on opening kit the most important thing to consider is the thinkness of the paint... on test fit could be all perfect, but after painting nothing matches.
In my case i don’t realy preffer it. But thats just it. A personal prefference. Though sometimes it can help. As the bond in the long term is stronger. Lets say on a part that needs a bit of pressure to be held in place
can someone explain why he's using a marker then sanding it off again before he paints. wanna get back into modell making with painting. never got my thumb out of my ass to paint my previous ones XD
Hi, I painted mine with Gravity colours - Lambo Arancio Argos. It came out not bad but not the best either. I wonder if you can do a review of Gravity Paints?
All your builds are great and have learned a lot over the years. I have always wondered why you apply several coats of primer. It does not add to the adhesion of paint, a single coat would do that. Just curious not a criticism. Thanks
I'm sorry if this has been asked before, but I notice you spray with the needle cap (I think that's what it is called) off the airbrush. Does this have any advantages or make a difference to the result? I have learned a lot from these videos - thank you for posting them.
Sooo... I hope you did use as color for the body a nice yellow or a dangerous green. Thas for me the only colors for a Lamborghini. Please use yellow!!!!!!
I get quite intimidated when watching the skills on show on these video's. But I content myself with the old adage "Where you are now, I will be, and where I am now you once were". And in tiny increments each kit I build is just that tiny bit better than the one before.
I love the voice overs. They reallly help.
Pocher kits are all functional and uually metal body with plastic interior, they add ometimes leather too, they cost no cheap but they're the best!
Good call, Aoshima's door mechanism is horrible. I ended up gluing mine in after I was done because they would never close right or kept falling off.
Justin Hart so as fujimi’s. I am currently building a countach from fujimi, and after not so much opening of the door, it broke 🤦🏿♂️

I love your builds and have been watching for years, however I think it would be better with 3 videos a week. Keep up the good work
And even better with 4 right? Keep in mind that i also have to work in order to make money😋
The Scalemodeling Channel I understand! I remember watching a video saying you quit your job
That was a year ago. Did not work out as i pretty much got no support. Well see what can be done this year
The Hobby Design kit for this kit is superb, and the grills are a lot better than the horrible Aoshima kit grills.
Mooie kit Tom ik heb deze ook nog op de stapel liggen , ben benieuwd naar de update,s succes
Just wondering: why glue the body parts with superglue in stead of plastic cement? I always thought the cement would make a stronger bond ....?
Takes ages to actualy dry. And it not able to fill gaps and panel lines cleanly without having the gleu plastic mix squeeze through
The Scalemodeling Channel I see.... but then I’m a bit lost as to when the Tamiya liquid cement (quick dry) still is preferred over the superglue...?
In my case i don’t realy preffer it. But thats just it. A personal prefference.

build fujimi rx7 fd3s , with wing and black hood
Has anyone got any recommendations for brush painting and how to get a nice finish

To visualise the moldlines so i can see ahen they are removed
Hi, roughly how many bottles of zeropaints paint do you need to complete one model?
0,25
just got this kit was going to glue my doors shut as well
I'm with you on the opening doors. Extremely fiddly and never line up right.

Already did. It works exactly the same as zero

Thanks
To ensure even coverage mainly. It's better to apply several thin coats than one thick coat to prevent running or sagging.
And to get an even color
Also acts a micro-filler

Paint builds up on that crown, and it will splatter, so i don't use the crown. as far as i am aware its just there to protect the leedle tip
Thanks! I have the same type of airbrush and do indeed get splatters now and again.

Sorry man. Its already painted. And not in yellow or green
Oh ...
Matthias Notzke I agree always yellow for a Lamborghini
No thanks. I think that I will stick to model raillroading. I am not taleted enough to do one of these.
