I saw a report from long time msnbc news anchor Lawrence O'Donnell yesterday. He has a home at risk of loss near the LA fires. He proceeded to tearfully list all his many friends & neighbors who are very successful writers, producers and professionals, who's homes have been lost in these fires. He was reporting from NYC & receiving update texts about his home, from his neighbor in LA. While I have reverent sympathy for their trauma & losses, many have resources and places to go. These are wealthy people in the Palisades area of LA. I haven't followed, but is Operation Blessing helping the people in TN, NC & others devastated by the September Hurricane Helene? The weather is cold, and some are still in tents, 4 months later! The needs are great, the folks are not wealthy and many lost everything. I follow a couple homesteading channels who have been organizing grass-roots efforts along with a few local churches as coordination points. The local people say Samaritan's Purse and crews of Amish from PA and people from surrounding areas are there lending aid. I am very surprised I have not heard any mention of Operation Blessing at all. If you are present there, I Thank you.

Residents believe Jesus Christ was watching over them, as they said all of a sudden the strong winds that were spreading the raging fire came to a sudden stop.
