Even if the whole rock concept isn’t quite your thing, their b-sides are pretty versatile, so if you decide to explore their b-sides well you’ll see them go into different genres of music which is really cool
Thank you for giving Dreamcather a chance! They are SO talented! I was at their concert a few weeks ago and yes, Vision does give big final boss vibes! Especially at the end, everyone in the audience raised the V with them and it was unreal. Super unifying for InSomnia. I hope you'll dig deeper since their songs hit so many genres! If you like hype music, try Into the Frozen or Silent Night. If you want something poppy, Starlight is top tier. If you rant something a little different, maybe give Jazz Bar a listen.
Welcome to the Dreamworld! Dreamcatcher are very unique. They are the dark angels of Kpop and the only girl group who consistently incorporate Rock and Metal in their title tracks, fusing that with Kpop into something that basically is a new genre. They also are drenched in horror and social criticism, which again is special. Plus, they are massively talented, all of them. And while the girls look like they could rip out your spine when they are on stage, off stage they are adorable crackheads. 😉 "Piri" is the last part of the 6-MV Nightmare Arc (their Japanese release "Breaking out" can be seen as an alternative ending). In "What", the girls have been searching for Yoohyeon, and here they find each other again, but in the end they are all stuck in the white dimension. A Piri is a Korean flute that was used historically to signal danger, and that is what Yoohyeon does here when the members arrive. She is the one capturing them one by one, to rescue them and bring them to safety. They are together in the end, but still stuck. Dreamcatcher don't do happy endings. 😉 Odd Eye is part 3 of the Dystopia trilogy, which is about cyber-bullying, hateful comments and people losing themselves in the (fake) online world. People can get lost in the world of the Internet and social media and their online personas can take over their life. Dreamcatcher want us to use our odd eye to see through the lies (on Facebook and others) and don't be fooled by the "lies masked in sweetness". "Vision" is part 2 of the Apocalypse trilogy. I believe they are showing us the perspective from the future in this series, showing us how the earth looks like when we keep acting like we do. While "Maison" was talking about the destruction of the environment, here they seem to be talking about the destruction due to war. I don't know if that was the idea from the beginning, but Putin's aggression definitely played a role here. In one set they even dance in front of what looks sort of like a huge trident, which is the coat of arms of Ukraine (could be a coincidence though, or this is me seeing things). It could be about North Korea as well after all. It is easy to see how the conflict in Ukraine could result in global destruction. It's just a push of a button away. Note that Dami presses a launch button, but it's not for nukes. It's for spreading their message, their vision. Peace. To be heard all around the world. The song is also a call for action, to stand together against aggressors and those who are destroying the planet out of greed. There is not much difference between someone leading an army or a corporation, if the result is destruction. Still, Dami said the intention is to resolve the problems in a peaceful way. So, what do we do? There is no easy answer. Dami has an outfit that shows that perfectly. One half is an innocent bridal dress, the other half is simply badass. What I know is that any aggressor only listens to very limited diplomacy, and they need to know that the good in the world is ready and willing to fight them if needed. Whoever the aggressor is, we are more than them. They need to know they will never succeed, the only option is peace. By the way, my interpretation could be completely wrong, any other theory is perfectly valid as well. Musically, it's heavier than Maison, and I feel it fits the subject matter very well. It sounds aggressive and heavy, but also soft and vulnerable. There is the duality again. And I love the fake keychange at the end of the chorus, the crazy bass and the guitar in the bridge. All in all this is a fantastic release!
They really thought out their storyline and it’s so meaningful! Wish more groups would do this but they really don’t get the support they need! Love this tho thanks 🙏🏾
With regards to the story arcs in dreamcatcher’s MV’s, you happened to have reacted to the last/latest of all 3 story arcs. Piri was the last entry in their nightmare series (there is an alternate Japanese ending though), Odd eye was the 3rd and last entry in their Dystopia trilogy, while vision is the latest in their ongoing Apocalypse trilogy (the 3rd song will be coming out next month in May).
