Good video. What is the problem with the electrical outlets in the rooms?

Thanks! Electrical in the rooms is fine. Use at your own risk outside during the rain. I was trying to edit the video up at the Ruf Bar during a bit of rain... No GFIs.⚡
The lighting in the rooms is a bit too dim for my liking but still fine.

@@howardgarrett7865 if I ever get my butt to Ocean Maya Royal I'll tell you how they compare 🙂 but price point for Ventus Ha' is hard to beat.
We just did a Sunwing Vacation package out of YYZ for a week at $1250 pp.
WestJet also packages El Cid resorts. Air Canada does not.

I’m thinking of going here in January. Is the construction right next to Ventus Ha? How was the noise?

    • @newtravelescapes
      @newtravelescapes  Месяц назад +2

@@slhey4308 yes, it is an additional building that will basically double the size of Ha'.
Our room was on the third floor in the building nearest the construction and we didn't find it too bad.
If you look at the walk through video when we are up at Ruf, you can see the new building going up.
If you request the building with Ruf on the top floor and you will be furthest away from the construction.
      Hope that helps! 🙂

Hi Nancy, another great video! Have you decided where to stay in Jamaica? I once stayed at the Grand Palladium, and it was a huge resort. take care.

@@davidng407 Thanks David! We did decide actually. We are trying the 3 Iberostar Rose Hall resorts. Grand/Joia, Selection Rose Hall, & Rose Hall Beach.
I enjoyed the Iberostar resorts in Riviera Maya so I'm hoping these are as nice.
      Enjoy your weekend! 😊

@@davidng407 How was the Grand Palladium? I really like TRS Coral in Costa Mujeres but I found the attached Grand Palladium really big too. A 10 minute walk just to get to beach vball was too big for me. Lol!

@@newtravelescapes Every time I think about Iberostar, their ear worm song plays in my head! I stayed in the Iberostar Bavaro in the DR, and the Iberostar Toucan in Riviera Maya. They are medium size resorts, so they are manageable when it comes to getting around. We flew Caribbean airlines to Jamaica because they they had a 7:00pm flight back to JFK. It was so nice to have those extra few hours on the last day! I can't wait to see your video from Jamaica! Have a great time!

@@newtravelescapes Overall, I had a good time at the Grand Palladium. It was about a 45 min. bus ride from the airport. It was like 3 or 4 resort in this huge complex. There wasn't much of a beach. The room was a good size. You don't have to make reservations for dinner. The spa was huge!! There are too many resorts out there to try, so there is really no reason to go back.

@@davidng407 That's true! There are a lot of great resorts to spend money at so if the experience isn't amazing why not try a different one? 😜
