Apart from the biff what I miss most is the muddy fields. I loved playing on them when I was a kid. Great fun, it's a shame kids today don't get to experience the fun of it.
Les Boyd ended up playing for Warrington after being banned in Australia. They deserved each other as Warrington had some wrong uns such as Alan Rathbone who was banged up for drug dealing.
Nowadays the bunker would catch them and you would be off for months for stomping. Boyed was such a dimwitted lout he would probably only play a handful of games in a season.
