My favorite part is the teleportation physics, it makes total sense and checks out if he really wanted to teleport. In order to not cause an nuclear explosion, he would need to move all the mass away from his destination to not split atoms. Of course this would work to some extent but dark matter is supposedly a thing and we have no idea if it would make a difference since dark matter technically fills the empty space.
Man, a lot of those vampires had really awful reflex saves if they couldn't even dodge that first wave of holy water at around the 2:00 minute mark. Some of them appear to have somehow not have even noticed it was coming.
I’m probably reading too much into this, but seeing all these teleportations, I cant help but think that Lisa’s death and all the horror that followed could have been avoided. Dracula or Alucard could have simply given Lisa an amulet or bracelet that would teleport her either back to Castlevania or to Dracula as a “in case you ever get into trouble” precaution. With such an item, she could have teleported to safety, far away from the Church and continued to live. You can teleport a Castle full of people dozens of times, but you can’t make a single-use emergency escape charm? Doesn’t make sense, but I suppose if they had taken such a precaution, we would have no plot.
I think it was the fact that humans would try to kill her in the first place that would be a problem. She herself might be against any precautions as well, out of principle- she believed humans could be better and Dracula trusted her.
Jerjare I see your points, and agree to an extent. Perhaps she would have rejected such a precaution for the reason you say. A way to help redeem humanity to Dracula. I still feel that not taking precautions to protect your life, in a world filled with dangerous medieval society, wild animals, magic, and monsters is foolish though. But again, if not for Lisa’s death, there is no start to the plot.
To be fair, Howl did his own version of spatial compression, just inside the castle. In other words, Dracula is the guy you call when you need to move; and Howl's the guy you go to when you do a house remodel/ interior redesign.