Vision is 2nd part of the Apocalypse trilogy (to be concluded with the next comeback in May). The trilogy has a strong environmental message and both Vision and its predecessor, Maison make extensive use of CGI sets to minimize environmental waste. The conclusion will likely continue this theme.
Thank you so much for your reaction to my girls, and yes, all of their songs has storyline in it, and those 3 song came from different storyline. Piri was the last part from their Nightmare's Era which is thier first storyline and it separated to 6 songs plus 1 song for their alternated ending which came in their first Japanese debut. The main story in this era was about Dreamcather being trapped in dream world and finding how to escape and comeback to reality, but in the end they still trapped. Odd Eye also the last part of their next storyline called Dystopia Trilogy, the main theme of this era was about cyberbullying and each comeback represents Hear no Evil, Speak no Evil, and See no Evil. Here, Dreamcather became guardian goddesses whos protect The Tree of Language, sacred tree that containing every good things in the world, but since the evil spreading all over the world, both Tree of Language and Dreamcather became corrupted by evil, and their leader trying to saving Tree of Language but in the end they failed cause they already live in dystopia and never find their utopia. Last but not least, Vision was the second part of their recent story called Apocalypse Trilogy, the main theme was last judgement but main concerns was about global warming, here, again they was guardian goddesses of the world whos protecting world from apocalypse, they trying to spreading messages about our home was dying and only us can help it. And the reason why they use CGI on this MV (Apocalypse's Era) was to prevent any unnecessary waste or garbage from set and property especially from material that can't be easily to degradable by nature.
@@Nanita they have the hard one. Where the hardest are from japanese song ie. Endless night and No More. While, for korean song, the debut song such as Chase me and Good Night.
Based on the lyrics, Vision is presumedly talks about how war destroys the environment, so there is no way they can create post-apocayptic world without the use of cgi. I understand not liking cgi though, just providing some context 🙂
I felt the need to elaborate on your CGI Comment, I agree for Maison, the song before Vision, and Vision itself, the CGI is questionable at best sometimes. But this was due to the fact that their current story line across their "Apocalypse Story" is focused on being for the environment. "Maison" which means 'Home' in reference to the Earth, was about saying "Save Us, Save Our Home". "Vision" was ment to follow up and show the world what the earth will look like if we don't protect it "I'll give you Vision". And as of now(July 12), "Bon Voyage" is the latest installment to the Apocalypse Storyline, giving some insite that we can do better and the world can look a lot better than what we're doing with. For these specific Releases, the company decided to use HEAVY CGI as to not waste a lot of Product by building a ton of set as an effort to protect the environment in some way. Maison showed us the world needs protecting, Vision showed us what could happen if we aren't careful, and Bon Voyage shows our options. The main set/setting for the MV of Bon Voyage is a REALLY commonly used set amoung Kpop Companies they reused instead of making more waste to make something new. However Im not quite aware if the Apocalypse story is a Trilogy like Dystopia or if it's a much longer Story like Nightmare. But I really felt as if I should've said something regarding the CGI Comment. I won't disagree as to the ammount being odd at best, but For the reasons behind it, I personally think a little too much CGI isn't horrible.
Honestly for me it isn’t that big of a dealer I just sometimes think it’s a bit much but It doesn’t make me hate the song if you know what I mean. I appreciate their work regardless
This is your first video I watched.. and first of all, thank you for checking out Dreamcatcher. They're super talented as you can see 😊 I'd love to see more. P.S you are really pretty
For those who isn't into a rock/metal sound, usually don't give a slightly chance just to hear Dreamcatcher's discography, just because they don't want to hear some intense music... But, I can tell that they are already missed a great group that full of talents... And as you already said in your reaction, Dreamcatcher's songs is NOT a rock/metal songs, but still a pop (Kpop) with some influence of rock/metal in their title tracks... As their B-sides, there are plenty genre in the lists, from pop, ballad, edm, city pop, jazz, reggae, and many more... I'm glad that you spend your time to at least try to listen to Dreamcatcher, I hope that this won't be the last from you... Great reaction from you, keep the good work... Stay safe, keep healthy, and have great days
They were known as a group called "MINX" and it was composed of 5 members : Jiu, Dami, Yoohyeon, SuA and Siyeon. The concept was bubbly (I like bubbly concept). MINX debuted in 2014 with 'Why Did You Come To My Home?' [MV]. But they rebranded it to "Dreamcatcher" and debuted as a 7 member group : Jiu (Leader), Yoohyeon, Dami, Handong (She wasn’t a MINX member), Gahyeon (Maknae) (She wasn’t a MINX member), Siyeon and SuA. Dreamcatcher has been known for their dark concept (I like dark concept too). Dreamcatcher debuted in 2017 with 'Chase Me' MV.
