3:00 to 3:23 is the most beautiful, touching moment I have ever experienced in jazz music (or whatever style one wants to call this). This section is also more intense than the studio recording - and you can see the exhilaration and delight when she comes out of it.
Thx ! this is so good, expressive - beautiful music, Hiromi at her best. And the transcription is so good even though this is full of rhythmic mysteries :)
I think in M60 you've got an error in the r.h. rhythm? I think the 8th note F on the second half of beat 3 is actually only a 16th, and the Eb 16th immediately before it is actually an 8th?
Ha! I thought you weren't gonna transcribe it because it had been done on a couple occasions and versions. To he honest, I also thought you'd have transcribed this version, which is full length theme and improv, that I personally find much more inspired ^^ : ruclips.net/video/j-un2VYLpRA/видео.html Yet, kuddos for this one!
That high Eb in M70 is just lovely. Kudos to the technician who really set that Yamaha up so well (and of course Hiromi's artistry)!
Couldn't agree more!

It's basically going up by 4ths to modulate. Simple but really beautiful.
What Hiromi transcription should I do next, guys??
Kaleidoscope please!

Interesting! I'll think about it
I actually prefer this version better. The improv is not as elaborate but it’s perfect. Like a pearl
Liszt like?
Debussy's dominant 9th and half-diminished 7th's come to my mind.
