Dude... I absolutely love this so so much ✨❤️ I've had it on repeat now for 40 minutes. Beautifully done mate! It's like this song has found even deeper meaning with this Banjo playing
@@TylerLynn Hi Tyler, I'm thinking of signing up to your patron for the tabs but I'm really new to Banjo (just started and 2 very basic songs in). Do you think your patrons suitable for beginners? Love your music and channel! Beautiful stuff.
@@TylerLynn OK thank you for advice. Would be great, trying to get going but not too many instructors out there or beginner geared stuff to get you up and away.
Hey man, I just found this cover and I absolutely love it. But I have some questions, if you don't mind. 1. I play guitar fingerstyle and i want to get a banjo. Should I get a 5- or 6 string banjo? I really want to enjoy those fingerstyle songs with the banjo tone. 2. What is this type of playing called in the banjo community? Is it fingerstyle too? 3. Do you have some courses or anything to show, how you write your own tabs for that?
1) get a 5-string! I don't think anyone plays 6-string. But hey, if you try a 6-string and like it, go for it. 2) Clawhammer 3) I have a patreon with tabs - so far no tutorials!
Deering Goodtime 2. I have the model up...the Deering Goodtime Special with the tone ring and its been really nice. Got mine new in SC for just under $1,000. I wasn't setting my expectations bar too high because the Goodtime series are the "budget" banjo Deering line but honestly, I'm very happy with it. Plus I prefer the natural blonde look over the more traditional style banjos out there. Some folks think this is not a thing but personally, in my experience, banjos...especially ones with the resonator, take a few months to "break-in". The tone gets much richer and crisper as you play it and everything "settles" on the banjo. Love mine. What's great too about the Deering Goodtime line is that it's the perfect banjo to travel and play outdoors with without having to worry about banging up and getting dirty much more expensive banjos.
Honestly banjo is one of the most underrated instruments
Definitely agree!
♥
Seriously. I need more banjo in my life
Beautiful playing !…
Just learning to play the banjo and how versatile it really is. This is great!
Thanks so much! I agree, it's a very versatile instrument!

@@alanathoms8447 Hi! So I think as of now it's geared towards intermediate-advanced, but I can see about including some more beginner content!

as a string instrument player than cant be easy to keep that tempo with the drumming and strumming pattern
Once you get the pattern down it isn't so hard
How do you do that
Hey Tyler! Would you happen to have any tabs for this awesome cover? I’m a bluegrass player looking to get into clawhammer. Thank you!
Unfortunately I don't!

I just got a new banjo, but the gt2 was plenty good for me to try out banjo and see if I wanted to commit without having to put up too much money
I like it!!!! 😍😍😍
Thank you!
Holy shit that’s good
Holy shit that's a good comment
My GT2 must be broken, it doesn't sound that good when I play.
Practice practice practice!