I love your honesty and your voice! It's so relaxing! You made a good point- there's always some intense moment in a dreamcatcher song and there are some very soft ones too, truly like a rollercoaster. Reacts more and explore their other stuff. These girls got amazing b-sides, title tracks and covers!
So happy you decided to check out Dreamcatcher! Thank you! ^_^ I'd like to recommend some bsides that show off their other colors that you may enjoy. These all have dance videos or special clips that you can watch: Wonderland Sleep-walking July 7th Black or White (this dance video is on Dingo music) Red Sun Hopefully Insomnia haven't overwhelmed you with our enthusiasm, we just really love our Dreamies! 😅
There's a tradition in Dreamcatcher. They put the more intense songs as title songs and then they have equally amazing b-sides, in so many different genres. Also you should watch the title songs Deja Vu, Scream, Boca, BEcause and Maison. Then watch Jazz Bar, Black or White, Fairytale, Reason, 4Memory, New Days, Locked Inside A Door, Poison Love, and Whistle. Then you'll begin to understand that musically, Dreamcatcher are one of the best groups in the World today. And their vocals, choreo, and rapping, are insane.
I know this comment is late. But i would like to comment seeing this video seem to have no follow up Dreamcatcher reaction yet. They're having a comeback tomorrow! Welcome to Dreamworld! Thank you for your reaction! 💗☺️ Dreamcatcher (DC/Deukae) is an unique 7 member girl group. They're a K-pop group known to incorporate pop & other genres and blending with rock/metal/synth instrumentals within *ALL* their *TITLE TRACKS*. Thus creating an unique signature blend of genre known only to Dreamcatcher. They're also known as the Concept Queens and having Powerful live performances, usually with dark/horror/creepy concept themes MVs. Their title tracks MVs have always been story based, connecting one song to another. **This is only for their TITLE TRACKS.** They've had concerts and live performances with live bands, which, to me, has the best versions, which many InSomnias can agree that. On a flipside, their B-SIDES hold a *HUGE* variety of genres and experimental fusion creativity. It's like a different world of Dreamcatcher. Ballads, EDM, jazz, funk, reggae, hard metal/rock, just to name some. Their B-side tracks is where they flex their vocals & versatility which seems infinite, as they continue to surprise us everytime they comeback with new songs. The members also showed their creativity by taking part and getting credited for the composing, writing, choreographies for some of their songs too. They have also done numerous vocal/dance covers, adding their own twist to the songs, making it their own. And all 7 of them wrote, composed and produced their own solo songs & included them in the Apocalypse:Save Us full Album. *COMPANY* : Dreamcatcher Company (DCC) (Formerly known as Happyface Entertainment) *DEBUT* : January 13, 2017 *FANDOM NAME* : InSomnia {In Dreams(Latin)} -Formed in 2018, here's a short DC video, officially introducing the fandom name: ruclips.net/video/2KXFvi6r3EY/видео.html *MEMBERS* : JiU ('94) (Vocalist, Lead dancer) SuA ('94) (Main dancer, Vocalist, Rapper) Siyeon ('95) (Main Vocalist) Handong ('96) (Vocalist) Yoohyeon ('97) (Lead Vocalist) Dami ('97) (Main Rapper, Lead dancer, Vocalist) Gahyeon ('99) (Vocalist, Lead Rapper) *MAIN COMPOSERS* : Ollounder, Leez *MAIN CHOREOGRAPHER* : Hwang Sooyeon (Participated in Season 1 Produce 101) *No. of Albums/EPs/Singles* : 15 (Kor) 6 (Jap) RUclips Channel : ruclips.net/user/Dreamcatcherofficial ruclips.net/user/happyfaceent ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ There are currently 3 storylines: Note* Storylines are for their title tracks only: *NIGHTMARE* Series - DC are cursed by a spider who was killed by one of them & became 7 Nightmares personifications, after which they try to escape (knowing the Dreamcatcher lore as a start would be good) *DYSTOPIA* Trilogy - About social/online bullying/toxicity...DC are guardian spirits of The Tree of Language who were awoken by the world's social/online toxicity, by which they retaliate and seek to achieve Utopia. *Apocalypse* Trilogy - The end of times with Chaos & Carnage in the Dusk. OMG this comment was held for review and I didn’t know 😭 I’m so sorry. There will definitely be more coming. I’m in the middle of exams so it’s been hectic. Even tho I’m really late thank you for this 😊
I LOVE Dreamcatcher. ODD EYE is the last of the Utopia Discography Trilogy. :) Scream and Boca are the first 2. Some other great single hits, imo, are De Ja Vu, Maison, and Because. These ladies are SO great. They will pick up in the west once they get noticed. True poets.
Vision is the second part of the Apocalypse trilogy. Maison is the first part and the third part is coming in May. The trilogy is about climate change and Dreamcatcher are doing their part by reducing the amount of sets they build for their MV's and replacing them with CGI. Sets are very wasteful of energy and materials, especially since they are single use and get discarded after the shoot. That's why there's more CGI in their newer MV's.
Thx to do a reaction for my recommandation for PIXY and dreamcatcher i really appreciat in piri dami have a incredible visual (the girl with short haire)
@@Nanita for a partie 2 of dreamcatcher reaction i give you a perfect combo of : Déjà vu Fly High And Red Sun special clip ( you gonna be in love with dami with her voice and dance really sexy )
@Nanita Njoki they are criminally underrated 💔 but they are so talented as well ! Even tho few months ago they lost two members the main vocalist ella and satbyeol the lead rapper they left the group but a new member joined shes rinji and he first comeback with them is karma !
Can you react to Fifty Fifty- Cupid and Higher, they are the fastest rookie in 4th gen to get into Billboard and trending with Cupid? They have so powerful vocals and talent, their CEO reveals that he sold his car to invest in the group and he didn’t expect the group to get in Billboards😢.
(for the viewers) I'm a long time Dreamcatcher stan, I hear a lot of people suggest Pixie. Is there a particular set of Pixie songs I should listen to?
You hardly even go through their best title tracks yet. Also wait till you discover their B-sides xD Their B-sides have the best songs! Wind Blows, Black or White, Sahara, Break the Wall, Starlight etc are some of their legendary songs. So don't just plan to listen to other groups already. You haven't even dig deep into them yet & you are about to missing out this best group of the world.
InSomnia means In Dream, not the "sickness", it has nothing to do with it. Except we don't sleep on their music, what is a given. :-) Welcome to the Dreamworld, enjoy your stay. :-) Wait until you see the CGI in Maison. It's horrible. :-D The song itselfs is good, but the CGI... This song is after Maison, and they toned it back, not just a few notch, but a ton. I think BEcause would be more of your music from them, also Fly High.
Thank you! Yeah I do feel like the CGI should be at a certain level for it to be used for most of the video. I do know they’re trying so I can’t really be mad at it

I appreciate this 🥰 and I actually had no idea how wasteful it could be. I’ve been on set a couple of times but never looked at it that way
They are also a smaller group under a small label, so it's understandable that they don't have the budget to match larger companies
That’s understandable but that’s why I don’t really comment on it tooo much since even I can’t pull of any of the CGI they have

Now this is everything I needed to plan the next Dreamcatcher video!!
