That healing chart at 7:44 just reminds me how close Blemishine is to being very good. Imagine a world where her skill 3 actually heals herself. That self exclusion and the fact that it charges defensively is such a wonky combination to use.
For Blemishine her talent does changed it to both offense and defensive charge though. But yeah, if she could have healed herself, it would have been great. :x
Blemishine is insanely good, though, people just try to use her like they use other healing defenders and that doesn't work well. Learn how to use her, and she becomes almost as strong as the most meta operators you can get.
It's so unfortunate. Blemishine S3 would easily be top tier, a sidegrade to S1M3 or S2M3 Saria, if her S3 healed herself. Most defenders are already underpowered in this game. I don't know why they had to gimp Blemishine in that way.
POV: We are Eyjafjalla (Because we can't hear a thing) Edit: Well the sound is back. Idk what happened back there. But anyways, Ptilopsis is such a good AOE medic. I say it's worth to invest her. Peace out, everyone.
I got into making themed squads and my current one is “Hot Dog” squad using fire or canine related ops. I’m not done building all of them but now I wanna make a Rhine Labs squad and see how many stages I can clear with just them since I have ifrit and saria built xD
I have e2 Shining and Nightingale, but I use Ptilopsis more than them when it comes to healing. And yes that SP boost helped a lot, especially when I bring Passenger or Chalter, etc
I've also never given Ptilopsis any masteries despite having her since I started the game. There's no need for it. I've never been in a situation that her S2 at rank 7 can't outheal.
You also chip away with better initial SP and longer skill durations with masteries. Might not be worth the investment, but if you can afford it, why not?
I checked my audio settings and headphones ~three times before I realized there was simply no sound to be had. Edit: The issue has since resolved itself. I guess YT couldn't handle Ptilo's computing power. Cheers!
hmmm, possible to sneak in a minute or two on the base/infrastructure skills on future operator videos? Like I've seen many review videos that sleep on it.

Thanks for stating the fact about the global SP recovery not working with others like Suzuran and Mostima! I didn't know that. I just thought they're talents would still work with Ptilopsis because it says they recover the SP for the certain class they're in.
I have e1 breeze when I got ptilopsis and I wonder what makes it different from each other. They're multi-target medic while ptilopsis second skill heal faster and breeze second skill heals more. They also have the same spaces. For now I still use breeze while ptilopsis sitting there as a collection. But I was thinking if I should use ptilopsis instead just to match with my silence.
13:21 "If you want to poo for her, I would say she's a pretty good poo..." Followed by: "IN CONCLUSION: SHE IS A SOLID INVESTMENT." I need to go poo now.
I have ptilopsis s2m3 max level with module and let me tell u shes the best healer out there. As long as the enemy doesnt one shot ur operators, with her skill on ur operators in her range basically can never die. Not even sussurro’s deep healing can compare to hers as she has much more rapid healing, which mean more stable and less heals being wasted when up against high attack speed and atk damage enemies
Kukki : ptilopsis has one of the highest heal per second Also Kukki : ptilopsis, you can't heal for sh1t PS : this hapened when he was handholding accounts in cc
Well, yeah, both are true. He could have touched more on the problems with Ptilopsis, and that is her massive downtime during which she is by far the weakest AoE medic. Basically, you pay for the SP reg and her strong skill with a very long downtime during which you have the lowest heal per second of any healer.
@@enjel1147 NG has dolls though, plus she already has her S2, low cooldown, stackable, shield granting, so yeah, NG is better but that's a given as she's a 6*, Ptilopsis on the other hand has 2 similar skills, by similar I mean that you'd use the skill in the same situation more or less, you can't just compare her to NG who has 2 skills that were designed for different purposes, so yeah
There's a reason why medic class, in general, hasn't been touched by HG, I mean most, if not all, of the new medics were of a new subclass, like Mulberry or Kal'tsit, the only new AoE medic that was introduced was Breeze, and that was a long time ago, also those new archetypes offers much more utility according to how the game progressed, Mulberry doesn't only heal you but also recovers elemental damage in response to the more frequent appearance of enemies that could inflict elemental damage, also they appear in the story chapter so, Whisperain was introduced in an event where your operators got stunned like it was just a normal Tuesday, so basically the old medic who could only offer heal ain't much needed in the endgame, you're more encouraged to deal more damage, I mean that's basically what Whisperain and Mulberry is trying to achieve, by lowering the time your operators get cc'd or avoiding getting it in the first place, well in Chapter 9 case, Mulberry offers survivability, I mean come on, getting blasted with arts damage while having your res reduced ain't fun for anyone
@Derrick Cheow Perfumer heals more people, and people seem to forget that operators have more than one skill. If you want to get the most out of her passive her skill 2 is better, but if you want to just push out healing in her range her skill 1 is one of the most overlooked, because it still makes her passive heal more, doesn't have the reduced attack speed and very high uptime. So, yeah, Perfumer heals way more outside of Ptilopsis skill 2 duration, which is most of the time. Also, just as a sidenote, Perfumers module makes her even stronger in the aspect that she already excelled at.
I still think Ptilopsis is overhyped. That doesn't mean that Ptilopsis is bad, I think all AoE medics are insanely good at what they do and there isn't one that is stronger than the others. Perfumer is the best for very high consistent healing of mass targets (especially with her module), Nightingale has no comparison when it comes to arts and utility (those cages are broken) and the only one that may fall a little behind is Breeze, but also not really because her skill 1 basically transforms her to a middle ground between single target and multi target healer with very high uptime.
She deserves all the hype. If you don't need insane arts damage mitigation and just have to bring a medic anyway for whatever reason, ptilopsis or warfarin are the way to go.... Period. Ptilopsis makes almost everything faster, those seconds she saves are the difference between a victory and a loss.
I wouldn't say overhyped but I definitely agree with all the AoE Medics being good at their respective job. Leveled Breeze over Ptilopsis and Breeze's skill 2 has gotten me through some tight spots. Would Ptilopsis of worked better in those situations? Possibly or maybe not, I wouldn't know. This is just a puzzle with multiple solutions argument.
@@rylewcrc8279 I think most of the hype is a self-fulfilling prophecy. Ptilopsis is often recommended to players as the best AoE Medic, so people level her, find her strong, and never even experience the other AoE Medics because all do their job well, so you only need one. In the end those people keep recommending Ptilopsis because it worked for them, not even considering that other AoE Medics could have also worked. In the end they all work equally well, with slightly different strengths, but people are so set in their choice being the right one that it just spirals into Ptilopsis is better.
Note that Ptilopsis’ talent works on everyone, it’s global, and independent of her range!
