Love my Izzo, got a core 2 about a year and a half ago, and upgraded as things stopped working right, first to go was the nx drive train, got a GX drivetrain on sale, and put 165 mm cranks on. I also put a 140mm lyrik on, I'm 220 lbs and the fox 34 was a pool noodle. The next upgrade will be the Ohlins rear suspension, the fox float is a bit chattery in tech descents. Overall though it's the best bike I've ever had.
it's an insane spec for the money like you said, been eyeing it all month. I do feel their attention to detail could be better on the frame. wish the BB was threaded, could have way more mounting points for bottles and accessories. it's easily the nicest spec for the price though, 4100 on sale is insane, the spec is actually fully ready to go
@@RydenDirty yeah it's tough to fault the bike and build so it's mostly just nits. i have a transition spur and it has a bunch of bottle cage mount points, two on the down tube, and one top tube, so I have two cages on the down tube and an RMU pint bag on the top tube, so I don't have to carry a hip bag with me. i'd say that and the BB are shortcomings of the izzo frame, but the spur has a bunch of other complaints (mild build, sidluxe shock isn't that great, paint chips very easily) which are probably more noticeable. well, thanks for posting the vid! was well produced and i've been looking for content on the uncaged 11, I think this is one of the few videos on it. i'm kind of hoping they do an uncaged 12 soon too to have more options
Unless I’m mistaken, u did all that upgrading & left SRAM brakes on it 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️…good vid & good parts selection other than the brakes (btw, u mite love them SRAM’s so take my with a grain of salt)
Actually I’m not a huge fan of the sram brakes. But the G2’s aren’t as bad as other sram brakes. And if you bleed them with a syringe they feel way better. Eliminates a lot of the modulation👌
That’s awesome man. To be honest I ride my Jeffsy more than my Izzy these days. The Jeffsy can’t climb as good as the Izzo but it can take a better beating lol
I got the Izzo Core 3 and put CF wheels on it. It is now a 27.5 lbs bike (no pedals). It is such a smooth, nice ride.
Hell ya the Izzo is such a beast. 27.5 is badass. I need to ride mine more often. I’ve been riding my jeffsey.
Loved watching you slap that thing down Hiline in Sedona while we're all over here on longer travel bikes. Beast 🎉
Hell ya carnal that shit was a little too spicy at times hahahaha

It’s funny you say that cause the bottom bracket would be my only complaint on YT bikes. Would really prefer threaded.

I have to agree… I’ve been on the Izzo uncaged 11 for a few months now and it gets better every ride.
Hell ya bro 🤘🤘🤘
Now I want an Izzo! Great video my dude 🤙
Bro go get one. I want a jeffsey
ima gonna be biking in sedona next weekend and i wish there was a spot that rented the izzo, i wanna get one and would love to try it out first
Ya i wish YT was out in az as well. The YT mil is always renting them out for people to try. It truly is a killer trail bike.
Imagine buying a Santa Cruz Nomad for £9499 ! And then someone passes you on a climb on the £4200 Izzo 😂!
So good! That's all I got. You're just on another level! Oh and the bike looks amazing! HA!
Thanks my brother. How about that fx3
great recap Erik. YT for the win.
Thanks bro. But now a jeffsey
Sick video amigo from Central Ameri Kuh
Hell ya dawggy. When you coming back?!?
@@RydenDirty flying to Denver tomorrow. The. I’ll have to wait a wk and then drive back.
What about the hubs, I've heard that the standard crankbrothers hubs are not top
I’m not sure about the carbon wheels, the alloy wheels have terrible engagement
Sick video. I need to jump on one and check it out after watching this video.
Yes you do
I like your bike better bro, BUT I’ve always loved upgrading my bikes to make a 1 of a kind custom build.
Thanks Jarred!! I’m like you I like making my bikes one of a kind. Personal touches are what makes it your bike. Your polygon is pretty rad!!
Great quality vid
Yoooo thanks 🙏
I like that build!
Thanks Kenny!!!!
Rock on!
Thanks my dude
What size jeffsy should I get? I’m 5’6 29 inch inseam, and shorter arms.
Definitely a medium. Youre the same size as me, you could get a shorter stem.
@@RydenDirty sorry I meant izzo but does medium still apply?
@@HEAMTB yes sir 👍

Yeah just purchased the Izzo core1 but probably going to cancel it. I'd rather have the adjustments there than not oh well I got June 18 to cancel

I’m in flagstaff homie. Let’s link up and ride
Let’s do it bro🤘🤘🤘🤘
This is Not a Review its a product Placement 😂
I wish it was my dude. I could use some dollars 🤣🤣🤣
