Honestly I would love for them to make more Kozmo cards, a good one would be to combine The actual Wizard of Oz himself with Emperor Palpatine, Maybe call it Kozmo Emerald Emperor.
Kozmo has always been one of my ABSOLUTE favorite archetypes just because I love the influences and visual designs, as well as the spirit of goofiness! I feel like there's a lot of potential for more cards, such as the Anakin (and now Rey) equivalents of Farmgirl, as well as just... more everything? It's so cool
17:59 If this archetype ever gets support again, one that does them justice, I hope they get a card support that encourages you to run a Lightsword at least as a 1 off and for its effect
Something like... "Kozmo High Ground", Activate only if you control no monsters, special summon two level 4 kozmo monsters from your deck, one on each field, and a graveyard effect that searches you lightsword Could be a nice playmaker and a free search on turn 2 if not stopped
Not my original comment but expresses why Kozmojo and Kozmourning are my favorite references. Dark Lady: Good witch never told you what happened to your Mother. Farmgirl: She told me enough! She told me you killed her! Dark Lady: No. I am your Mother*... Farmgirl: NOOO!!!!!
Another tech card I love playing in kozmos is storm dragon's return. It let's me resummon my ships after they've banished themselves and since they go back to my hand at the end phase I can get their on summon effects again and again. My favorite target for this is dark destroyer.
If you're wanting tuners I feel like Visas Starfrost would be a good companion. You can destroy your ships and it's weirdly synergistic thematically as well.
An archetype that's a fusion of Star Wars and the Wizard of Oz.....I love this card game!!! As for the deck itself I'm really curious in play testing this cause it sounds pretty interesting.
How about a black hole? Since it’s Yu-Gi-Oh, it won’t erase you or stretch you out, instead it takes you to another dimension! Or, in this case, a place depicted in a Field Spell.
I love this Archetype! I'm a huge Star wars geek, and I love how this archetype references it. Not to mention, it feels good yelling "Unlimited power!!!" when I use Raigeki/Lightning storm in this deck. Which brings the question: Kozmoll Wizard Emperor (combination of Wizard and Emperor) when Konami?
My favorite reference is the Dark Lady, although I don’t get the extra ll in “Kozmoll”. Btw when you said “tag out at will” it made me think of the Emperor saying “Tag out at will, Commander!”
I literally just made this deck for my cousin who plays Yugioh casually with his family. Trying to see if I can sucker them into playing with my group. He love Star Wars, and I was shocked he didn't know about this archetype. I really hope this archetype gets support soon. It needs a bit more variety for it's plays and ways to get more monsters on field and cards in hand faster.
25:30 ive always wanted a new Psychic boss monster (Maybe a link or xyz or something) based off the emperor and the wizard called Kozmos Emerald Emporer
Man, I'm actually bummed I wasn't playing Yugioh when this archetype was still around. Star Wars: The Girl Wars is such a fun concept. New support would be excellent....I just hope they don't hate it out again like they did the last time it was relevant I wonder if the new Gold Pride cards could help it, what with how they care about having lower life points
Honestly if there’s any deck I wanna see support for it’s this deck. Am I the only one who want to see a clone wars set of monsters. Imagine an arc trooper pilot
You know, I am surprised The Kozmo archetype so far lacks a "Han Solo" or "Emperor Palpatine" reference considering we got almost all the original trilogy cast referenced in the archetype..... YOU COULD ARGUE we also lack a "Princess Leia" reference but I am sure Farmgirl is a fusion of Leia and Luke ALSO Surprised we lack reference to the Ruby Slippers (or Silver Shoes, if the archetype is more focused on referencing the original books) or even the reveal of the Wizard of Oz in the archetype
A rather popular "Emperor Palpatine" pick had suggested an amalgamation of him and Oz The Great and Powerful. Though, personally, I think that amalgamating Palpatine and The Nome King might be better for role consistency. But I honestly don't know. For anything else, I think that an amalgamation of Yoda and Book!Glinda may be possible. And maybe an amalgamation of Betsy from Tik-Tok of Oz (not to be confused with the social media app), and possibly either of Rey from Disney's sequel trilogy or either of Jaina Solo or Ben Skywalker from Legends. (Kylo Ren doesn't exist in Legends. And what would otherwise be Kylo Ren's role in Legends is pretty much filled by Jacen Solo, who later became Darth Caedus. Just including this tidbit for clarification.)
I just bought some kozmo cards. I'm not the hugest star wars fans but for some reason the artwork and the specially the playstyle totally speak to me. Let's see if I can make it work :)
No, its yugioh thats never true. Just find cards that combo with your requirements. I personally have made a busted version of the deck that I'm kinda scared to put out, everyone will get it nerfed lol. I'll tell you if you wanna know tho it isn't that expensive to make and im just gonna use it to climb ladder so its no secret
