She is sooo likable! I like her transparency and how she chatters her thought and laughs at her foibles, not to mention why she looks so damn good. Now she is clearly a by product of what she preaches! You go girl!
Im just getting into the spiralizing of veggies, and your dressing and or sauces are beautiful, I will be trying this. Thanks so much, you do a great job.
Every time I watch one of your videos I run out to the CSA and get what I need to cook it nana. So far it's all been great. Gonna try your spring rolls next.
Another great recipe as always, Ali! Just a note, the "info" button on the video is displaying the Vegetti and Paderno Spiralizer for purchase. Would hate for anyone to miss out on your awesome Inspiralizer, my personal favorite kitchen tool!
Hi, Ali, I really like this salad! I made it for my book group meeting and it was a great success! I made one alteration: instead of Sriracha sauce, I used Viet Nam garlic chili sauce. For me, it has a more asian flavor and a little brighter heat. Thanks again for a splendid dish! Peg
Looks really yummy! Will be making it soon. One helpful idea would be for you to snip your veggies as they are coming out of the spiralizer? Just a suggestion. Am looking forward to giving this recipe a try!
Hi Ali! I love that you are sharing more vegan recipes! I'm wondering what makes this recipe Thai? As far as I know, the only Thai dishes I can think of that use peanut sauce (which I assumed you had swapped in with almonds instead of peanuts) is satay-but I always see people naming dishes as "Thai Noodles with Peanut Sauce" or "Asian Noodles with Peanut Sauce" which drives me nuts (hah! Pun was not intended but I like it). It's like boiling pasta, adding some tomato sauce, and calling it Italian. There is so much more to Italian cuisine than that-the same can be said for Thai cuisine.
There's a spicy Thai hot sauce used (a hot chili sauce) as well as the peanut-themed sauce as you mentioned (which I switched up with almond butter.) The combination of ingredients, as well - veggies, cilantro, scallions, and things of that nature! It's definitely a westernized Thai dish!
I hear what your saying. Thai cooks if ever rarely use sesame oil..that's more Chinese and or Japenese style... It would be more appropriate to say "Asian Inspired" but Thai cooks usually almost always hit these points of taste...sour, sweet, salty, spicy hot... when these four flavors are met..it's more Thai ...the salt usually comes from fish sauce which is one of the most predominant ingredients in good Thai dishes. Dishes without this one flavor in particular rarely taste authentic.
In your more recent video with the fajita bowls you put the bell pepper on the inspiralizer the opposite way, where the bottom of the pepper is attached to the teeth end and the top is against the blade. Which way is best? It seems like with the top of the pepper hitting the blade first, you get less seeds since they're mostly left in the bottom after removing the seeds from earlier.
I have almost all these ingredients at home going to make it tonight for lunch tomorrow. I am actually defrosting some shrimp for my dinner might add a couple chopped up into this too. Thanks!
now this is a salad that i would want to try. I'm trying to find make ahead recipes for work lunches. with a lot of these would you be able to prep the veggies over the weekend and possibly make the sauce separately to add later on?
Another terrific video! I'd like to have this recipe become a "regular" too. Good idea reposting it so that we get notified. I went ahead and installed your app as to help support your mission! $1.99 is well worth it. Looks good, so far!
how long will it keep in the frig? and what do you think about electric spiralizers? compared to hand ones? cheers! i want to buy a spiralizer but i dont know if i should go electric or hand version?
Without the dressing on it this should stay in the fridge for a few days! Our favorite spiralizer is of course the Inspiralizer: bit.ly/the-inspiralizer
Wow that looks good. And so healthy. I love this channel.
You're so kind! Thank you!

Yes, my mother actually does that - great minds think alike!

What would make this dish Thai if you were making it, Lisa?
I wouldn't make this dish Thai at all. I'd probably just call it quinoa and zucchini noodle salad with spicy almond butter sauce. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The Viet Vegan I like Thai. You like shirt?

That is one big pepper noodle! Another great recipe :)
Thank you for the kind comment!

This looks so fresh and fantastic! How many servings do you think it would make?
It should make 4 servings! Check out the link for the recipe for all the information!
Hi, what is the name of the spiral izer you use? Thank you.
We use the Inspiralizer, our own brand of spiralizer but unfortunately we no longer make it!
I have almost all these ingredients at home going to make it tonight for lunch tomorrow. I am actually defrosting some shrimp for my dinner might add a couple chopped up into this too. Thanks!
This would work so well with some shrimp too, definitely! Enjoy!
Hi, same here it look tasty! I have a zucchini noodle dish on my channel too if you’re interested. Come on by..
now this is a salad that i would want to try. I'm trying to find make ahead recipes for work lunches. with a lot of these would you be able to prep the veggies over the weekend and possibly make the sauce separately to add later on?
Yes, definitely! This post may help: bit.ly/inspmealplanning
It’s great watching you and thanks for a good recipe but how many days do you think it could be stored in the refrigerator?
So yummy! Just made it - but didnt add quinoa - what other protein would work well?
soy chunks, tofu
Another terrific video! I'd like to have this recipe become a "regular" too. Good idea reposting it so that we get notified.

Yes! This recipe is definitely a regular!
Wow...so glad I found your channel.. just subscribed ! :0)
Thank you so much!
Where does one find almond butter? In the regular supermarket? And how do you prepare the chinoa before adding it? Thanks.
Make it!
We buy it from the store! But you can make your own as well.
nice video.
Thank you so much!
I just went and brought a spiralizer after watching your videos.
Yay!!! Was it the Inspiralizer?! inspiralized.com/the-inspiralizer/
That dressing sounds amazing! Can't wait to try it! BTW the recipe link is incorrect. No biggie.
Thank you! And I fixed the link, great catch!
This looks very good! I want to try almond butter but it's always so expensive and over my grocery budget! Are there any places to buy it cheaper?
Make your own - that's an easy way to cut costs but keep it healthy!
I found a health food store that sells it in bulk and it's about 50% cheaper that way. (someday I'll try making it at home...)
how long will it keep in the frig? and what do you think about electric spiralizers? compared to hand ones? cheers! i want to buy a spiralizer but i dont know if i should go electric or hand version?

@@GetInspiralized thank you for the info. do you think hand controled is better then electric? what is your take on it?
Ask your audience what they creatively can do with that core!
I'd say soup!
Seems like you would be able to get more of that yummy dressing out of the bowl if you used a spoon. A lot was wasted. I'm going to try it though!!
you could save all the bits for a homemade veggie broth too not waste anything
Great suggestion!
I love the idea! thank you
How much soy sauce,, sesame oil, lime juice, hot sauce, and honey do you use?
Check the recipe! It's in the description!
Inspiralized Thank you! Didn't see that.
How much would u be willing to sell your channel for
what Ali, No Chop Sticks? Great recipe though.
Thank you!
