    I got the Izzo Core 3 and put CF wheels on it. It is now a 27.5 lbs bike (no pedals). It is such a smooth, nice ride.

      Hell ya the Izzo is such a beast. 27.5 is badass. I need to ride mine more often. I’ve been riding my jeffsey.

    it's an insane spec for the money like you said, been eyeing it all month. I do feel their attention to detail could be better on the frame. wish the BB was threaded, could have way more mounting points for bottles and accessories. it's easily the nicest spec for the price though, 4100 on sale is insane, the spec is actually fully ready to go

    • @RydenDirty
      @RydenDirty  10 месяцев назад

      It’s funny you say that cause the bottom bracket would be my only complaint on YT bikes. Would really prefer threaded.

      @@RydenDirty yeah it's tough to fault the bike and build so it's mostly just nits. i have a transition spur and it has a bunch of bottle cage mount points, two on the down tube, and one top tube, so I have two cages on the down tube and an RMU pint bag on the top tube, so I don't have to carry a hip bag with me. i'd say that and the BB are shortcomings of the izzo frame, but the spur has a bunch of other complaints (mild build, sidluxe shock isn't that great, paint chips very easily) which are probably more noticeable. well, thanks for posting the vid! was well produced and i've been looking for content on the uncaged 11, I think this is one of the few videos on it. i'm kind of hoping they do an uncaged 12 soon too to have more options

    Love my Izzo, got a core 2 about a year and a half ago, and upgraded as things stopped working right, first to go was the nx drive train, got a GX drivetrain on sale, and put 165 mm cranks on. I also put a 140mm lyrik on, I'm 220 lbs and the fox 34 was a pool noodle. The next upgrade will be the Ohlins rear suspension, the fox float is a bit chattery in tech descents. Overall though it's the best bike I've ever had.

    Unless I’m mistaken, u did all that upgrading & left SRAM brakes on it 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️…good vid & good parts selection other than the brakes (btw, u mite love them SRAM’s so take my with a grain of salt)

    • @RydenDirty
      @RydenDirty  10 месяцев назад +1

      Actually I’m not a huge fan of the sram brakes. But the G2’s aren’t as bad as other sram brakes. And if you bleed them with a syringe they feel way better. Eliminates a lot of the modulation👌
