Love your tutorials. Please make a full in depth, from start to finish, Step by step Trance tutorial! you said if enough people request it you would. 😊Thank you!
@@EDMTips I'm feeling Darren Porter, ReOrder, Daniel Kandi etc. I'm producing Uplifting Trance and always up for new ideas on breakdown's as this is one area I can sometimes struggle with.

Thanks, the amount of detail in here was another level. Your videos are always great but building the bass here was a real education. So many neat ideas. Your teaching style is also spot on! +1 for those asking for a true end to end arrangement, but can appreciate that’s a big time commitment for you. Amen broooother
good night, and thank you very much for making a trance creation video, that's why I wrote myself on your channel, it's very clear and easier to learn than other videos on youtube, thank you for your time and dedication in the video, if possible make a video trance armanda style or big room trance, style armin van buuren, marlo I will be very happy to see you use and create a sound like this, thank you and a hug from Brazil
Enjoying this chilled-out version of the video. Really appreciate the efforts you've put in man and for making these sessions super fun and engaging. Much respect!
@@EDMTips I've recently learned how to teach Mindfulness meditation for depression (working within the NHS), there is a track which samples an old school Alan Watts meditation called 'come together'. It has resonated loads recently, and I just think it's cool as f###. By Nox Vahn and Marsh. Let me take a moment to show my general appreciation as well, I picked this up as a hobby at the start of lockdown and can now produce some semi-semi-SEMI-decent stuff in my spare time thanks to your videos. Not that I'm in it to make money etc, I just love it. Later into next year when I have more headspace for learning I may just well get in touch about your courses.
I watched from start to finish, excellent tutorial. Thank you! I definitely need to take your courses, just not sure if I can find the time right now. Best I can do is subscribe for now, looking forward to watching more, thanks again!
Hi Will, another terrific video from you with lots of learning content for me to go at so many thanks. Would love you to do an in-depth start to finish Uplifting Trance/Melodic Trance track.
Fantastic tutorial - inspiring approach to basslines especially. One question: with layered basslines, is it hard to maintain headroom in your mix? Are there easy techniques to avoid eating up headroom with each bass track you add?
Love Anjuna and listen to group therapy every week. You did a good job man and clarified a couple things I was lacking or unsure of. Loved the video and would love to see more. I'm glad you stated that trance is a bit more difficult than some other genres!
Right there with you all the way to adding a compressor to the Drop Bass Group (feed from the sidechain), followed by an aux channel with reverb (from 25:23). Then I'll admit I was a bit lost. These sections seemed to go by real quickly but without much explanation (to my noob ears). Trying to recreate this on ABS 11 didn't work out too well either. Was going well until this point (keep up the good work).
Will trance has so many different styles uts the biggest music world wide and i really think a full trance course explaining the different techniques rewuired would be amazibg as its really what i belive is the most complicated type of music production. A bit like a modern day Hanz zimmer style trance mayhem course would be trully amazing mate and make a lot of people happy trust me. 😀
Would love to see you do an in depth tutorial focussing only on the advanced stuff. So, avoiding basics like piano roll key set up (I know it's your thing, but every video...?). Do something where you assume folk know what a chord is, eh? Or how to set up a side-chain. Or, rather than using a particular synths settings / presets etc concentrate more on your decisions, the "why do I need this", and "how can I solve this". I would find that so valuable. That's probably the special golden nuggets you keep locked up for the paid courses, I imagine. Still, had to ask. "Shy bairns get nowt".... 🤪 But, loved every minute of this, as always!
I really enjoyed this video, thanks for sharing your thoughts & knowledge about AJuna BEats, what you made is pretty cool 😎 and absolutely love creating it & DJ ing it
Hey Will ! I just wanted to tell you how grateful I am for this tutorial. This week I was able to finish (except for the mastering) an absolute banger like I've never been able to make before. I'd show it to you but unfortunately we can't put links in comments (unless we do ?). Anyway, I'm super super proud of it and it's all thanks to you ! 😊
This is so great! It really helps me out, being a new producer that has been struggling with understanding song arrangement, overthinking melodies, and even… the difference between a bass and a sub bass (the only difference is just dropping it an octave lower on the same key?!!)x thank you!
More trance! 10yrs ago I tried to start producing but it just didn't click for me. Your tutorials alone hav given me the confidence to try and express myself musically and I can't thank you enough for that.
This channel has been my go-to every day now, even though im using FL studio, maybe I switch to ableton someday. I'd love more dnb tutorials & sound desing more!
Brilliant!! really enjoyed. I'd say 2 things, the lasers, that climax needs to blast, the lasers there needed to be much louder, almost in the end hearing just them. Secondly, for beginners this was inspiring, but too hard to apply. Thumbs up ;)
very interesting to watch love how you just click drag drop everything as you go along I mean all the keyboard short cuts Amazing, do a trance mix in the subject of Giuseppe Ottaviani
Just found your channel. Best trance tutorial i've seen on RUclips. Love the fact you go through everything without skipping over vital parts and those little tricks like the key and pitch drop on the bass. Must go watch more of your stuff now but definitely more like this
When watching you working with the ANA synth, I see me noodling around with Surge XT. Overall, this is a fantastic tutorial. And I re-watch it from time to time. Thank you for all your effort you put into your videos.
Not only was this exactly what I am aiming for, but you also pointed me in the direction of ANA by Sonic Academy, a plugin that is very interesting as far as I can tell. Thanks!
