Got home at midnight from a flight last night, worked until 3 am, and woke up to continue working on this video at 8 am today!! Hope you like itttttt ❤❤❤ I know reveal videos are super fun where you just watch the result, but I ask you to please give a chance to the rest of the video! My editor and I spent ~35 hours trying to storytell the journey such that it can be inspiring and helpful to you. I include application tips (similar philosophies as when I applied to Caltech for undergrad) too! Thanks and so much loveeeee. This is my favorite and longest vlog yet. Comment your favorite part! 🧡

@@wamyy5 OOF cutting down words- YEAH THE STRUGGLE IS REAL 😅 thank you so much for sharing this journey Amy!! ik it was so much more than just an application, it brought you moments of important reflection and family bonding, and now you’ve come out of it stronger! & yes shout out to Shawn for his constant support! thank you for reminding us that it’s not the titles we’re fighting for to prove ourselves with bc it’s our actions and goals we work towards that matter~ + 很高兴你的家人那么supportive! 跟爸妈说 chinglish you so real for that 😂
It was painful to relive this, but I'm so so grateful I get to share this experience with you, my A-Team. I stopped vlogging like I did in my early YT days because I found it really hard to live my life and vlog at the same time, but I'm really glad I documented this journey. I'm actually happy though that I get to show you that everyone and anyone faces rejection. You are amazing because you're YOU. And no one can take that away from you. You know yourself best, so just keep growing and glowing 🧡✨
the EFFORT on this video is seriously unreal!! you are killing it!! "this will be part of an inspirational story" is such a powerful perspective. this is just the start and can't wait to see all that you do :)
Ahhh Jun, YOU are such an inspiration!! Thank you so much for being here and for your kind words and support. I’m grateful to have stumbled upon your page - people like you remind me we’re not alone in our mission of being a light in this world. Lmk if you’re ever in NY! :)
That means a lot, thank you! ❤️ Also, please watch the full video as it took 35 hours to edit and contains the valuable journey and advice :') Keep shining too!
I am so sorry about their decision. But as someone who is older and has gone through many disappointments, I strongly encourage you to take comfort from the fact that how you respond and react to these disappointments can fuel currently unimaginable future successes. Please take the time to process what happened and make a well-thought plan going forward. You are very bright and well-grounded, and you will overcome this temporary setback. You're still just at the start of life's journey, and the road ahead of you is long and winding, and I strongly suspect it will lead to many, many successes!
Amy is honestly and no doubt one of the best youtubers out there, especially when it comes to tips for school and stuff. You are so talented, and its a shame Harvard missed out on such a great and intelligent person like you to enroll in their college. I love how you are so hardworking and always go the extra mile for us. Your advice and tips have helped me alot and continue to do that. Thank you so so so much to you and your editor for making this video, i watched it all the way through and I agree, this is one of my favorite videos of yours. You are truly such an inspiration for me and so many other people here! Also you looked absolutely STUNNING in that dress! Your family is super supportive and I love that, they are so kind! Keep going Amy, never give up, you are so amazing, intelligent, and beautiful! ❤
Its literally their loss at this point 💀 LIKE YOU'RE THE MOST HARDWORKING PERSON I'VE EVER SEEN AMY!! Please dont be sad, okaaiii? :c.. (Sorry for any possible mistakes, English is not my first language)
@@wamyy5 HWAAAAAAAHHHHHH I'M NOT BELIEVING MY EYES RIGHT NOW- WAIT- WAIT- AMY?? WHAAAATTTT 😭😭😭😭😭 LOOK, NO NEED TO ANSWER THIS BUT YOU GOTTA KNOW THAT YOU'RE MY IDOLLLLLLL, I CAN'T EVEN STUDY WITHOUT WATCHING YOUR VIDEOS, GIRL!! YOU'RE THE OLDER SISTER THAT I ALWAYS NEEDED!! AND I'M PRETTY SURE THERE ARE LIKE THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE MORE LIKE MEEEEEEE!!!!! SO, when thinking bad about yourself or what did you do wrong (I'm sure it's just nothing!!) Don't just let those negative thoughts slide in, you are VERY important for many out there! Harvard might have those students who get really REALLY high grades but I doubt that all of those students are having that light inside them like you do, it's all about the potential and knowing how to make it shiiiiine~! 🌟 and I know that you do :3 💜 You can never give your all to something because there's always more in you than you think. I'm not the best one at giving advices but hey, I can't let that older sister downnnn! Love you Amyyy!! This feels sooo real. Thanks for showing this side of things too, Amy. Disappointment😔 is harsh and relatable but don't forget you're making astronomical impact. Keep doing what you do. We need it; we're here for it💙💙💙
Thank YOU Celina for watching! It was hard reliving this, but I made a commitment to show the process and result, and I'm happy that this story can help more people. Thank you so much 💙💙💙
It's okay, Amy! Don’t cry; there may be more opportunities for you that we aren’t aware of yet. You are a hardworking person, and I’m sure you can excel in anything you pursue. Perhaps you are just too good for them. I’ve been watching your videos for months, and they have inspired me a lot, especially other viewers as well thank you so much!
