Thank you for the fantastic video. You were very lucky you went out on Friday night before the marquee with the beautiful Flux exhibit were damaged by Storm Ashley on Sunday. A council worker told me yesterday, the marquee was flooded at 2am. It was badly damaged by the wind and have been taken down. He also said they are hoping to repair Flux and display it in the Tower building. I hope they will be able to repair Flux. I am very disappointed not to see it on Saturday night as we were a bit late to the party. Putting a marquee with a delicate artwork within, on the Promenade during storm season, with spring tides was a very stupid thing to do. I hope Blackpool Council have the right insurance to cover costs of repairs or replacement. The Jellyfish exhibit did survive the wind but it had some repairs done to it yesterday. The council worker also said that the other exhibits are ok but I think some of them also needed repairs. I am delighted that Spiro, the baubles and Odyssey are part of the whole Illumination season this year. I was well dissapointed that they took down Odyssey for Christmas by the Sea last year. I also love seeing the Tower doing it's light shows during Illumination season. The music you have chosen for that light show went well with it. A wonderful thing about being able to edit a video, is to be able to put what sound track you want on. Hopefully you won't get in trouble with Status Quo playing in the background on the Prom. Your video is very well edited and a joy to watch. Thank you xxx
Yeah they’ve put flux in the tower now, I’m glad it didn’t get damaged too badly, hopefully plans are in place to make sure it doesn’t happen again, maybe extend the netting protection and use a better material to help protect from the bigger waves, glad you liked the music 😃 it goes with the effects very well my accident as I just layer it on top 😃 passed copyright tho as I uploaded twice to check and ensure it’s good for the second upload 😃👌 thankyou for watching ⭐️
@@ATMedia93 Unfortunately Neuron was badly damaged and have been taken down. We were lucky to see Neuron on Saturday night. Spiro wasn't working last night but hopefully they will be able to fix it. All the other exhibits along the Prom are ok. Had a 3 hour walk around Lightpool last night but we have a lot more to see. Luckily we live in Blackpool and the weather is lovely xxx
