  • I am finally onto the electrical systems! In this video we get the Shore Power installed, build the sidewall boxout to house the electrical systems, install the AIMS Inverter/ Charger, and wire the AC outlets.     I have a regular renogy 2000 watt inverter without charging I guess. Wondering how or what to wire the shore power to so it will charge my batteries while plugged into shore power.

      Yeah, I looked into that a bit as well. I almost built mine in parts so that I wouldn't be totally out if the unit malfunctioned at some point. Basically, you just need a battery charger and the shore connection. The shore connection will connect to the charger, and the charger will connect to the battery bank. If you want to run all the onboard electrical off the shore connection when its connected it may get more complicated though. You may need a transfer switch to divert the power.
