Very cool. Probably should be written in the key of G with F# in the signature, which would avoid many of the # accidentals having to be written in.
You're right. I was aware it's in G. However importing to the master score I totally forgot to change the key! smh
@@CorneliusTsen Is it possible you could change it to G? I'm thinking about "patreoning" ;) ;) ;)
@@adamczerski2094 yep its G :-)
@@adamczerski2094 hiromi is always the "g-shit"

An absolute genius. Transparent, minimalistic, yearning, especially beginning. I feel so much past pain and current hope and love in every note.
Every time I hear this woman play I am reminded of the legendary virtuoso Art Tatum. His style of voicings, runs and scales, his nuanced rhythmic patterns, and imaginative blending of classical, jazz, and popular motifs are all on full display when she works...plus she has technique as formidable as Tatum's. I heard her do a version of Tatum's famous finger breaker "Tiger Rag" once. She was almost him! Her worldwide celebrity among music fans is unquestionably well-deserved.
She s really special , I saw her 4 times and … I cannot explain my feeling about her art …
@@milon5378 I was never fortunate enough to catch one of her performances, but it is on my bucket list next time she tours the US.
Wow....she is so talented. Never heard this but I could see her smiling face and those phenomenal hands as she interpreted one of the most beautiful of Paul’s gems
2:32 Bach: Jesus bleibet meine Freude quote
Wow
Thats a great ear
@@mlggodzilla1567 hiromi s soli are full of these hints.
@@wurstfinger3289 my ears are too dumb to catch those hints
@@mlggodzilla1567 is it your ears, or just less knowledge of musical literature? im just asking, because i mean, there is no need to know bach that well^^ even if he is one of the greatest and eventually the most important.
Pretty much the most delicate, restrained, thoughtful, and yet dynamic, interesting and beautiful playing I've ever heard Hiromi do. Great transcription too!
I got to see her once at Yoshi's in Oakland. she showed she was very soulful and and capable of playing very restrained and delicately. she improvised a little 5 note thing that still gives me goose bumps just thinking about it. was so simple like something a child would do but so beautifully done. I remember that night walking out just thinking it was the best jazz I had ever heard. she blew me away completely.
Woah, so well done! Hiromi is my favorite pianist, great to see more transcriptions of her work :)
My favorite pianist also !!! I saw her 4 times , it was magic , she s magician of piano !
Sie ist eine der besten Jazzpianistinnen, die es derzeit gibt. Möglicherweise ist sie sogar die beste. Was für ein Talent...
ich wüsste nich, wie man besser spielen könnte. das frage ich mich seit über 10 jahren.
Blackbird, in my humble opinion, is very likely THE BEST SONG Paul McCartney ever wrote ... and this rendering does it proud. _Molte grazie._
I like "In my life"
@@patriciodasilva7902 Lennon wrote the lyrics and sang "In My Life." They remember the music differently, from Wikipedia: Referring to McCartney, Lennon said "his contribution melodically was the harmony and the middle-eight itself."
Blackbird is a great jazz standard. I prefer Brad Mehldau's interpretation to Hiromi's lovely version, he plays more with the rhythm and makes the "Into the light of a dark black night" section explode.
Gorgeous.. just gorgeous.
I'm happy to be alive when there is *recent* music THIS beautiful.
What a fantastic transcription ! Thank you Cornelius ! Hiromi plays this song in a sort of Keith Jarrett style.
The Beatles song where the harmony out melodies the melody. Feels so good.
sounds like magic to my ears
Mélissa Belaidi . I agree , I just want to ( if I could ) pour this into my ears then plug them up and keep it to myself .❤️ .
Brilliant transcription of Hiromi's unique version of the most elegant song ever written by the Beatles. Way to go, Cornelius.
I confirm ! Young I loved The Beatles but now I prefer Hiromi s version , so incredible and touchy !
Super good job. Hiromi is extremely hard to transcribe. Keep it up!
Not judging by a transcription
Beautiful as hell. Should have probably been written in the key of, JUST THE WAY IT IS.. Feel sorry for 7.3 billion people in the world that is unaware of this masterpiece of a masterpiec. Thank you Hiromi, for beeing and for gifting us with this....
Spectacular transcription of a virtuoso jazz pianist playing a truly beautiful song - thank you very very much CT!
Excellent.......obviously an ....."extra terrestrial".......un damaged flawless....perfection.....
4:30 Notes at the second half of bar 127 (on the Gsus2/B) so light and playful. Love it ❤
woah! just happened on this on the heels of listening to Jon Batiste..and never thought i would hear anyone who could come close to playing it the way he did..until now. thank you Hiromi and Corneilius..for sharing this.
Good point, I started with a transcription of Bob Patin, then saw the very nice one of Jonny May and then was impressed by the cool intepretation of Jon Batiste- then I discovered this transcription and the incredible performance of Hiromi- I love quite all of the different interpretations of this song but the coolest and most "jazzy" version is for sure this one of Hiromi. The exact transcription of Cornelius increases the joy but liscening and reading the notes- wow, this is the one!!!
Absolutely love listening and playing this. I got your transcription of this and it just blows my mind how Hiromi could create this, how you could transcribe this, and how I'm actually learning to play it.
Thanks!
Beautiful. Technically demanding, but true to the tune in the most original way. Love this
just saw her play this in atlanta. great job!! my remedial fingers can't wait to lumber thru. thanks!!!!
Beautiful
This is absolutely enchanting!
one of my fave
It´s like a combination beetween Oscar and Bill...swing with classical touch...what a sound
bill? evans? i guess, oscar peterson, but i was thinking about classic musician because you mentioned her classical education with these precise dynamics n stuff
I think Paul will have a tear in his eye , I know I’ve got a tissue . Thank you lady .
Really beautiful playing ! Thanks for the transcription
Gave me chills.
Come on Adam Neely, where are you? This kid deserves your accolades in the comment section for his amazing work!
You can hear Adam in there, when the pedal turns to BASS!
Great ideas, wonderfully executed. Thanks.
Absolutely beautiful and evocative of a songbird towards the end. So unlike Hiromi's usual high energy style
Always amazing and creative , sensitive, Hiromi !
Geez... I'm impressed that people actually can correctly write stuff like this just by listen to a record.
Music software like Sibelius will transcribe whatever you play on the keyboard.
I'm pretty sure she's playing an acoustic piano on this recording which means the transcriber is working off an audio recording. But I could be wrong
If you take an Aural Theory course half of the classwork is hearing a recording and transcribing.
@@Cheese_Meister cool, but here in italy in conservatory aural theory corses are like a joke.
Dear Cornelius, trank you so much. The Music becomes crystal Clear by Reading your transcript while listening. Best Wisches, Johannes
thank you Johannes!
Ok ngl your patreon rates seem way too low for what you’re offering at each range. Thanks for your hard work! Honestly I think you can bump your prices a bit more :P
maybe a revamp next year!
What a lucky day. Something to add to my Birds and the Music They Inspire playlist.
Thank you so much for this great job!! never thought i would find a transcription like this
Amazing work transcribing. Thank you for sharing.
Absolutely beautiful
Beautiful
so light so pretty
It is such a well written version. But i can't get over the last "Disney's beauty and the beast phraseXD."