It's okay Amy! You are amazing at what you're currently doing. Please don't feel down about it, or resentful towards the process and school. Harvard is just not a good fit for you, it is very clear. Don't force it. Good will good come to you, just follow your own path ❤
Amy, you my inspiration. You the reason why i got my life in check and why I'm having an academic come back this year. Harvard is at a huge loss for not having you as one of its students. Your content enriches and gives hope to countless scholars around the world that the world is their oysters. My sincerest apologies on your rejection but just know, you've done something way much more bigger than going to the world's best university, you've a significant impact on the lives of countless people worldwide ❤
Just wanna say, I appreciate you making a video like this. Even though this wasn’t a “success” video, it really highlights your ability to deal with, and accept failure (which is important especially with school). We all know ego can get in the way of our decisions, but you’re not letting it get to you, which I greatly admire. Keep up the great work, and thank you as always for being a motivation for all of us :)
hey Amy! i usually don’t comment, but your video made me cry. Im currently applying for top colleges this fall and i can totally get what your feeling. you’re so inspirational and honestly having stellar parents that are as supportive as the ones you have is so helpful to cope with disappointment. keep it up and know that you’re enough, the most important is to live our lives at the fullest and make unforgettable memories with ur loved ones :)
Hey sis! I know everyone already empathisizing with you so much but I nearly cried like you when I got to know. All this feels like a scam at this point... I hope you find the peace that you deserve. And please cry if you want to... it feels good. WE LOVE YOU AMY! YOU GO GIRL!!!
you are so strong Amy ❤, I have recently faced a rejection from my uni literature club, and i was not expecting that because I have worked so hard for it for a year. Still feels unreal to me. Stay strong ❤. You deserve everything. Also I love your vids 😊
I know it’s harder to share this type of content. People usually share the good things in life, but it takes a lot of courage to share the ones that are not considered good. You would probably have posted it anyway, but thanks for keeping your promise and sharing it. I learned a lot from this
Hey Amy! 😊 It’s totally okay-we all know how amazing you are! 🌟 To me, as a student, you are really an inspiration. Wishing you the best in your future projects. I spent Saturday evening excitedly waiting for your new video! 🎥 Lots of love from Sri Lanka! ❤🇱🇰❤❤
Amy, we are all here to support you. Don't worry, sis. I am sure that many other people are lucky to have someone like you. FIGHTING !!!!!! I am sure you will achieve the best in your life... cheer up !!!!
It is great you are even considering such a competitive MBA school and program! I myself am at the weird crossroad for graduate schools and/or bschool apps...like even sitting for planning feels like a humongous task. And then this video popped up and offers such a nice and real overview. Please put out more videos like this apart from your regular study vids for older students and for ppl in jobs looking to pivot.
Don't give up Amy just keep going life is full of ups and downs it's ok to fall but its way more important that you shouldn't give up I'm also doing my best i just completed my 12th and i will keep going until I'm satisfied that this is it , anyways keep fighting take care bye.😊
Hey Amy! 💖 I just wanted to remind you how amazing you are and how you amaze us always with your videos. I know Harvard didn't work out this time, but honestly, their loss! 🌟 You've already inspired so many people (myself included) with your talent, hard work, and kindness. Rejection is just a tiny detour in the bigger picture, and I know this won’t stop you from reaching even bigger dreams! Take some time for yourself, do what makes you happy, and know that you have so many people cheering you on, no matter what! I’m here for you always, and I can't wait to see where your journey takes you next. 💫 You've got this! 💪💖You are my favorite creator !!! keep shining. you are too good for them dear. 你太棒了
ITS OKAY.... Always remember to go back and notice your efforts. It lies not in the results, but how much hard work you've done. As long as you felt that you did your best, that's really what matters.
