Thank you! Lol I was just about to ask to see if anyone did this on themselves. I prefer to do my own as I have some thin areas and hairdressers just never listen. I'm more worried about traction alopecia than uniformed pretty locs for pictures. I was thinking about chopping them off because of maintenance but I think this method might do the trick. This is what I was concerned about ! I kept interlocking but it wasn’t neat, I see that you kinda start with a regular retests and THEN you interlock! Makes more sense, and you use product. I’ll try this, hopefully I can do it just as neat as yours for vacation! Thank you ♥️♥️

Wow I had no idea it was like that. My loc technician she’s so smooth I sit back and chill. Now seeing it from this angle. I’m amazed. Superb work!!! The finished was dope!!! I’ve had my locs about a year. I’ve got straight fine hair as I’m Caucasian and Native American. My locs are thin similar to the gentleman in the video. Any tips on fattening them slightly? No more than pencils?

Do have any videos on how catch locks along the hairline. I find with my interlocking I can never catch all the hair. Also repairing locks that where thinning, hair has grown back but a section has thinned.... any helpful videos, would be great.
You’re not supposed to snatch up all your hairline that’s how yo shit will get fucked up over time leave it alone

How often would you recommend interlocking? I’ve heard that too often isn’t good.
It really depends, some people only use the interlocking method so they will get it done anywhere from every 6 weeks to every 2 months as it depends on how much new growth there is however those that mostly retwist may only interlock 1-3 times a year and only when they have more than an inch of regrowth

Hey, I have a question. I retwisted my boyfriends locs the other day. I used water and oil only, no gel and then put his locs into twists for them to dry because I didn't have any clips. A few days later he opened the twists and took a shower with no durag / head scarf on. All of the retwist unraveled and basically my work was undone.. How can I prevent this from happening, will interlocking them help? And should I use a gel? (he has 3c hair btw which I feel makes it more difficult) Thank you so much
yes ! it will , because i’ve had locs for over a month and mine unraveled 3-4 times at the root . interlocking them will stop it
