Can we just appreciate how Jinora was younger than Aang, mastered her spirituality, risked her life for Korra and gut stuck in the spirit world, is the most mature child of Tenzin, and when her head gets shaved she looks like Aang. She is one of the best characters in Korra. She's so strong and intelligent and easily one of my favorite characters and reminds me soooo much of Aang .
When Korra sees her cosmic self and walks down the path of light like Aang did, even after losing her connection to her past lives, it never fails to bring tears to my eyes.

I know it's ridiculous but this song always gets to me. Can you just imagine how small you would feel standing next to a giant representation of all the potential within you? Here you are, struggling and burdened, and yet this is here to remind you of what you're capable of becoming, but also how far you'll have to go to get there. I just love how solemn the avatar state/space scenes are.
Definitely not ridiculous man, re watching this show on Netflix makes me feel so many emotions, but this song in particular brings me to tears every time
This song is both sad and hopeful, as it plays when Raava dies, but also plays when Korra finally connects with her own spirit. It's also just an amazing score, my god!
I imagine that the music is of great change. It represents sadness and loss of faith and hope when terrible change comes, while also being the hope and wonderment of better change.
Anybody else notice that the beginning of this song is a variation from the music used in zuko and azula's agni kai? No wonder this sounded so familiar. :)
WHY DO I GET DO EMOTIONAL LISTENING TO THIS? ??? I MISS AANG. I MISS KORRA NOW! !! STILL MISS AANG THE MOST BUT OMG THE FEELS ARE SO STRONNG.ATLEAST I KNOW I'M HUMAN
The music is amazing indeed. I think people expected another powerful character like aang. I feel like korra shows a mentally weaker avatar. I feel like LOK was abit realistic where things didn't end up how they should've been.
@@rationxl2922 I agree! I feel like Korra gets a lot of unnecessary hate. Her story is not as lovable as Aang's and she's definitely a mentally weaker avatar, but people forget that she's NOT Aang! People complain and don"t understand the whole Jinora coming in, but I thought it was great. She shed light in the dark that exposed Raava (Uncle Iroh explained it to Korra), she guided Korra to the spirit world and to the light spirit, and she saved her spirit from being engulfed in darkness much like Korra saved her from the same fate. All woven in a very subtle way. Edit: Wow I wrote this so long ago and my opinions have definitely changed since then. I re-watched the entire series and enjoyed things from it but have seen many flaws that I missed from my last viewing (especially from this book). pigglypoof To me that's just not a credible answer. Book 3 didn't develop this at all. The only thing it developed was more questions and a middle finger to the answers we deserve. I can understand her going into the spirit world, but for her to feel Korra's defeat approaching and project her spirit and produce a light that brought the rebirth of Raava with no prior training was just poor development in ability. Book 3 said this was a spiritual technique and I quote "with some airbending stuff"
Zuckreman definitely knows the true meaning of music. He puts his heart and soul into these magnificent songs and it is quiet obvious... I get goosebumps everytime I hear a few certain songs!!!

To be honest I think season two was the best. The villains, the music, the characters and most of all, the battles. The way korra fought unavattu after she lost her connection to her past lives AND connects to her cosmic energy and BEATS THE HECC OUT OF UNALAK makes me respect korra a lot.
I absolutely loved Book 2!!!! I felt like I had finally learned who the avatar truly was and what their purpose was. While ATLA showed me what the avatar was capable of, I feel like LOK has shown me who the avatar is behind all their power. I at first thought that a season about spirits would be absolutely lame and a waste, and I was dead wrong! While the villain definitely took a backseat throughout most of the season, I enjoyed not having everything centered around him. This season answered so many questions and it truly was phenomenal. And come on, there can't be a hater that can complain about us getting Varrick and Zhu Li!