It's simple-just don't quit, keep going. You motivated me and brought a change in my life. Thank you so much!!! Good people like you deserve much better in life. :) Stay strong and fly higher!!!
I promise there's something better waiting for you that'll make you forget this rejection, I admire you as my inspiration and you're the most hardworking person not only Me but the whole A-team have seen, take this as a sign from the universe that things are aligning for you ❤
Hey Amy, you probably won't even see this, but I just wanna let you know that compared to America, we don't have that much competition in Canada, and despite all of that, your love for your math and your own business shines through your acceptance into Caltech and your amazing RUclips Channel (which I am pretty sure deserves to have its own Netflix series). I know that you have already overcome such harsh challenges, and Amy being the Amy that I have observed in vids, will continue to go through this stage of rejection. I can't imagine being rejected from my aimed university, and here you are facing it. Not only do your vids show me the importance of persevering, but also positivity, and I rlly look forward to what you have in store for you! Wishing you luck!!!
I always wanted a mentor. I'm a very independent person, from early childhood. But I always wanted a "bigger older sister" (I have one which I LOVE, but we have different directions in life, which I am okay with), but you've helped me so much. I am so happy being able to say I found your channel. Thank you. (Also please be careful with the 20:28, I know you didn't say anything out loud, but you have blue light glasses, which reflect your screen, so you may want to look over that part and make sure it is not reflecting personal information!)
Im so sorry for you Amy ! But please remeber were always here for you just the same as you're always there for us ❤❤ sometimes things just dont go according to your plan and thats totally okay Thanks for being such an inspiration amy love you ❤❤

No matter what, you are always my role model!!! You have always encouraged me and i may be new to your channel, but I reallly cannot believe all you have achieved!!! I love you!!! I love your channel❤ do not waste your tears on one application...
I cried. and then your sister made me laugh. Amy (sighs) the truth is from my point of view (maybe it helps) it's all stupid. I'm from Argentina, here the best universities are public so we don't have that problem, we don't have to submit to other people's scrutiny and ruthless rejection. But I'm sure there are interests and politics involved. Don't feel bad, it really doesn't say anything about you, if it's any consolation, my boyfriend is a doctor in chemical engineering and he told me that MIT is the best of the best in the world. What matters is the quality of education and that you are happy learning. Hugs from a remote part of the world! 🥰
Ahhh omg I'm sorry my video made you cry!! But hahaha yeah my sister is such a goofball XD Wow, thanks for sharing about how it works in Argentina - there are surely pros and cons of each system. Whoa, I studied chemical engineering as well! Thank you for that reassurance. Sending hugs back!!
I feel like God led me to watch your video FIRST before anything else. I’m a freshman studying here in the Philippines. Yesterday, I was filled with so many “what ifs,” worrying about the future, how well I should do in school, and so on, and it really overwhelmed me last night. Then I came across your thumbnail-how blessed I am to have had you on my subscription list for so long. Because of this, I was able to recognize the strength that God has already placed within me, and I thank Him for your life. Thank you for sharing this with us; I know it takes a lot of courage to do something like this. I'm also glad you have Shawn there with you, supporting and caring for you. Finally, we both know that His timing is always perfect and that everything works for good for those who are called according to His purpose. ❤ Thank you again, Amy. God bless you in all your pursuits. ❤️ And for those who are reading this, you got this because God's got it! 🥰
This is so relatable ❤ Harvard was my dream school for as long as I can remember. My mom attended many top schools but Harvard was number one (she was there for grad however so no legacy for me.) I worked so hard throughout middle and high school and my reaction was the same as yours when I found out I was rejected. Especially when the people I knew who got in weren’t as good as me and hadn’t worked as hard as I had.
