The patches work as good as Bazooka Joe bubble gum. Especially good idea to clean with rubbing alcohol then wipe your oily finger in the glue. Brilliant. Now show how to fix a seam leak ad probably 90% of leaks are in the seam.
I just bought this product. I am waiting the 24hrs and will advise you tube about the results. Tube tape was a joke. Epoxy didn’t hold up. Other glues failed too. I hope this works
This may be late but, do the same process but just use the glue to stick the seam together, and use a light clamp to hold it for 24h. Key to success is clean rubber, vinyl, pvc when you glue it together.
KTM_TIM... I used a lighter to bind it ha it’s lasted to this day about a year or two. idk how full proof it is in other’s situations but I mean if it comes down to It why not
@@linkzyofficial if it works, then it sounds like the proper way to me. Ther is more than one proper way to most things, I'll have to try melting it together too, see if I have some luck as well.
Do those get holes? Isn't the cover supposed to protect from like 99% of holes? I'm confused why spend 3 times more for a tube with a cover if it will get a hole just like the one without a cover. (If you don't care for the towability of it ofc)
Why do you use real heavy patches in this video yet include what I call "scoth tape" type patches with the towable? Used first time and a slit appeared. Patch never held. Got a real patch from the campers next to us and then another slit appeared 6 inches away from the first. I love the warranty too. Nothing is covered. $150 is a lot of money to some and now I am buying a real patch kit too.
The patches never work, its just a joke. Especially at the seams where it will be more of a stress crack lol. These instructions focused on how to open the patch kit.
there’s a textured side and an untextured side to the patch. is it that hard to put a mention to which side to use? yall literally say nothing anywhere
Textured or smooth side of the patch???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? What a joke!

One year later........ did it work?
@@RotaryCrossType7 - He is probably still busy trying other glues.

I’m Dunn waiting..
Cure time is 24hrs and the advise to add a weight over the area while curing.
Daniel Swift What were your results?
Ya buddy what's up? Are you at the bottom of the lake or wat?
He never made it back........
@@RotaryCrossType7 hate that. Poor guy and he typed as if he has 14 kids too. Poor kids and his wife. Hope they're going to be okay. :)
This video was helpful, thanks! Any advice on repairing a net that is sometimes attached to the bottom of river floating tubes?
How do you patch a rip in a seam? I have a small 1/4" rip in my backrest seam and the backrest bladders are out of stock until next spring!!

Should the glue be sticky after 48hrs?
I’m trying to repair the cover, how can I repair the cover to an airhead Mach two?
Seam rips can by handled with A HEAT GUN or food seal machine
Which side to you place the glue on?
Textured side down. The texture will help hold as much glue as possible to have a better seal without spilling everything when pressed down.
@@DafneTheHedgehog221thank you
No mention of cure time for this product?
24h

I agree! Which side of the patch do you place the glue on?
Me too!! The box says nothing about which side. So I looked for a video. It also says nothing about which side of the patch to put the glue on!
Literally why i came to watch a video this guy just made me feel like im stupid. 🙄
I used the smooth side and it's held up great so far. Not sure if that is correct or not but holding as of now.

You missed how to identify the hole. Useless video cannot get past first stage
Soapy water and you'll find the hole where the bubbles start

This stuff is junk. Especially since its always tye seams. This is cheap.
