Great vlog. Pleasure beach is the park that got me into coasters/theme parks etc/ However after re-watching the 90s documentary on youtube along with coasterdads history of series highlighted the issues for me. I hate to be negative and slag management off but the issue for me is since Amanda took over is the lack of new rides compared to new rides along with the focus more on things like hotels and entertainment
They need a big new coaster that's for certain but id be concerned that if they build anything too tall it will never be able to open because of wind. A 150ft or so ride which focuses on a good layout may be the better option imo.
We were here from Edinburgh on Monday the 16th and were on the train with you. I had been watching your videos before I came as I was worried about fitting in the rides. Thanks for your helpful videos. I got on no bother!
So if your predictions is ice blast is reopening for 2025, old bowling building coming down, new ride replacement in Grand Prix spot for 2026, where do you think the gyro swing would fit into the park if it happens?
Agree with Scott. They need to beat that height record again and call the ride 'THE BIGGER ONE'. Bigger and faster than the Big One and Hyperia and all the others.
I get why you're predicting the dates you said, but I do hope it's sooner. Maybe the gyro in 2026 would be fine, but I'm hoping the grand prix replacement isn't 3, 4, 5 years out 🤞(although it's clearly at least 2 🤷🏽)
I think you are spot on with your ride predictions for the next couple of years because I believe the PB just hasn't got the finances to do everything that is needed for the park hence why the retracking of The Big One has been stalled.
the grand national i was told by one of the staff called jack that worked at the pleasure beach when i was there last week is not open because the chain on the left lift hill stapped and he heard it stap when he was working on it
I agree, the height record is what should be on the to do list among other things, as it’s the only thing that they can market stupidly easily. The marketing has been pretty poor for a long time now, so that’s the only thing that would pretty much market itself coaster wise.
what are their plans for that space invader building then? there's nothing in there right? the jet star coaster or whatever was inside got taken out to Bream?
Always enjoy the Blackpool vlogs. Still a good variety of rides to keep everyone interested. Don't think going for height record is the way forward for pleasure beach, a Swarm type ride would be good.

At 11:00 Slight correction Superman Escape from Krypton is the tallest coaster if Top Thrill 2 and Kingda Ka go. Unless that gets removed as well in which case red force would be the tallest
Those off peak days are great for lapping the rides but you do miss the atmosphere of the busy crowds. I do hope that the park can pull a few strings and call in a few favours to get those new rides in to the park ASAP. Even a temporary flat ride while awaiting the new rides will help with the ride availability.
@@yourexperienceguide Yeah - the more I think about it you're probably right, but I was meaning a temp ride just to soak up the queues like a sponge, not to get people through the gates. Sometimes I get my words mixed up when explaining things. Hopefully this new Gyro Swing will be the answer to that scenario.
Scott i think the uk parks bar thorpe are just not doing it for you anymore maybe these elite parks you go to now so often just makes uk parks a bit dull ...just a thought