Thank you for sharing these rejections! It’s easy to feel discouraged when we only see a person’s successes, making it seem fairytale like. This is powerful and inspiring-reminding me that setbacks are part of the journey. Wishing you the best, Amy!
I love you all so much for your kind words of support and encouragement 🥹 I hope that if you’re ever experiencing rejection or some kind of setback, that you can come back to our amazing A-Team comment section to feel the love as I do 🧡
As you said, you should try creating on your own, doing innovative things that will pay off. 😉😇 We should stop being part of the system and demonstrating to someone that we're less; it's not right. (^^)d It will be sad at first, but we must keep fighting. The universe awaits something bigger than a university brand for us.😎p(^^)q
Hi Amy, I just feel like giving a hug to you. I cried every single moment in the Aftermath part. I think "No one has the right to even say to you it doesn't matter, you are great anyway". It meant to you so much, it is like grieving someone's death, since it is not an actual death, people can't understand the pain of it. obviously, you feel you should just go hard in again in whatever you do. I totally get it. most importantly seeing your journey here just made me realise how much I have been pushing me through. I just want to say one thing. Take some time for yourself, cry out loud, and face the emotions, it's ok to take a week or two of your entire life just for you.. say a proper goodbye to Harvard.. it ok... Sun will Shine again! My heartfelt appreciation for what you did and condolences for your loss. Please understand onething, some people need that School to be a better version, but you already have it in you, Maybe that's why you don't need it in your life. Take care. God will always be with you protecting and guiding you in every endeavour.
I see your dedication and effort, you really deserved this. But we know that life's not fair and we have to keep going even when life goes south is so sad cause you objectively deserved it!!
Amy I love you 💖 You helped me so much with my study and the realization of my dreams, thank you🫶 To me, you're worthy of Harvard, but I hope you remember that everything happens for the best, and it says that you will receive something better than being Harvard student. Life goes on🎶
This just gives me all the more reason to watch your videos because you have the heart to love yourself even more after facing a rejection. I recently did too, and it still breaks my heart when people ask me if i made it, and having to remember all the work and effort i exerted just to tell them no, is still too much for me. U're very inspirational and i 3> uuu
I appreciate your words so much - I am sorry to hear about your rejection, but I’m glad that I can share these real human struggles and we can connect this way. Sending you love ❤
Thank you so much for sharing this inspirational journey with us Amy!! And remember, just like you said, you must be confident in yourself because no one is allowed to judge you but yourself, you know yourself best and therefore please don't be too sad about this! Every rejection is an opportunity for a new journey ♡
23:15 you are so right Amy, i am applying for a really competitive business university and i was really nervous becuase i have so many goals and ambitions in the industry of business. But you got me realize that its really their lose and I will make it even though they reject me becuase I have that goal, that big why in me, vision that i can not explain by words. Thanks you Amy, you have already achieved a lot, i am rooting for you, best is yet to come
Amy I literally cried upon knowing the result but nonetheless I would say that you are one of the best content creaters I have known .you have inspired me to work harder and be resilient .Every video you semed like an elder sister helping the younger ones.Love you always and remember you inspire many of us .
I paused the video and I did a lot of reflecting and I think I felt you, especially when you said "this looks fake to me". I had a similar experience in the past where all the logic tells you that you're going to get that thing, but you don't. It must've been hard to relive this experience and feeling. Just know that you are a fantastic person and will achieve even greater things❤
Omg Amy you are so hardworking, intelligent, talented, and beautiful. Don’t let this bring you down. I’m sure you will persevere no matter where you go. I wish you amazing luck on your journey!! ✨❤️
Beautiful video. Thanks for sharing! Everything said at the end is completely valid. The process is hella subjective and is neither a reflection of you & your abilities nor is it a pre-requisite for a successful career/life. You seem to be doing pretty well without it and I’m sure you’ll continue to do so!
