can't go wrong._ That's great yours have done well for you. But Dirt Devil was NEVER known to be a reliable brand, at least not anymore. They made many pretty good machines back when Royal created Dirt Devil, now the only Dirt Devils I'd ever buy would be their central vacs. There's nothing else I'd personally care for including this Endura Express upright. _Just make sure you get one with tools on board._ All current Dirt Devil uprights have on-board attachments. _I'll be honest with you, I'm going to buy the Dirt Devil Endura Max. It looks like it can get everywhere and does a great job from all the reviews I have seen._ Not true. They can't reach underneath alot of beds, awkward to maneuver around tables and chairs, brushroll doesn't shut off, etc. Basically anything that their central vacs addresses. _Plus, I love Dirt Devil vacuums, they work well and easy maintenance._ I'd definitely recommend you should check out their central vacs. They're the only Dirt Devils left that are still made in the USA, they have a lifetime warranty on everything, they're the most powerful Dirt Devils ever made, they're the easiest to maintain, etc.

    I don’t like that the beater bar brush keeps spinning when using the hose and attachments. Am I doing something wrong? How do you keep the brush from spinning when using hand held tools?

      @panasonicvac4036  Год назад

      Nope, that's the way they're designed. Ideally you can take the belt off but what I'd do instead is to tilt the vacuum so the brushroll doesn't hit the carpet.

    How do we adjust the height bc my carpet is really low and it’s getting sucked up when I try to vacuum.

      There's no height adjuster, it's automatic.

    Vintage Dirt Devils are better right?

      @panasonicvac4036  Год назад +1

      Eh that depends. Some newer Dirt Devils are better but some aren't like they used to make.

      I will NEVER buy a cheap vacuum from ANY department store period the end. If this place were to get a new vacuum, I would talk my uncle into buying a professional grade machine from a vacuum store or even online like thinkvacuums.com since they're located in Florida as well. Actually, I would talk my uncle into installing a central vac for this place because it would be an EASY install and his other house in Oregon has a central vac that he really likes.

      The WW is an excellent power nozzle, no doubt. However, this house has low enough carpet piles that either a Sebo or a Lindhaus would be a fine choice which is what I'd prefer anyways.

    This was a terrible review. I wanted to see you test picking up fine or bulky things on the carpet, how to empty the cup and maintenance plus using the tools. Really, you couldn't have made a worse review video.

      Where did you get the idea that this was a "review" video? In the title? The description? Or did you catch that I said it was a "review"? I never said it was, there are PLENTY of other videos here that do. Unfortunately RUclips isn't a place for people to post only reviews or do whatever the hell you wanted to look for in your favor. We're free to do anything we want to show and how to show them as long as they don't break the rules so welcome to the world of disappointment in some places. Also, clearly you're a person that'd rather skip reading the instructions from the manual. It has all the other answers you're looking for.
