- See our FAMILIES FIRST IMPRESSIONS of the HUNDRED ISLANDS (ALAMINOS) in this exciting video! We wake up early and head out to explore the beautiful islands with a trike ride provided by a kind local. After packing food, water, and sun cream, we set off on our boat tour with a guide to ensure we see all the best spots. We visit Governor's Island and climb the over 200 steps to see the 55-foot statue of Jesus Christ looming over the Hundred Islands. Next, we visit Children's Island and explore a cave before taking a swim. We also see some amazing views of the islands and the ocean. Join us on this unforgettable adventure!

I agree. Hundred Islands is so underrated and also the north of the Philippines. Cebu, Boracay and Siargao have been featured so many times by vloggers and yet destinations like this in Northern Luzon are rarely even featured.. Thank you for featuring these not-so-famous but equally beautiful destinations in Luzon (Baguio, Batangas, Hundred Islands) and hoping you feature more like Anawangin Cove and Subic Bay in Zambales, . Really enjoy and appreciate the effort you guys put in every video you make.

Glad you visited the hundred islands. It’s nice to be in the water as it’s refreshing and therapeutic to breath the sea air. Next time whenever you go for an excursion like this, bring snacks and drinks esp. you have kids. You had the boat to yourselves and the time. So, where’s the next adventure? Try Subic bay next. It’s westernized and lots of foreigners there. They have nice beaches too.

Oslom's vibe and infectious energy are hard to resist! You could have tried helmet diving, as it is an activity that even non-swimmers can enjoy. It offers an incredible opportunity to observe large clams, a plethora of fish, and even seahorses up close.

Our highlight of the week as kids was going to the beach on Sundays. It's great your kids can experience the same. I can relate to their excitement. 100 islands seems to have changed only a little. A friend brought me there back in the 80s. Also, one of the tiny islands there is named after my grandmother 😄 I have no idea how that worked.

I'm glad that you finally made it to your dream destination. I agree with you that the 100 islands is a fantastic destination.. It is close to manila and relatively inexpensive. I think spending the extra $20 for the guide is worth it.

Glad to see you going full-on with the Luzon experience =) SInce the Philippines is an archipelago, you won't be denied the beach (and mountain) experiences despite some effort getting to these spots. Batangas, Pangasinan; Baguio are just 2 of the beaches (and the mountains) to see.
It's also great to see you visit other places you've been to (and those in your list you've yet to see), and not simply jumping into the usual tourist-vlogger spots ("because they must," particularly because you do have the time here than most on a short-stay visa). We're very happy seeing the kids have their first-time experiences, @wistlfamilyadventures-they've actually grown since you arrived and seem to have acclimatised-and having them on video for the YOLO posterity =D Travel safe as always!

So many Filipino mermaid movies were shot on location on those islands. You can go to La Union next about 4 hours away from manila. It's the siargao of luzon beautiful beach.