Wow. This is so beautiful. Thank you for sharing such raw emotions, Amy, it musy have taken a lot. I just wanted to say that you should never block out your own emotions, you were extremely upset with the rejection and you shouldn't have denied those emotions you had felt, always accept all emotions you feel. Smile and laugh when you feel joy and cry all you want when you're upset, it's nothing to be ashamed of. You deserve to cry and let out your emotions, it doesn't show weakness but rather it shows strength. It shows your strength and capability of confronting those negative feelings head on, it shows your strength in being able to accept yourself as a whole even when faced with disparities. Don't ever deny your own emotions, every emotion is there for a reason and feeling these emotions is a part of life and understanding yourself more. Feeling hurt from being rejected after pouring all those hours of work into the application process, pushing ahead even in times of exteme fatigue was inevitable. I can empathise with you and I know how excruciatingly painful that rejection was. I'm so proud of you Amy.
Amy you are an amazing person and I am not going to bored you but you are such an inspiration to me and you might wonder how are you an inspiration, you are kind in showing us viewers your struggles and you express you emotions while teaching us how to enter a top school and show us that you went into a great school by hard work, efficiency and having loved ones like Shawn. So Amy when you are down and under think of everything you have accomplished and your loved ones because they are the only ones that will pull you back up when your down.THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING AND PLEASE DON'T GIVE UP (YOU CAN DO THIS😉😊😋❤
amy try one more tym.....n don't worry it's there loss not yours....plz ur each and every subscriber will support you...plz don't quit.....plz.....lots of love❤❤❤
Don't worry amy, it is harvards loss indeed but we all know how talented and amazing person you are! I also learnt that the schools we go to dont really define us, and that everything happens for a reason.. maybe you will find out that reason soon~~ hats off for your hardwork and commitment of editingand making this video !!
Amy you are an amazing person. I've watched your journey so far, and I know you deserve any university you desire . This is Harvard's loss, they've lost an amazing person . I know you will keep perservering and have a great future. Keep going
I also applied to Harvard's Business School around three years ago. Trying to jar my memory on the stats a bit, at the time I had been working as a history teacher for around 3 years after my undergraduate program. I did a double major in Economics and History at the University of Florida during that time and graduated with a GPA of 3.9. Yeah. I got rejected- by miracle, I made it to the interview stage, but it didn't really pan out well :( This video resonates with me heavily because of that. I then went to Law School at UF's Levin College of Law, and I'm starting a financial analyst position paying decent money now- and the biggest lesson I learned from all this is that: STATE SCHOOLS ON TOP WOOOHOOO (In seriousness, I'm sure that you of all people hold the ability to make it big regardless- I remember doubting myself heavily after that rejection, but it's important to always remember the ever brighter future :3 )
Any school who gets you will be a lucky school btw a new subscriber helps me to focus and inspire (im currently going through an hopeless phase in high school ) thanks for everything Amy
u and Shawn look cute together and GIRL u slayed those wedding dresses we the A team are so proud of u keep pushing through it's not your fault like shawn said you will shine were ever u go their loss!
Don't worry Amyyy…You are already an Amazing person in this world…your worth is never defined by this result….you are too good for them. Wishing you all the best 🌟 You deserve more!
Amy, you are such a brilliant person, not only because of your achievements but also because of your mindset and the way you help others. I have been watching you for quite a while now, and you've helped me soo much❤ I can't believe harvard didn't take in someone like you. Dont let this affect you in any way because you are amazing brilliant and so so talented whether harvard takes you in or not. Them not accepting you has nothing to do with your brilliance, and its their loss. Keep shining and glowing❤❤❤
You did great, Amy! There might be more amazing things that await you and when that moment comes, that's the only time you would understand why things didn't go as you first wanted it to be. Also, I love how Shawn was always by your side and Angel was so funny. 😂🥰
hi! thank you for this video and the honesty! i was so worried about the end of the video! but i do hope that this results do not discourage you from doing bigger and cooler things! i kinda see this result as you being too good for harvard (the admission comittees sometimes are uninsightful like that and literally don't see what's in front of them).
the fact that even i cried after watching the part where you got rejected makes me wonder how sad it was for you. you deserve better than this, it is their loss amy. its okay keep going. fighting💗
The few ivy MBAs (only MBA, not the rest of ivy leaguers) I have the displeasure of meeting were massive BSers. People so far up their own buttholes they don't even realize it stinks in there anymore. I genuinely believe not being considered is a huge testament to your INTEGRITY.
Keep going❤ I am gonna cheer for you! You are smart! Your techniques work😢 not everyone gets into Harvard. As a person said what is meant for you stays with you!
