Don't let the air force see this video. That kid will be flying tankers in the future up in the sky. To cool in refilling. Great job Mike in showing it up close and personal. 💜💜💜
Mike, This refilling on the go is the coolest thing I’ve seen all year. That young man is contributing to the farm in a measurable way. He is increasing the number of acres planted per day. Can’t beat that for productivity !!!
Why in the world would someone give you death threats over a farming channel? Unbelievable! Keep the great videos coming, Mike. I really enjoy them. I have family in Darke County. One of my favorite places in the country.
Your opening comments made me chuckle about some of the ignorance that's out there. It reminded me of something my father always said when i was growing up. "Better to be thought of a fool; than open your mouth and remove all doubt". Thanks for another great video Mike.
I enjoyed watching the refiling how awesome is that great idea. It reminded me of refueling jets. Sorry about some crazy death threat. We love you mike keep up the great work and god bless and protect you and your family.
Hi Mike, Thank you for making these great videos that shows how farming is done differently from place to place and farm to farm. It is very educational and just interesting to see 🙂 Keep up and stay healthy ! - Michael from Denmark
Mike Less you're the man. It's interesting how they fill the starter fertilizer on the go. I bet 20 inch rows keep the weeds down and hold in the moisture .
Hi from Australia, Mike . That was a very interesting video and I like the idea of filling up the liquid fertilizer on the go it would certainly save a lot of time. That young man in the Gator was a good operator. Have a good day mate.
Mike, excellent vid as usual. Regarding rude/ignorant/threatening comments...Sir Winston Churchill opined: Better to keep one's mouth shut and thought a fool than open it and remove all doubt! You do you, Mike! It's your YT channel...
Learn more everyday from the farmhand Mike guy.If new technology works for you then let it roll.Refill on the fly has worked for the military for years.Try a death threat on them and see where it gets you.Good job and keep it up. God bless you all!
Hey Mike, come over to the land of Aus once in a while, we’ve got plenty of droughts here and we could use you!! Love your videos, regards from Down Under.
Neat set up, they really could have used a little rain, seeing them moving down the road likens to up here in Maine with some of the potato planters, and harvesters moving around, when they come to some of the work sites I flag at really gets interesting as far as space is concerned, a lot of the boys are good at threading the needle though. Double D.
That reverse maneuver over the bridge was a little confusing for a second. Then a geometry. Bridge + electric pole = turning radius. The disc scrapers were unfortunatly headache inducing. Good video.
I remember the earlier video on this system and and am stunned that it drew negative comments. This reloading on the go system could be a massive time saver. For the two row planters I grew up using, no. But for a 36 row planter, it makes a lot of sense. If you can add 30-60 minutes of planting time per day, that is a lot of acreage with a 36 row. Why has this system not become more widespread? I have a brother farming a few miles east of this farm, and I know his grandsons would LOVE to drive that Gator.
As for your videos I personally think they are all great and really enjoy watching them. You're the only channel in the USA that I subscribe to, as you have the biggest assortment of videos I find worth watching. I think that 'set up' of re-filling 'on the go' is most unusual and perhaps something we will see more of in the future, - after all someone has to be first, and then others follow, - that's how all things start. As for those threats, - all I can say is there are some very sick minds out their and they're just insignificant little nobodies, and the only way they can have their 1 minute of fame is to do or say something like that. All that said and done, - Greetings from the UK.
Great video Mike. That was a rather young tender operator they had there. Is he the one you mentioned had a youtube channel a couple years ago? First thing I thought was "someone was in the Air Force refueling jets in the air!! Good point about the negative comments. Keep 'em coming!!
They got that ideal from the military air to air refueling. When he is connected to the planter is the gator being pulled by the planter? I wonder did they do any spraying before planting? A lot of weeds…
Pretty neat setup for filling on the go ! Seems like it would be a pain on short rows but on long rows it would be excellent. Obviously it pays off or the operation wouldn't be using it. Sorry about dumb people leaving nasty comments it takes all kinds ! I personally don't always agree with some of what I see from the farming channels on RUclips but I keep an open mind. No need to discourage others or be an ass. Keep up the good work!
go visit the welkers they are needing rain bad wish you could have show it better how the turbo till was doing could not see it for the dust cloud and the speed the drone was going poor planter needed some lube of some kind
When I mow the lawn I only carry 2 gallons of gas on board so I make my wife come out with a jug and fill the tank on the go. It works good because I don't have to stop for fuel.
I absolutely LOVE the 8RX. One of the, if not THE best looking tractor out there, especially with the inbuilt saddle tanks. Unsurprisingly it is my favorite tractor in FS22, which as a German is probably also the closest I will ever be to one of these things. XD Question: Is there a reason they are planting at 20 inch spacing? Everywhere else they seem to plant at 30 inches. This high pitched screeching was annowing as hell tho. I get thats the machinery, and short of either muting the sound or putting music over it there's nothing you can really do, but it quickly gave me a murderous headache.
I agree the 8RX is a neat looking tractor. I've never drove one personally but I'm sure I will one of these days. I know the squealing was annoying but I really can't win. People get on me for using music cause they want to hear the machinery and then some machines make a terrible noise and people want music. I did use both in this video. At least the guy in the tractor can't hear the disk scrapers on the planter.
@@farmhandmike don't worry Mike, it was still a good video with great shots. It's something with my ears, I can't handle loud noises like that without getting a headache. I still enjoyed the video regardless.😁
I think Ohio Flying Farmer on RUclips would get a kick out of that setup though I think his tanker is a little bigger. Though that bearing sounds nearly as bad as my sister's wheelbarrow and about like my knees when I stand or walk
G'day Mike. I enjoy all your videos. It's winter down here of course, so it's nice to see what's going on in warmer parts:) I know nothing about drones- or phones for that matter. When you're out filming miles from anywhere do you need a cable to physically connect your phone to your controller? Jay.
Don't let the air force see this video. That kid will be flying tankers in the future up in the sky. To cool in refilling. Great job Mike in showing it up close and personal. 💜💜💜
Probably where he got the idea.
The driver in the gater is definitely listening to highway to the danger zone
Mike,
This refilling on the go is the coolest thing I’ve seen all year. That young man is contributing to the farm in a measurable way. He is increasing the number of acres planted per day. Can’t beat that for productivity !!!
I agree, very clever actually, must be a good relief to not have to stop when the fert is out and the seeds are not :)

