You've got a great eye, Jake. That heartbreaker looked just like the dead leaves that surrounded it. Can't believe you spotted that. I couldn't even see it until you picked it up. And then that white one up on the bank that you spotted through a gap in that root ball....holy cow dude! Well done. Loved that little two-tone guy at the very end. Great video, really enjoyed!

Really focused finds Jake. Blood ,sweat , tears. That's what it takes.

It does take dedication, especially with the heat we have had this summer. Gotta keep on keeping on.

Good to see a fellow Mo. hunter finding. I am still looking at the same rocks I seen last March in the creeks LOL. Only way to find here is to dig right now. Cool finds thanks for sharing.

It's been hard hunting lately with the heat and all. the ground is so dry around here that its hard to get a shovel into the ground.

That first one was a hammerstone, not grinding stone.
They put the divot on the big ones for better grip. The big ones slip out of your hand easily.

There's lots of speculation surrounding them, but I look at them as a multi tool. I see evidence of it being a grinding stone and a hammer stone.

Can't beat that feeling of....this artifacts waited 100's if not 1000's of years for me touch it...hard not to feel unworthy sometimes. But grateful for the blessings. I'm just the caretaker till it passes along again. Stay cool guys l8r

Good on you sir....the creek hunting has slowed tremendously since we've gotten no rain. I've recently came across a spring that runs all year...I want to go dig it this weekend....would you recommend that I start digging just above it or around the spring? I've yet to dig anywhere but inside caves!

Nice recoveries. Was that first whole point a stone square stem?

Thanks. I'm not sure on the type exactly. I was thinking it could be a kramer, but your guess is a good as mine.