Hi Amy, I’m 41 now but when I was applying to colleges at 18, and again when I was applying to competitive jobs at 21, I got so many rejections that I didn’t understand. At the time I was really devastated, but now that I have the benefit of long term perspective, I’m deeply grateful for path that led me to where I am today. Honestly what I’m proudest of is the fact that the rejections didn’t stop me from being successful anyway, I just took a different route. When we’re young we put so much weight on prestige and pedigree but as we get older we realize the institutions don’t mean as much as what people actually do with their lives. Lots of Harvard grads go on to work for people who went to state schools, and I’m sure many spend their lives feeling inadequate because they didn’t achieve the epic success that’s expected out of a Harvard grad. I’m at the point now where I’m actually more proud to talk about where I am despite the rejections I faced in my life, and my only regret is that I didn’t save all my rejection letters. If I had them i would frame them all and draw strength from them, as a reminder of how far I’ve come.
Hii Amy! I'm so sorry that you couldnt get into harvard, but i really wanted to say that, your tips have been so effective for me and they worked so well, i really hope that you get into your dream uni tho!!
Sorry to hear this news. I hope you find what you wish another way. Thanks for showing the journey in detail it will help others learn and gain insight. Though maybe like a seed growing out of the soil. It's goal is to grow straight up but when it doesn't achieve that goal because of stones or the soil being too hard. It just grows arounds it. It didn't fail in anyway. You are still successful because you are stronger and more experienced from yesterday. Also about you saying you followed all your logic to achieve what you wanted. Sometimes that might not work because sometimes there is some things you maybe fear or feel uncomfortable to do. And that tends to be put at the back of your mind outside logic into like a bias. Also some best decisions are made instinctually without logic. Not that you didn't try everything possible, it still could be more on Harvard's end. Anyway great video.
I truly understand how heartbreaking it is. I'm currently applying for graduate and internship roles. I had this great opportunity at one of the best banks in the world. I was even selected to interview. Out of 1000 applicants only 8 people got to interview. I nailed the interview but yeah... At the end they rejected me. I know how heartbreaking it is. But we can't give up just because we heared no
bro. Harvard should accept you just for the amazing effort you put into your videos. You work so freaking hard, don't give up! Even if you don't get the results you hoped for, the knowledge you learnt on the way wasn't useless, it helped you get better! And I believe you will become EXTREMELY successful in the future, it really is their loss. We're all rooting for you!
Got home at midnight from a flight last night, worked until 3 am, and woke up to continue working on this video at 8 am today!! Hope you like itttttt ❤❤❤
I know reveal videos are super fun where you just watch the result, but I ask you to please give a chance to the rest of the video! My editor and I spent ~35 hours trying to storytell the journey such that it can be inspiring and helpful to you. That means a lot, thank you! ❤️ Also, please watch the full video as it took 35 hours to edit and contains the valuable journey and advice :')
Keep shining too!
@@wamyy5 definitely! 💯❤️💗
So well said.
I appreciate your words of wisdom a lot, David. I totally agree! Thanks for your kind words. Wishing you all the best!!
@@wamyy5 Thank you for the kind words! I look forward to celebrating your future successes with you! ; )
Its literally their loss at this point 💀
LIKE YOU'RE THE MOST HARDWORKING PERSON I'VE EVER SEEN AMY!! Please dont be sad, okaaiii? :c..
(Sorry for any possible mistakes, English is not my first language)
Exactly 💯
Hiii! Ah thanks for your sweet words and enthusiasm. Your energy made me smile 🥹 and your English is great - don’t worry about it!!
@@wamyy5 HWAAAAAAAHHHHHH I'M NOT BELIEVING MY EYES RIGHT NOW-
WAIT- WAIT- AMY??
SO,
when thinking bad about yourself or what did you do wrong (I'm sure it's just nothing!!) Don't just let those negative thoughts slide in, you are VERY important for many out there! Harvard might have those students who get really REALLY high grades but I doubt that all of those students are having that light inside them like you do, it's all about the potential and knowing how to make it shiiiiine~! 🌟 and I know that you do :3 💜
You can never give your all to something because there's always more in you than you think. I'm not the best one at giving advices but hey, I can't let that older sister downnnn! Love you Amyyy!! Please take care and feel proud of yourself like you never did before, you deserved it. ʚ♡⃛ɞ(ू•ᴗ•ू❁)
(Non-important Note: I don't really use that 💜 purple Heart emoji to everyone, I only do that to people I really care about :3 just so you know!!)
