I had a toe biter in my pool as a kid, I cornered it and it bit my hand. I know that pain, and it’s terrible. I also got stung by a cicada killer as a kid, sent my hand numb and HURT
@@chrisastley7696 I know the kind of pain OP's talking about. It's more like a numbness caused by such intense pain that other sensations are drowned out by it or not as noticeable; you only feel the pain. I got stung by one of the giant red ants we have here in Southern Arizona. It felt like my toe was being cut open at first, and then clamped and twisted by red hot pliers. It burned and stung and throbbed with pain. My toe couldn't feel anything BUT that horrible pain. I was a young kid, but right after that ant stung me I filled that nest with oxyacetylene and blew it sky high. I was so angry. 😸 I have never gotten stung again though. I give them more distance and any nests on my property get a nice serving of Amdro.

When I was a landscaper. My partner & I was cleaning out a mulch bed with a tree in the middle of it. As we was cleaning out the bed. I felt a sharp pain on the back of my neck. I grabbed whatever it was and threw it to the ground realizing it was a bald face hornet. It had stung me in the back of my neck. We looked at the tree and seen the partially hidden nest before a swarm starting coming out after us. We took off away from the swarm, but that was the most painful insect experiment I ever had
Thanks for the chigger warning! : ) P. S. The singular of 'larvae' is 'larva'. And may we congratulate you for minding your tongue even while in great pain!

I have bugs living on my head, under my scalp, some form of hexapod, proturan or springtail, I have killed some with UV lights 55watt and made one jump out of my head by adding gasoline to a hot bath... obviously no one wants parasites on their body... They excrete their young when I rest my head, and whatever I put my head on ends up full of them. I don't know what to do. I've tried lice treatments, I add vinegar to salicylic acid shampoo, I've used rubbing alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, betadine. they live comfortably on my head and they wont leave... they do make holes that look like pimples (painful). I used a sonic insect repellant once it just made them burrow deeper (rather than leave my head). I know this is unsual, but I am more susceptible than most to all parasitic insects (fleas, ticks, etc)
I would talk to your medical doctor about getting some help. I am sorry I can't be of much service.
