Thanks for taking the time to reply, your feedback and comments are appreciated in order for my channel to grow and succeed. I agree, this system is more durable and more pleasing to look at :)
That's neat. I'm looking into top down camera setups. I might start with a cheap desk clamp arm and then go from there. We have drop down ceilings in our one room so I'm not sure how to make that work.
It really wasn't too much work, so worth it for "A" roll, I have more 2 sections now, for sewing and cooking, makes life so much easier. Thanks for the comment and watch :)
Not with this particular rail unless it was a light and cord, then you could mount it into the rail or use and extension cord and light. OR....buy track light rail where the electric is built in. Hope that helps, if not, ask away :)
I am find a tracking which can hold 5.5 kg projector screen and can allow more screws hold the thing on the wooden ceiling. It is first time I see kind of system. Is it strong enough to hold things like 5.5 kg ? thanks for your sharing. Really appreicate it .
The rail comes in different sizes like 1”,2” and more. I am certain it will hold it because they use it for conveyors and tables. When you order the load capacity should be in the specifications of the listing.

I'm curious as to why you chose this setup over using a C stand. Seems like a lot of adjustments with a fixed rail system and is limited to only 1 room.
My B-roll is on a stand (and I hate it, I trip over it all the time and it takes up space). I do almost all my videos in this room and I have 2 more ceiling rails, one over the woodstove and one over the sewing table. It's so easy and affordable, I can do it myself. It's the best investment for me. Thanks for commenting, I appreciate the feedback.