Ahhhh I appreciate it so much!! Your positivity is amazing 💜 💜 💜
I'm sorry Amy, pls do not cry. Maybe, you should try Columbia.
Thank you :') I did apply to Columbia and also got in through their deferred program in 2021!

Thank you so much 💙💙💙
I am confident that better things await you somewhere else
keep looking forward, don't ever question yourself about what you did wrong. You did nothing wrong. Thanks for sharing with us :)
I appreciate that! Glad I can share with you :)
Thank you very much
if she doesn’t get into harvard, i don’t think anyone can
I appreciate that! There is luck involved XD
Yeah, how much more me😂
You’ll be fine Amy, life’s a journey. This rejection will only make you stronger. Head up and keep working hard.
Indeed - onward and upward! Thank you very much for your kindness!
Amy back at it again to motivate us! 💪🏻💪🏻
Drop a Like for my sister’s ability to cheer me up 😂❤ 27:17
you are so strong Amy ❤, I have recently faced a rejection from my uni literature club, and i was not expecting that because I have worked so hard for it for a year. Still feels unreal to me.
Stay strong ❤. You deserve everything. Also I love your vids 😊
🤍🤍
Is your sister looking at Grad School?
That could be an interesting series of videos.
And Amy Congratulations on MIT.
I know it’s harder to share this type of content. People usually share the good things in life, but it takes a lot of courage to share the ones that are not considered good. You would probably have posted it anyway, but thanks for keeping your promise and sharing it. I learned a lot from this
My favorite part is you are not giving up on your self... Keep going Amy ❤
You as well
@wamyy5 🫀✨
We are all so proud of you and inspired by you nevertheless!!! Keep going, Amy, and never lose your determination and proactive growth mindset 🌱
Hey Amy! 😊 It’s totally okay-we all know how amazing you are! 🌟 To me, as a student, you are really an inspiration. Wishing you the best in your future projects. I spent Saturday evening excitedly waiting for your new video! 🎥 Lots of love from Sri Lanka! ❤🇱🇰❤❤
Amy my sis it's ok to fail, it is part of life and a lesson for us at somepoint in our journey. I trust you and I'm proud of you ❤
Amy, we are all here to support you.
Don't give up Amy just keep going life is full of ups and downs it's ok to fall but its way more important that you shouldn't give up
I'm also doing my best i just completed my 12th and i will keep going until I'm satisfied that this is it , anyways keep fighting take care bye.😊
你太棒了
You are great, no matter who rejects you. Love your videos, you are my favorite educational content creator.
Nooo the comments spolied mee 😭 but keep going ! You are so creative and gifted ! Any school would be extremely lucky to have you !!!❤❤❤❤
ITS OKAY.... Always remember to go back and notice your efforts. It lies not in the results, but how much hard work you've done. As long as you felt that you did your best, that's really what matters.
I agree! Hard work pays off, even if the outcome isn’t what you expected. Thank you!
But please remeber were always here for you just the same as you're always there for us ❤❤ sometimes things just dont go according to your plan and thats totally okay
Thanks for being such an inspiration amy love you ❤❤
AMY YOU'RE LITERALLY MY MOTIVATION I'M GOING INTO HS SOON AND I SWEAR I'VE WATCHED EVERY ONE OF YOUR VIDEOS AND IT ALWAYS HELPS ME SO MUCH!! YOU ARE AN AMAZING PERSON AND YOUR CONTENT IS TOP TIER KEEP GOING YOU GOT THIS!! YOU HAVE 522K PEOPLE ROOTING FOR YOU!!! you're lowkey such a hard-working person and tbh Harvard really had to be going through smth to say no to you cuz they lost a gem... YOU GOT THIS!!! KEEP GOING AND DON'T QUIT!!! love you girl
And for those who are reading this, you got this because God's got it! 🥰
It's okay girly❤ Don't be sad. Life is full of opportunities. You're gonna find amazing things in the future!!