I agree. It wasn't perfect, but you know what? Weather people want to or not, neither was season 1 of Korra or Avatar were either. But of course the flaws are vastly outmatched by all the wonderful characters and episodes. We gained so much more than we've lost. I still really like Unalaq even if I can't ever say it without attempted crucifiction by fans. Season 2 wasn't quite the best for Korra, the best was yet to come, but it marked the point for me where it found it's own voice with darker storytelling and being unafraid to expand upon Avatar's legacy. It stopped feeling like an Avatar spinoff, and as a worthy sequel in it's own right that chose to take things in a different direction, and not be Aang2.0.
"While ATLA showed me what the avatar was capable of, I feel like LOK has shown me who the avatar is behind all their power." One of my favorite explanations of the Airbender and Korra series' is that Aang was a human that had to learn to be the Avatar; Korra was an avatar that needed to learn to be a human. You stated this idea in a different way and I like it. "Why did you never tell us you were the Avatar?" "Because... I never wanted to be." -Aang "I Needed To Understand What Real Suffering Was, So I Could Become More Compassionate To Others." -Korra
I had nonstop chills and goosebumps when I saw Korra letting go all of her earthly attachments and connecting to the cosmic energies. Such a great soundtrack!
I seriously don't get the book 2 haters. I personally loved the spirits theme and I thought it told a lot about the world of Avatar. Book 2 showed us the other side of the world, the spirit world, in depth. Unlike ATLA, which only seemed to poke certain aspects of the spirit world. I think book 2 also answered a lot of big fan questions. Who was the first Avatar? What exactly is the Avatar? Stuff like that was answered in book 2. That's one of the reasons why I can appreciate book 2 and actually like it more than book 1. It's not far behind book 3 either. Before book 2, I was very interested in the spirit world. It's just such a magical place. After I had watched book 2, my interest in the spirit world had doubled.
I think many were disappointed by episodes 1-6. Those episodes regressed Korra's character development and retconned her energybending from existence. Korra was so unbearable during those episodes, they made me want to quit too, until Beginnings came along and redeemed the whole season. After that episodes 9-14 were great since they focused on the Spirit World.
***** I didn't at first too, but then I started to think "is that the animation that I thought was the best I ever seen? Looked a litte better in my head..." Seriously, just Google "Pierrot vs. Mir" and check the comparisons. Faces at a certain distance look terrible. By the way, Pierrot is the studio that animates Naruto, Mir is the official studio (they did all the other episodes + the entire book 4)
Just finished rewatching Korra through season 3, and Jinora's theme plays again in the Service and Sacrifice piece. This really is her motif. Love it and I love her arc in the series.
Greatest song ever and an unbelievable accompany to the finale of book 2. I really love the way the song is showing a true conflict and how Jinora's Light was really the Light in the dark.
It was the middle of the night when I watched this scene My Mom was loosing her hair because of quimio and I had decided to go bald with her But my hair had always been kind of a protection to me so I was really insecure about that decision When I saw Jinora bald with a pure smile on her face it helped me have the strength to cut my hair that night That I was a big step to me
The first 35 seconds is out of this world am amazing it sounds like the ending of the most insane battle we’ve ever witnessed before.. all u picture if blow after blow and it’s just dark and powerful. This is ridiculously good I’m still speechless after over 6 years
When I was younger i watched parts of Legend of Korra and for some reason stopped watching it and didn't finish. Years later after watching all the seasons of Legend of Korra again as an adult just starting out her life it just hits different. The way u see the animation as a child and see certain lessons differntly but pick up and understand some of the lessons that this animation talks about as u get older is just astonishing. Just thinking about it for some reason makes me emotional nd idk why tho😭😭 but this is one of my most favorite songs along with the episode with harmonic convergence "Light in the Dark" something about it just hits deep in the feels🤷🤷💙
This is actually the most beautiful piece of music I have ever heard, and it could have come at a more perfect time of the year. Thank you Jeremy Zuckerman for making this and thank you Korra Spirit for uploading it,Merry Christmas to you both.