Another weird card you can put in, is small world, because, as stated on the beginning, kozmos have 2 different attributes and types on any combination, while also some levels have 2 different types and/or attributes.
Kozmo is such a cool concept at heart, I'd never have thought about Oz and Star wars being so cool when put together, or even putting them together at all. It's so very "Yu-Gi-Oh" and is a great example of a reason why we love this game so much. It's way too cool to not love it.
0:27 O M G XD Is it weird that I feel like I KNOW the Kozmo story even when it’s not being published like Sky Striker is? (ongoing currently) Probably because I know enough of Oz and Star Wars
The Kozmos are a wonderful archetype because they really don't need much to get going, and can function almost exclusively within the archetype. The only thing they fear are Banish prevention, and early-game negation before they can get going. They were the first archetype I started building and playing without any outside help (my first exposure to YGO was Legacy of the Duelist: Link Evolution on the PS4), and can still give my much more seasoned friend's better decks some trouble. Sure, they're not Meta, but they're still dangerous if the opponent isn't ready for them. Edit: Scaredy Lion bringing Banished Kozmos into the Graveyard is actually quite useful for keeping up the threat of Dark Eclipser or Dark Planet. If they reach the field without anything in the graveyard, they can't block traps or spells, so it can be useful to send the less versatile monsters into the GY to give them ammunition.
The best way to make the Kozmo Dark Planet playable is having x3 copies of it, so you would basically play Dark Planet for "free" by pitching one Dark Planet for another (similar to how you can pitch one Toon BLS to summon one in Toon Decks). In addition, having Card of the Soul makes it even more consistent to grab a Kozmo Dark Planet from the Deck.
The one thing I really like about Kozmo is unless you make it, the deck doesn't need too much combo. Also the smart combinations from both Wizard of Oz and Star Wars.
If they can summon more pilots and space ships in 1 turn, maybe they can be better. They need good recyclers too because every time you tag-out, in both of turn, it drains their resources soo much. . If I'm not mistaken Dark Lady, Dark Eclipser, and Dark Planet aren't once per turn, or they just soft OPT. I used 2 Dark Lady in MD once, and both of them can use their negate.
Strawman and Soartroopers are also soft OPT. The only hard OPT effect of Kozmos are most ships and the banish to special summon a higher Kozmo monster on the pilots.
Only learned about this deck from the Celebrity Tournament series where Darth Vader uses and Goddamn if I ever start playing YuGIOh this is exactly the archetype I'll run Maybe with a couple old school anime favorites from Duel Monsters proper
Generation Ship ? Destroy Dark destroyer to add a another Dark Destroyer from your Deck. Then activate the effect of the destroyed Dark Destroyer for special summon a Kozmo 1-7 from your deck.
I really don't get the complaints around dark planet. All you have to do is banish two ships from your hand and you're good to go. Is that really that hard?
Extra cards for Kozmo: Allure of Darkness, cost is inexistent with the Field and Strawman Dark Hole, Old But good Back to the Front/Call of the Haunted, to bring back ships sent with Tincan (Back for the body, Call to chain it, since the ship is destroyed, it will trigger (correct me if I'm wrong)) Virus cards (Deck Dev and Eradicator), Even if they don't trigger the ships, the control is a reward on its own For extra, I can only say Cyber Dragon Infinity and Constellar Pleiades It truly depends if you want to play with Extravagance or with a Control Extra Deck
God I hated this Archetype at the time. At least up until D/D/Ds and Cubics came into Focus! Those cards really kneecapped this Archetype since I wouldn’t have to worry about Either of the Dark Ships since they couldn’t kill the D/D/D bosses or the Nova the Crimson Cubic Lord! Qlis also didn’t stand a chance either. 😂

I’ve been saving up Kozmo cards for a couple of years, and with this video, I’m finally going to make the deck tonight! Thank you!
..... And done! This video was super helpful in making this finally happen 😂 Thanks again!
Another Fun Fact about this Archetype is that the Artwork for the Kozmo Cards was done by Genzalo Ordeñez Arias/ Genzoman on DeviantArt
Not my original comment but expresses why Kozmojo and Kozmourning are my favorite references.
Dark Lady: Good witch never told you what happened to your Mother.
Farmgirl: She told me enough! She told me you killed her!

Given that Kozmo seems to primarily take from the original trilogy, I think Goodwitch is supposed to be Obi-Wan Kenobi.
Goodwitch can be seen as Obi-Wan Kenobi Qui-Gon Jinn or Yoda
That’s not Kansas, Dorothy. It’s a space station.

Ah Kozmo, an archetype that was crafted somewhere over a rainbow that’s far far away.
Kozmos also work pretty well with Metalfoes. The pendulums can trigger the ships and Kozmotown, and Sliprider can trigger Metalfoes Combination.
I was gonna mention that. I played them on Master Duel and they’re really cool together