I love to see young kids helping on the farm. As soon as I was able to reach the pedals I was driving tractors & trucks on our farm in the late 1950s.
love that connection for filling the fert tank and the young feller in the little truck has his job down pat thumbs up
I enjoyed watching the refiling how awesome is that great idea. It reminded me of refueling jets. Sorry about some crazy death threat. We love you mike keep up the great work and god bless and protect you and your family.
The tender truck and gooseneck seed tender is pretty cool.
What a great invention! Loved the accuracy of the gator driver too.
won't be long and that young man will be running the planter. Good to see kids starting young and learning skills.
Reminds me of refueling aircraft in flight in the military. Great ingenuity.
Wow farmer version of inflight refueling. I think it is really cool
I think that is a great idea!!!😮 Looks simple easy.. load as you go.
Hi Mike,
Thank you for making these great videos that shows how farming is done differently from place to place and farm to farm. It is very educational and just interesting to see 🙂 Keep up and stay healthy ! - Michael from Denmark
Mike Less you're the man.
It's interesting how they fill the starter fertilizer on the go.
I bet 20 inch rows keep the weeds down and hold in the moisture .
I think this is cool, keeps you moving as much as possible without stopping. Time is money while planting.
Hi from Australia, Mike . That was a very interesting video and I like the idea of filling up the liquid fertilizer on the go it would certainly save a lot of time. That young man in the Gator was a good operator. Have a good day mate.

Wonderful videos thank you Mike Less
Hi from New Zealand, quality video and always interesting. Thanks Mike.
Awesome video footage Mike! Always interesting to see how everyone does things differently depending on their needs and operation. Very cool!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸

Great video! Thanks for sharing. I bet the kid running the gator is having a blast!
There's no time to waste...😉
Nice technique!
Thanks a lot for the video! 😊👍🏻
Watching from the UK 🏴🇬🇧✌️
If only you could visit Larson Farms and Millenial Farmer to dry out their fields and bring the moisture to Welker Farms and Mike Mitchell (CA).
Soren, i watch all those channels too !!!
Definitely Mike his fields are like dunes
Watching your videos Mike from Argentina. There are multiple ways of farming, we all have to be open minded and learn from other perspectives.
Very cool! Man it takes some power to pull a 40 foot high speed disk!
Your videos are always top notch especially the way you explain everything in detail keep the videos coming in
Sweet tractor & planter. Nothing runs like a Deere. If it ain't green... It ain't mean!!!
That's a pretty slick way of refilling nitrogen on the run never seen that before but if he invented that that is a heck of an invention
Great vídeo Mike.
I think all your videos are extremely cool keep up the good work
Cool set and execution. Reminded me of a ship refueling at sea
Hey Mike, come over to the land of Aus once in a while, we’ve got plenty of droughts here and we could use you!! Love your videos, regards from Down Under.
Awesome equipment Mike. Another great video as well!!
Very smart idea !
That’s a cool setup! Never seen this before
You don't see that every day😉👍 cool to see how they fill the fertilizer tank on the go👍😁
That refilling with the Gator is very cool! 👍👍

Man that’s cool, never seen that before. Also that turbo max and choir track is booking
It's pretty freaking cool. Reminds me of inflight refueling
I like watching Mike less videos on RUclips from the imperial co California.
Enjoy all your videos
Wow that’s cool I’ve never seen that before.
Great video that was a great idea like you said it might work for some people not for other Mike keep up the good work,
An unique way to top up the fertilizer. Love your videos Mike. Ignore the haters.
Happy Father's Day Mike!
Great video Mike! Thats an awesome set up.
Ha! I was thinking about refilling on the go recently and wondered when someone would develop it!
Great video FarmHand cool operation 🚜

Hey Mike it's like the mud air fueling great video buddy 👍 👏

Mid-air refueling in the corn patch. Farmers scare me sometimes. hahahahaha 😁
It’s like top gun man!
That is so cool
That's super cool!
That is cool!!!

They got that ideal from the military air to air refueling. When he is connected to the planter is the gator being pulled by the planter? I wonder did they do any spraying before planting? A lot of weeds…
Hi mike just subscribed been watching for long time you are a good hand and very smart charlie

Nah, you don't get the handle of Dark Cloud - yet! Great job on the videos, thanks.
That is actually pretty damn cool
The welkers really could use some rain. Maybe you need to go visit them.
A little grease never hurt
Never never pay attention to the stupid comments.
Very cool
If you ever find your self close to welkers IV got a versitile sx280 equiped with weed-it really neat machine
That's cool.
Ignorant comments on social media? Nooooo!
You can’t fix stupid.
I hope you reported the death threat, that is a crime.
Keep doing what you do.
That John Deere Gator is one versatile piece of equipment. Lol
go visit the welkers they are needing rain bad wish you could have show it better how the turbo till was doing could not see it for the dust cloud and the speed the drone was going poor planter needed some lube of some kind
Thats pretty cool
"Can't be harder that filling the fertilizer on the seeder back home" - said Luke, call sign "Skywalker"
I have heard people love the fender tanks on the 8Rs, but their only complaint is that the visibility to the rear-sides has been cut down.
Wow, cool
holy setup
Sounds like Shelby Montana needs a visit from farmhand Mike 👍
thats neat and good thinking I would have not thuoght of it.
It's just like having a grain cart during harvest keeps the equipment moving
Mike your drone has a terrible squeak.
When I mow the lawn I only carry 2 gallons of gas on board so I make my wife come out with a jug and fill the tank on the go. It works good because I don't have to stop for fuel.
You already know that I like Mike. I always put in my like 👍. Thanks for sharing again. Happy subscriber 😊. Just wish my would higher than 546.

Some people need to get a life. They have a great idea that works for them, may not work everywhere. Great job Mike
I think Ohio Flying Farmer on RUclips would get a kick out of that setup though I think his tanker is a little bigger. Though that bearing sounds nearly as bad as my sister's wheelbarrow and about like my knees when I stand or walk
Mike you needed to get @Ohio Flying Farmer down there with you to have him review there refueling on the go.
G'day Mike. I enjoy all your videos. It's winter down here of course, so it's nice to see what's going on in warmer parts:) I know nothing about drones- or phones for that matter. Hi Mike great show what is causing all that sqealing from the planter is the ground too hard?
It’s the scrapers rubbing the seed opener disks Steel on steel
