@Biswas Guru Let's stay calm, the screen that this laptop uses is pretty standard and not very difficult to replace. If you want the one with the matte finish: www.laptopscreen.com/English/model/Acer/NITRO%205%20AN515-51%20SERIES/?hash=427071 Or, if you want the glossy finish: www.laptopscreen.com/English/model/Acer/NITRO%205%20AN515-51%20SERIES/?hash=643284 It's a simple 15.6 inch wide screen LCD. I suggest you order from the website I linked, even my own manager recommends them. It's quite frustrating to have such a delicate screen that will stop working as soon as you get the smallest crack, but recall that there is an HDMI port on the side of your laptop that you can plug into a monitor if you need to use your laptop immediately.
The original is matte, but are the glossy screens preferred for better color and clarity? Used mainly in darker area so I'm not concerned with glare. Thanks.
@@stuman19741974 Hmm, I haven't heard of there being such a difference between matte and glossy displays. The same type of LCD lighting is used for both, so I think it mostly boils down to preference. You can see your reflection in the screen if you are viewing content that has a dark theme, which can be annoying. But with lighter themed pages I prefer the look of glossy because it seems clearer, but it might just be in my head. I don't have much experience using glossy screens besides my phone and tablet, and I hardly regard the glare now.