Love you❤
This is so relatable ❤ Harvard was my dream school for as long as I can remember. My mom attended many top schools but Harvard was number one (she was there for grad however so no legacy for me.) I worked so hard throughout middle and high school and my reaction was the same as yours when I found out I was rejected. Especially when the people I knew who got in weren’t as good as me and hadn’t worked as hard as I had.
you're still the best amy!!! and no one can change that!
Aw thank you!!
Thank you for sharing these rejections! It’s easy to feel discouraged when we only see a person’s successes, making it seem fairytale like. This is powerful and inspiring-reminding me that setbacks are part of the journey. Wishing you the best, Amy!
please Amy don't cry!! When you evaluate your Stanford rejection, I saw tears in your eyes😢
I appreciate the vulnerability and authenticity of this, Amy. Keep moving forward. Thank you for this content. On to the next! 🙌🏽
Don't be discouraged, I am proud of the effort you have made. You are my source of pride.❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks! It is a bummer sometimes, but yes, we've just gotta keep pushing forward!
Oh sis don't quit !! You have achieved a lot through out your journey and you will go further .... you are my inspiration
Thanks you Amy, you have already achieved a lot, i am rooting for you, best is yet to come
Amy I literally cried upon knowing the result but nonetheless I would say that you are one of the best content creaters I have known .you have inspired me to work harder and be resilient .Every video you semed like an elder sister helping the younger ones.Love you always and remember you inspire many of us .
your dedication and effort on the application submission is tremendous and I'm sure you got better things on the way. as Shawn said 'it's their loss'
Everyone pretend like perfect.I love that you don't just show the best.❤Don't give up.u deserve more. ☺
Much love ❤ Life is not perfect!
Don't lose hope wamy 😢We all are with you 😊 Be strong try another move like columbia University
So Amy when you are down and under think of everything you have accomplished and your loved ones because they are the only ones that will pull you back up when your down.THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING AND PLEASE DON'T GIVE UP (YOU CAN DO THIS😉😊😋❤
every cloud has a silver lining Amy, God knows why he did it, just don't give up!
Don't be sad you are the best student and its their lose ❤

I then went to Law School at UF's Levin College of Law, and I'm starting a financial analyst position paying decent money now- and the biggest lesson I learned from all this is that:
STATE SCHOOLS ON TOP WOOOHOOO
(In seriousness, I'm sure that you of all people hold the ability to make it big regardless- I remember doubting myself heavily after that rejection, but it's important to always remember the ever brighter future :3 )
Your hardwork will payoff soon!! The only thing you need to do is to not stop quitting! I love your vids
siss harvard lost its opportunity to have a slay student like yaaaaa, don't worry about it , YOU WILL ACHEIVE GREATNESS "ALL HAIL AMYYYYY"
Any school who gets you will be a lucky school
btw a new subscriber helps me to focus and inspire (im currently going through an hopeless phase in high school )
thanks for everything Amy
u and Shawn look cute together and GIRL u slayed those wedding dresses we the A team are so proud of u keep pushing through it's not your fault like shawn said you will shine were ever u go their loss!
Please don’t feel bad be optimistic always as you are and please don’t stop posting videos
We're here for you Amy you deserve great things dont be disappointed in yourself AT ALL ♥️
amy your videos are so heart touching i teared up while watching it. i love your videos so much, you isnpire me so much.
Don't worry Amyyy…You are already an Amazing person in this world…your worth is never defined by this result….you are too good for them. Wishing you all the best 🌟 You deserve more!
You are a really Great person.
Don't let college decisions define you.
Stay happy!!!
We love you Amy ❤❤ it's Harvard's loss you're the most brilliant person I've ever seen in my whole life ❤
hi! thank you for this video and the honesty!
i was so worried about the end of the video! but i do hope that this results do not discourage you from doing bigger and cooler things!
i kinda see this result as you being too good for harvard (the admission comittees sometimes are uninsightful like that and literally don't see what's in front of them).
the fact that even i cried after watching the part where you got rejected makes me wonder how sad it was for you. you deserve better than this, it is their loss amy. its okay keep going.
It's ok Amy, you are amazing 💜💜
