  • On a recent trip to North Carolina me and some buddies stopped off at Fire Mountain to check out this tucked away trail system in the heart of Cherokee lands! This trail system has a lot of flow and surprised us all with it's fun session loop that was loaded with features!

If you are on an EMTB, it is super fast to take the trail to the right of the parking lot, I think Fire Tower. Go up to SpearFinger. Turn left and ride spearfinger down, or turn right for a short ride to the top and the Raven's Roost and Kessel Run at the top. UP Fire Tower is sooo much faster but much harder on a standard bike. Good way to tow someone up also.

What are you wearing on your wrists? Asking because I broke mine in an accident back in June and likely won’t be back on the bike for many more months unfortunately.

I was just diagnosed with carpel tunnel and was trying some wrist guards to minimize impacts on the wrists while doing therapy. Not sure what I think about these. My wrists ached a bit after the ride. Not sure they did anything. 🤷🏻
