Marilu Henner, best known as a Broadway, TV, and film actress, is also a full-time mom and author of two New York Times best-selling books, Marilu Henner's Total Health Makeover and Healthy Life Kitchen as well as The 30-Day Total Health Makeover, Healthy Holidays, and I Refuse to Raise a Brat. For 20 years she has championed a vigorous, healthy lifestyle and has inspired countless friends and readers along the way. Henner started her professional career staring in the first national touring company of Grease, later appearing with the Broadway company. This was followed by Over Here, Pal Joey, and later in Social Security directed by Mike Nichols. She went on to appear on the TV shows Taxi and Evening Shade, side by side with some of the most talented actors around. She eventually became the executive producer and host of her own talk show, The Marilu Show. Bringing her message of good health and vibrant living to new and growing audiences, Henner premiered a new television series, Shape Up Your Life, on Discovery's FitTV network.
