I always thought that Jinora should have died here. Just like when Yue sacrificed herself to restore the Moon Spirit, Jinora sacrifices her life here to restore Raava. Would have made for a way more impactful scene. Imagine how devastating that would have been.

It would have been so heart wrenchingly devastating to see a child, a child who hasn't lived her whole life yet, accept her fate to save world. Given how mature Jinora is and how she was willing to guide Korra through the spirit world, she would've done it if that were the case. But everyone's reaction would kill me and the guilt Korra and Tenzin would have to bear...
