I really like the way you present everything. It’s really good to see. One thing I need to know. I got an offer letter from University of Stuttgart. Will it be a wise decision to accept it since they currently have tuition fees? And is it manageable by doing part time jobs ? It would be a great favour if you have time to answer it. Thank you
Hi Katie 🥺✨ I have a big dilema. My university is offering a semester abroad either to : Stuttgart, Milan or Stockholm. Honestly, I feel very frustrated. The study programs are pretty good in every single one of them, but I still can seem to make up mind and pick one🥺 I'd love to read your opinion on the matter 🥺 it'll bey first experience living alone, and honestly, I'm a little nervous 🥺
Hi Liz! How exciting being offered so many choices! In my personal opinion, it doesn’t really matter where you study, so long as you know you’ll learn something from the experience and you’ll enjoy it. I deliberately went to Stuttgart because I study German - if you study something that these universities specialise in, consider that as an option. Studying abroad is one of the best experiences you can have! (I’m obviously biased towards uni Stuttgart but also consider these universities programs for study abroad students e.g. how they support you while you’re there, what scholarships they offer, and where you’ll live) Best of luck❤️
I feel emotionally low as I wasn't able to make good friends at the University in my first month due to the Pandemic. I have also been feeling very homesick,alone,left-out and unworthy lately. I don't how to cope with this. Can you suggest something?
I’m sorry the pandemic has made things so hard for you! I would reach out to the international centre and ask them about mental health support - when I was there they had counsellors they could connect you with and help you through difficult times. Otherwise I would recommended journalling to take the bad thoughts out of your head and put them on paper, and to maybe see if you can join a Facebook or WhatsApp group for your dorm or the exchange students near you. You’re not alone in this, you will make it through
