You can find better prices than Amazon offers on many things if you shop a little. It took me 2 minutes to find sandbags, qty 15k, for almost $900 LESS and still with free delivery. If it's not your money you're spending, the one-click convenience of Amazon is fine. If it is, use their prices as a guide while you keep looking for a better deal. For me, I'll keep the Amazon product page open while I open another few tabs to compare other vendors.
There is also the BINS stores that buy pallets of Amazon returns and break tghem down and sell them . This is a great way to get preps . They start of on the first day being around $10 for any item and then go down in price through the week . . Ive bought solar motion detectors , solar lights , Lion 12v batteries, long range driveway alerts , Ear protection , Invertors , Security systems , Fireplace fans , Baofengs , LED camping lanterns , Heated gloves , socks , vests and jacket ,. Small 5 volt solar panels for recharging USB power banks , etc , etc
I have two of these BIN stores in my area and can confirm they are great for prepping. Lots of looking and shuffling through BS but there's plenty of great inexpensive finds. I've found many great 100+ dollar items for more than 90% discount, and loads of smaller useful preps on the cheap.
I could never afford a pallet of anything and dont have the room even if i did, but for some reason this is making me laugh like a little girl. Idk why. Lol. Happy mother's day y'all.
You can also go to liquidation auctions and buy random return pallets to hoard. Sell off the valuables, garage sell the regulars and recycle the odd stuff. With some skill you can trade your way up there to afford prep pallets. At time of posting, there was a pallet of 28 monitors and tvs from Walmart closing on the half hour for 743. One if the monitors itself retails for 120. The cavidat is that all of them are untested returns. That prices averages per item as 27 bucks before taxes and shiping. For the ones that don't work, take it apart, harvest the boards
If you have a secure warehouse-type building to store them in and IF Mad Max World ever happens. That's TWO too many "ifs" for me! Floor space is at a premium for me, even shelving units aren't enough to keep all my poop in a pile that won't collapse from a side-eye! I envy those commercial-grade shelving units that can hold entire pallets at the warehouse stores - and the room they require!
Great video on buying bulk on Amazon. These is ideal for the ones how don’t do there own preps. MREs for example, I ate them, they will make a turd. I rather buy a freeze dryer and preserve my leftovers. Do it daily at these point, saves me money and not wasting food. Buying gardening soil, $1600 plus tax is a lot of supplies. Get a dump bed for that price, go to your local garage dump, most of them have a compost bin, make from dirt, food, wood doesn’t matter as long as it good compost. Just a thought, still great video but money and buy stuff instead of learning a skill is worthless when things go south really fast. Stay prepared, stay in touch and let the father help you in your journey in life
For the money, you would be a lot better off buying a large water tank (or two, one for untreated rain water) unless you're planning on moving hundreds or thousands of gallons of water after SHTF!
@@rogerjensen5277 I was more thinking about those stackable 5 or 7 gallon cube containers. With a big tank it's not going anywhere, although a big tank has benefits along with negatives.
Wow, $1500 for 60 x 2 cubic foot bags of garden soil is crazy expensive. Go to Home Depot or Lowes and have them load them into your car for free and save hundreds of dollars.
The mount has it built in so you're stacking less tolerances compared to adding a rail and then a mount. Unless you have to add the rail anyway like on a bolt action. Then I doubt it matters either way.
Are pallets of white vinegar also available? That's a very useful & versatile supply to stockpile. Good for cleaning & disinfecting, canning/cooking, etc.
1,872 bottles of water for $755.00 is over .40 cents per bottle of water. Doesn’t seem like a good deal to me. Seems like I could make better use of my money..
That pallet of soil sounds really overpriced. My local Ace Hardware has 40lb bags of soil for $5 a piece. That means i can get 60 of them for $300 vs the $1500 Amazon is charging.
I've come off the MRE bandwagon. I much prefer Mountain House, or Peak Refuel. And the price is comparable, when you find them on sale. I had a couple cases of MREs. Tried them all before they expired. The best part was the pound cake, imo. The entrees are bland, to sub par, and not at all comparable to Mountain House.
MRE's aren't prepper food. They're horrible and too expensive. Good to have a couple in a go bag perhaps for those that don't want to work a little putting something better together. You can do much better with less shekles and a little thinking.