No one gonna talk about how jinora found korra, saved korra, saved the world and got trapped in the spirit world listen up Disney, this is how you make a strong female
Maybe it's not as good as The last airbender series. But this doesn't mean The legend of Korra is a bad series, I don't understand the hate it receives, sometimes I wonder if they ever watched a single episode For me both series are masterpieces
I'm intoxicated with the erhu motifs in this melodic piece by Jeremy. The music of Korra is what transcends the show light years above everything else Nick produces...just a thought. Thanks for the Clip, and thanks to Jeremy Zuckerman for allowing the erhu to be heard in this ethereal light.
***** You do have a point, I'm pretty sure quite a lot of fans prefered Korra empathizing with Kuvira over Korra defeating Vaatu, and felt it was much more emotional and enjoyable.

I don’t understand what Jinora did against the dark avatar, did she turn into a flash bang or something
This song is so beautiful. It calms me down when I’m having a bad day at work. Thank you for posting it!
Greatest song ever and an unbelievable accompany to the finale of book 2. I really love the way the song is showing a true conflict and how Jinora's Light was really the Light in the dark.
"From light comes darkness... And from darkness, light!"
-Khadgar, Warcraft
It was the middle of the night when I watched this scene
My Mom was loosing her hair because of quimio and I had decided to go bald with her
But my hair had always been kind of a protection to me so I was really insecure about that decision
When I saw Jinora bald with a pure smile on her face it helped me have the strength to cut my hair that night
That I was a big step to me
Wow, out of the entire Avatar series, The Last Airbender and The Legend Of Korra, Jinora surely got one of the most epic theme song of all characters!
The single most moving piece of music I have ever had the pleasure of hearing.
This is actually the most beautiful piece of music I have ever heard, and it could have come at a more perfect time of the year.
Thank you Jeremy Zuckerman for making this and thank you Korra Spirit for uploading it,Merry Christmas to you both.
No one gonna talk about how jinora
found korra,
saved korra,
saved the world and got trapped in the spirit world
listen up Disney, this is how you make a strong female
this song hits me with the goosebumps every damn time
This show is so awesome ! ❤❤
wow...so many feels brought on by this. it was amazing. thanks for posting.
I just wish Nickelodeon would release book 2,3, and 4 soundtracks! Instead they're wasting money on shows like Bella and the Bulldogs!
I love Bella and the Bu-, who am I fooling?
Eric Richard Haha I ot scared for a second!
I don't know why, but I cry every time I hear this. The music is so on point and emotional
This track is amazing
Both shows have some of the most impeccable music on TV. On par with Game of Thrones and exceeding in a few areas in terms of score
Best musical piece in the series hands down
Those are few of the most beautiful lines I've ever... read thanks for making my day
It’s like korra is a goddess
Maybe it's not as good as The last airbender series.
But this doesn't mean The legend of Korra is a bad series, I don't understand the hate it receives, sometimes I wonder if they ever watched a single episode
For me both series are masterpieces
same each tell their own story and hold a dear place in my heart
THE SOUNDTRACK OF AVATAR LITERALLY GIVE ME CHILLS!! 😍😍😍
All I need is an hour long of this masterpiece. Is this too much to ask😭
These songs never Failed to keep me in balance
I'll be honest, I think Book 2's season finale was 10 times better than the series finale.
EdSkywalker Me and my friend are in agreement. Felt much more final with this finale. Plus, Vaatu was much more of a threat than Kuvira ever was.
logicalfallacy234 indeed
***** You do have a point, I'm pretty sure quite a lot of fans prefered Korra empathizing with Kuvira over Korra defeating Vaatu, and felt it was much more emotional and enjoyable.
***** Yeah it would have been cool to see Korra and Asami get more depth than they did in the show, but oh well, it was still a solid pairing.
EdSkywalker In my opinion Book 2 ALK is the most beautiful book of the all 4 books.
Who ever disliked this... Dishonour on you dishonour on your family cow dishonour on your whole family!
