I mean, in Z's defense, getting wall of pained by Puff as Falco isn't really hype, it's more or less just the MU due to his bad recovery. It's why the optimally thing for Falco to do is maintain stage control and anti air. It's kinda the same deal as saying Pikachu back airing a Ganon to death isn't really hype. That said, Jordan was pretty darn hype this video. I think Peter was the most hype but still.
Yeah that’s fair enough. Just feel Peter and Z complain about Jordan for being lame even though he is equally as hype in these free for alls. I’ve watched his tournament videos on his channel, if he is playing try hard you can tell! I get that it’s all friendly banter though, and Jordan can certainly hold his own with the comebacks

He did use to be less hype (because he used to go for super optimal plays as opposed to risky big plays), and the few characters he was really hype with (like Ness) were just really hated by the others, so he was called lame. It also didn't help that he was objectively the best player, so he was expected to win and the underdog (no pun intended) losing is always more hype. I'll say it again. Jordan is (or at least used to be), what's known as "low level hype" or "fake hype". It's when he appears hype to players of a lower level because what he's doing looks really cool or crazy to someone who doesn't understand everything behind it, but it actually very low-risk, optimal, or basic bread and butter flowchart plays that most top players tend to do. Think true combos into knee, edgeguarding with characters that are good offstage (like PIka or Lucina), Falco Up Tilt Combos, or going for tomahawks when enemies shield a lot. I used to think what he was doing was much cooler until I started analyzing combo trees and frame data, and realized "huh, that's the same combo the Elite Lucina I keep running into hits me with every stock and the one I labbed in training mode because it's supposed to be her highest damaging combo". That's how he plays in tournament usually. When he plays here, it's much more exciting and high pace, but the meme has stuck at this point.

That said, he was being way more hype than normal this game, one of the hypest here.
So I’ve rewatched basically all of the Underdogs videos at least 3 times because I love these guys so much but this is by far one of the best or maybe even the best and funniest videos good job boys keep making great content 👍