Actually was a comment on a george collier video
Nah I love Hiromi, I searched for this
But actually I found hiromi because RUclips recommendations 🤔, not specifically this video

Beautiful reharmonisation! Simply wow!
Great tune, cool interpretation, excellent transcription!
This is fuckin amazing-both her take on the tune and your transcribtion.
I love this interpretation of this wonderful song.
Great cover! Hiromi ufff!
This is great.. Good job. Keep it up. Thanks for the performance 👌
So cool, nice transcription choice, thanks for your work!
your transcription is spot on!
Super sweet
so camp I love it
Awesome! You earned a sub. More Hiromi please!
Beautifull work thank you!, This remind me of Keith Jarret somethimes
Definitely Keith Jarrett early shit
Me too Anibal.
This is beautiful but while your at it check out Joey Alexander's version. It also come transcribed.
Nice, but borrows quite heavily from the Brad Mehldau version.
I clicked on this, and in the beginning. I was like op- never mind wrong song, but then the gentle phrasing pulled me into a world cloud tap dancing 😂
Sooo sweet!! Thank you for your exquisite work.
Just amazing 😻 thank you🙏✨🙏✨🙏✨❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️
Otherworldly playing..the thousandth time I am listening. Is it only me that thinks in some parts a little less pedal would be even better?
Very cool!
That’s badass, thx.
This is amazing
Amazing performance
Great job!!! Congratulations!!!
Thank you very much, can you do some transcriptions of bill evans ?
Thank you!
Woao very good job. So quick (in just one week). Thank you so much for sharing your huge work. What's next ? Spectrum ? ^^
she basically made up time signatures in Spectrum, I think it's as transcribable as Haze.
Amazing work
Lovely, really lovely. Thanks
Around 3:45 onwards her reharms here are so good
Cool! Thanks for the transcription 😊👍
Wonderful. Thanks so much 😊
Wonderful! 👏👏👏
Hiromi Uehara 🎼🎶🎹🎹💕💕
Thanks for this. A lovely song and powerful lyrics. You've done it well. Is the pdf available ?
I felt like the lyrics really got lost in the mix. :-P
Just music... 🎹 🙏
Wonderful, thank you!
Thank you ! Good job
Cornelius, you do not need to transcribe this. In Japan, they sell the complete books of Uehara.
Really good work don't worry about the key signature.. Anyone smart enough to appreciate yr wk gets it.
I hardly understand anything going on in here but I see those ever changing time signatures and 3rd notes and I am scared
I hope Macca was listening to this partitur, slightly different arrangement but more sophisticated and sweet end in the ear,
Great ! Braaavoooo !!! Standing ovation !
I liked the vidoe and subscribed. This is an amazing job! And never heard this before even though i usually listen to her!
AMAZING...

Your name is actually Cornelius? Badass.
Thank you! Found a great new pianist! ❤️
Excellent job! Do you have the transcription in pdf?

hiromi, why are you so gorgeous? insane.
Wow. This is hard to play. Like...really hard.....
the big problem is especially the dynamics, her touch, her .. fucking soul.
she is the best thing ever happened to me.
Merci
Great, thanks
