I'm not so sure. He's a prodigy but the level of competition is way higher now and cubing is still growing. There were times when Feliks' average was like a second faster than anyone else.

Yeah it was the fastest solve which had the timer stop fail, and then the 5.5 which wouldn’t of made the average much better

cuz he's forced to practice by his parents, just like others force to learn musical instruments or sports, the only difference is that he cubes
Do we actually have any proof he's forced to solve, or the extent of purported forcing? I hear this repeated everywhere but I've never seen a shred of evidence.
@@flashraylaser157 you can even find Yiheng's former teacher on Bilibili. Also, a decent amount of Chinese cubers who met them at competitions saw how his mom deal with him. She never admitted any of them but there are really a lot of things she and some other cuber parents did that were just holding them back and made them nervous. Imagine cubing with this kind of parents, will you believe he cubes just because he likes to?

@@flashraylaser157 if you really want proof, there are some small ones: go to yiheng's channel on youtube and watch the sub-4 singles reconstructions, if you can understand chinese (hope you can read chinese) or even if you don't you can hear that every time he got a sub-4 single his mom rarely praises him but rather tell him to reconstruct immediately so that she could upload the videos, that attitude doesn't really appear if a parent doesn't care about their kids' level
