I just replaced all these mounts last week! It was a real pain in the ass. My only advice is to ensure your jack is in-line with the mount. Mine wasn’t at first which meant the engine was at an angle, which also made putting the new mount on totally impossible! (And for the transmission mount… save yourself the headache and just take out the battery, fan box… heck, remove the battery shelf too if you want it real roomy!)
I have a similar sound under heavy acceleration, but it's because I have the Level 2 engine drop kit from Aerogenics. The bolt hole on the bottom of the stock air box can't reach the transmission mount so it bangs and vibrates against each other.
I have vibration on my E 2005 when I turn on my A/C and I come to a complete stop. If the A/C is off the steering wheel wont vibrate. I changed all 4 mounts 3 months ago.
I’m totally in love with my element, specially with his extremely reliable k24, i have a front wheel drive auto transmission and the only thing that’s kills me is that it only has 4 speeds, anyone has an idea of a tranny swap? I mean, for another automatic tranny like the accord or TLX.
It is posible by replacing the transmisión , ecu and modified wires but I think is not worth to spend that much money to modified it. Best will be buying one newer model 👍
@@Element_lifestyle would you tell me what car donor would be the best? I’d like to know specially which transmission. I’m a mechanic and I have a local junkyard with good prices
Yea that’s right 2007 to 2011 has 5 speed at but will be better to do the 2007 or 2008 element . Also you will need to figure it out the wiring and use the ecu of that year
Yes I informed the coustomer it will be a good idea to replace the motor mounts too. He will ordered from Honda online. This time he wanted to fix it quick and he drove from far away to meet me 👍
Nice video. I replaced my transmission mount last week and it looked just like that one.
🙏 looks like I will be replacing my mounts soon too.

I buy OEM parts from Honda dealers online and they are cheaper than going to the dealer.
I agree 😎👍
I need to change my mount too so I’ll be making more videos 👍