They're super talented as you can see 😊
I'd love to see more.
P.S you are really pretty
Thanks so much 🥰 definitely will be checking in on them more often
Thanks you and yes honesty if it wasn’t for that comment I wouldn’t have even tried but I am soooo glad I did
Дримкетчер круты как всегда
Thank you 🥰
She Truly is above Human ,
she is a Dreamcatcher
YOU’RE SO PRETTY!! Ty for reacting to dreamcatcher 🤭
Thank you so much ♥️ and am glad you enjoyed!
They were known as a group called "MINX" and it was composed of 5 members :
Jiu, Dami, Yoohyeon, SuA and Siyeon.
The concept was bubbly (I like bubbly concept).
MINX debuted in 2014 with 'Why Did You Come To My Home?' [MV].
But they rebranded it to "Dreamcatcher" and debuted as a 7 member group :
Jiu (Leader), Yoohyeon, Dami, Handong (She wasn’t a MINX member), Gahyeon (Maknae) (She wasn’t a MINX member), Siyeon and SuA.
That’s so sweet thank you. Glad you enjoyed it!
So happy you decided to check out Dreamcatcher! Thank you! ^_^
I'd like to recommend some bsides that show off their other colors that you may enjoy. These all have dance videos or special clips that you can watch:
Wonderland
Sleep-walking
July 7th
Black or White (this dance video is on Dingo music)
Red Sun
Hopefully Insomnia haven't overwhelmed you with our enthusiasm, we just really love our Dreamies! 😅
No you guys gave me the warmest welcome ever!
It’s crazy how a lot of people overlook them. It should be illegal 😂
I think Dreamcatcher Dejavu is your type of Dreamcatcher song
I have heard deja vu but haven’t seen the MV so it’s coming soon 🤩
Blessed by the Greek Goddess Aphrodite ,
with Divine and Timeless Beauty ,
They are Dreamcatcher
This is so cute 🥰 I love the positivity
Thank you for Dreamcatcher reaction
I really enjoyed it
Dreamcatcher❤
I know this comment is late. But i would like to comment seeing this video seem to have no follow up Dreamcatcher reaction yet.
They're having a comeback tomorrow!
Welcome to Dreamworld!
Thank you for your reaction! 💗☺️
Dreamcatcher (DC/Deukae) is an unique 7 member girl group.
**This is only for their TITLE TRACKS.**
They've had concerts and live performances with live bands, which, to me, has the best versions, which many InSomnias can agree that.

There are currently 3 storylines:
Note* Storylines are for their title tracks only:
*NIGHTMARE* Series
- DC are cursed by a spider who was killed by one of them & became 7 Nightmares personifications, after which they try to escape (knowing the Dreamcatcher lore as a start would be good)
*DYSTOPIA* Trilogy
- About social/online bullying/toxicity...DC are guardian spirits of The Tree of Language who were awoken by the world's social/online toxicity, by which they retaliate and seek to achieve Utopia.
*Apocalypse* Trilogy
- The end of times with Chaos & Carnage in the Dusk. It contains the message of Dreamcatcher, who dreams of taking a leap forward in a better direction for everyone in a dizzying world.
Note** Feel free to conclude your own theories, as the storylines have many interpretations from the fandom.
I've listed their main title/single tracks released chronologically from debut to help you:
NIGHTMARE SERIES :
-Chase Me (Debut) (2017)
-Goodnight (immediate continuation from Chase Me)
-Fly high (Prequel to Chase Me)
-You & I (strong connection from Fly High)
-What (Still trapped in the Nightmare in a different setting)
-Piri (it's a flute which JiU used to warn the rest about the danger they're in) (2019)
DYSTOPIA TRILOGY: (take note of the Tree, which reflects the mood for each MV)
-Scream (2020)
(They're spirits of the Tree of Language. Awakened from their sleep due to overwhelming spread of the world's words/actions toxicity)
-Boca ('Mouth' in Spanish)
(Set out into the world to stop those social toxicity which results in depression/death to the affected ones)
-Odd Eye (2021)
(Trying to find Utopia within the world's social/online toxicity, but ended up getting themselves corrupted)
**Only for Scream & Boca, 1 member, Handong, wasn't with them as she was in China, participating a show, Youth With You, and various schedules. Supposed to comeback for Boca but was stuck there due to the Pandemic.

