- Through the conversations with strangers that I post online, I'm perceived as very extraverted and personable. However, that is not the full reality...
Over the next 10 or so days, I'll be embarking on an east coast road trip-- by myself-- to finally confront and overcome my social anxiety. I'll be stopping by 10 new colleges along the way with 10 unique and progressively more difficult challenges to complete. Subscribe to join the journey :) New videos everyday at 10AM EST.

So many people just say they wanna make a change like this in their lives but I'm so proud that you're taking real steps
On camera it looks perfect. Problem is that narcissists present their delusions as reality and try to convince us to swallow it
Watching this series will be my Pre-Workout routine in the mornings
Let’s goooo!!
Same
didn't expect you to be here lmao
As a non-native English speaker with "self-diagnosed" SAD and ADHD, this video hits like a brick. It's incredible how accurately it captures the overthinking that I go through before talking to someone.
I've had enough of it and I've decided to also give this challenge a shot. We're in this togerther 💪
I have no idea how with ADHD you believe in Neurotypical nonsense?
You got this!!
Even with label ADHD, so many of us believe we should be able to just tough it out if we use enough willpower. This is one of the big myths of our society: “is that anybody can convince their brain to do anything of they just try hard enough”.

Love that you decided not to give up! I struggle with this myself, and even just making eye contact and smiling at people as I walk by them is difficult for me. However, I've just started at a new university, and I really want to challenge myself to initiate conversations and to not be so afraid. Being alone definitely makes it much harder, so I commend you for challenging yourself. Looking forward to seeing your upcoming videos.
You got this!! Thanks for supporting!!😁

@@ColbyMartel No problem! I know what it's like to have social anxiety, it's hard. But I've been working at talking to people, we'll do this together!
Stay strong bro. Don’t give up. Rooting for ya
Thank you!!
Rooting for you Colby!
I can confirm. I walked with Colby around Washington square and he passed so many people haha. But congrats on your trip bro.
excited for this series! as an international student, it's always hard for me to reach out to new people and make new friends other than my kind (indians) and few of my friends pushed me to talk to people and when i do, it actually it's much easier than you think. I always need an alibi then only i start having conversation. I still haven't tried to talking to someone whenever I'm alone, and I wish to learn from this series how you overcome the fear. Much love
It's not easy, but I believe in you!
another awesome video! can’t wait to see the rest of the challenge 👀

where I never related to anything more!
I kind of saw myself
Totally me😂😂❤
You are describing Shyness. Not social anxiety.
Talking with strangers is obsession for Neurotypicals. It is not norm for everyone. It is not goal for everyone.
You never had social anxiety - you had shyness and you tried to fit in into groupthink and herd mentality and groupthink.
Fake
✌🏻🥹hope to see you in my uni campus in italy 🥲🥲🩷
