My niece Amber and her husband Josh McDermitt had to evacuate yesterday evening. The fire was rapidly approaching their house. I am asking for prayer for many who are affected by this fire. We received word that Amber and Josh are okay and made it to a safe place. They were able to just get in their car and leave all behind them. Other than them being safe, the encouraging thing in this is knowing it is possible to willingly leave worldly possessions behind and move in a direction of safety in the Lord. I am asking for prayers of strength in the hearts, spirit and soul of those affected by this fire. I am asking for prayers to strengthen their faith in Jesus and for those who do not know Jesus yet. Thank you Lord for your shield of protection around many. Your love is found in even the darkest places, Amen!

He called his son if he was still in the Hospital.The son said he was back home alone. James contacted a neighbor who lived next to the man. He called James he could not find him. James told him to check a room with a view he favored. He was there. A man avoided a Horrible Death due to James and his neighbor. Praise be to God for the Hearts of these two men who, fought their own grief of losing both of their Homes to reach out to another. 2/9/2024

There is a huge CROSS in that area where the fire broke out in the Hollywood Hills. it's called HOLLYWOOD CROSS. Residents believe Jesus Christ was watching over them, as they said all of a sudden the strong winds that were spreading the raging fire came to a sudden stop. The area where the cross is (at the end of Cahuenga), amidst all the brush and trees, was immaculated intact. PRAISE THE LORD, HALLELUJAH 🙏🙏🙏
Why didn't you report on _where_ the fires are? Los Angeles is a big place, and I don't think the fires are even in Los Angeles. They're in Pasadena and the Eaton Canyon, as far as we know, so this news report was unhelpful.

Has it ever occurred to some of you that humans don't belong in many of those places where these fires are happening, and sometimes they happen annually? Some of those homes are in forested areas, while some are along the ocean in Malibu. The creator never put any houses along the ocean. What about the animals? They need their own space, too. The earth is cleansing an unwanted element from its environment. I would only pray that these people leave those areas, and leave the animals and ocean alone.

Hopefully this event and events like it will help open peoples eyes to the effects of climate change. High winds off the coast and heavy drought conditions without a lick of rainfall, making vegetation dry and prone to burn, it’s no wonder this fire got as bad as it did, all it takes under these conditions is a single lightning strike or a single cigarette and fire spreads easily amongst all the detritus. Not to mention that many of these homes are so close together, within close quarters of each other, it’s clear that they didn’t have fire in mind when they engineered these neighborhoods.