OMG this comment was held for review and I didn’t know 😭 I’m so sorry. There will definitely be more coming. I’m in the middle of exams so it’s been hectic. Even tho I’m really late thank you for this 😊
@@Nanita no worries... Take your time, thank you for noticing... And hope you go through your exams smoothly! 😊
Thank you 🥰 I really appreciate each and every one of you 🥹
I LOVE Dreamcatcher. ODD EYE is the last of the Utopia Discography Trilogy. :) Scream and Boca are the first 2. Some other great single hits, imo, are De Ja Vu, Maison, and Because. These ladies are SO great. They will pick up in the west once they get noticed. True poets.
I'll check it out! Hope you’ll stick around for the next dreamcatcher video
I see Dreamcatcher I click 😎
and thank you for your reaction
Thank you so much for watching 🥰
Fellow InSomnias, wait until she finds out about Minx! 🤯
😳 can I handle it tho? Hahaha
@@Nanita minx is dreamcatcher.
Okay now that is impressive! I actually might start appreciating CGI more often
gurl this is like the first time i check ur channel and ur so beautiful i really liked you girl your so beautiful keep going up new subscriber luv u
Thank you so much!! Idk why this was held for review. I’m sorry for replying so late 🥰 welcome to the fam ❤️

@Nanita Njoki they are criminally underrated 💔 but they are so talented as well ! Even tho few months ago they lost two members the main vocalist ella and satbyeol the lead rapper they left the group but a new member joined shes rinji and he first comeback with them is karma !
Ahhhhh, gracias por la reacción y la oportunidad a las chicas.
De nada 🥰
Nice choices of songs!

I’m convinced they deserve better and so much more
please react to boca, because, scream, reason, maison
and their old releases like chase me, you and I, good night, fly high, what
I definitely will thank you guys for the suggestions really
Can you react to Fifty Fifty- Cupid and Higher, they are the fastest rookie in 4th gen to get into Billboard and trending with Cupid? They have so powerful vocals and talent, their CEO reveals that he sold his car to invest in the group and he didn’t expect the group to get in Billboards😢.
Hi I already did it’s on my channel. I literally love them cause they gave me such a nostalgic vibe 🥰 make sure to watch it
More dreamcatcher ❤️
Definitely coming soon
(for the viewers) I'm a long time Dreamcatcher stan, I hear a lot of people suggest Pixie. Is there a particular set of Pixie songs I should listen to?
Unfortunately I didn’t get any concrete song suggestions but maybe someone else could help
Love this girls😊❤
Wellcome to dreams world
Warmest welcome ever! ♥️
@@Nanita reaction to dreamcather ultimate guide 2021/2022
You hardly even go through their best title tracks yet. Also wait till you discover their B-sides xD Their B-sides have the best songs! Wind Blows, Black or White, Sahara, Break the Wall, Starlight etc are some of their legendary songs. So don't just plan to listen to other groups already. You haven't even dig deep into them yet & you are about to missing out this best group of the world.
I will definitely do a good deep dive with you guys since you all explained it so well 😊 I’m already super excited
InSomnia means In Dream, not the "sickness", it has nothing to do with it.
Except we don't sleep on their music, what is a given. :-)
Welcome to the Dreamworld, enjoy your stay. :-)
Wait until you see the CGI in Maison.
I do know they’re trying so I can’t really be mad at it
CGI expensive😢can’t compare to groups that can drop millions, still good either way❤❤
I know I just wish there was maybe another alternative but I don’t mind it that much either way since they get their message across
Thank you
Welcome!
Please react boy group TNX comeback song " love or die" on the TNX channel thank you
