when I'm not on the water I'm watching your guys vids just enough to keep me sane till I'm out next. thank you guys the content is always through the roof.
🎣Great camera and editing work. The in boat, to underwater, to overhead drone shots, amazing. Makes catching tiny brookies behind Ken's farm pale in comparison to those huge lake trout. That Mercury outboard looks like it could power an ocean liner.🚢👀
i live in the south, so our trout fishing is for the most part limited to streams and rivers. However, I enjoy watching you catch the big lake trout. Looks like fun and thanks for posting. subscribed!
Awesome video man! Cool to see you get out this early! I’m waiting for Saxon harbor to open so I can get the boat at the dock and get out on the magnificent Lake Superior! Hope to see you out in the apostles this summer!
Our lake trout on lake Michigan off of Indiana just went out to deep water our jigging season is over 😢we got them from Dec till early April cool vid 🐟😁
What underwater camera system do you guys use? You guys are getting some pretty awesome shots! Keep it up, still trying to hone in these Alaskan lake trout.!
Funny.. Been watching you for awhile now on RUclips & your friend Eric T at work tonight just told me "follow my buddy on RUclips"... and long behold its you! I just transferred to Thunder Bay & work with Eric - we're gonna get out fishing soon although we work complete opposites from one another, but either way were gonna make it work! Cheers brother - Keep givin'r out there & stay safe
I'm gonna be on lake superior visiting for the first time in early June. I would love to do some fishing but it seems pretty daunting trying to fish such a large body of water. That time of year would there be any chance of having success shore fishing? I'll also have a kayak idk if taking that out would improve my chances any?
Some lakes they are. On Lake Superior, when water is under 40 degrees, 97% of the fish are deep. Sure you could troll shallow and catch a few, but most are over 80 feet. On inland lakes, yes you can find quite a few shallow fish in the spring.
Man I did my first Lake Trout jigging with a guide last year in Lake Michigan. Let's say I'm hooked. Most fun you can have with your clothes on!
Agreed. 100%.
thanks for releasing the big girl you will be remembered for future generations
I miss the Great Lakes Michigan breed retired to east tn
Appreciate the comment!! Thanks for watching!

I’m new to lake trout… I thought they were more shallow in spring?!

What depths are you usually jigging in for spring and early summer Lakers on the north shore?
70-120 is your best bet!
@@SuperiorAngling sweeet. Thanks! I'm excited to get out in some open water laker action. Been a long winter in the BWCA...
@@SuperiorAngling I’m new to lake trout fishing but I read that they were more shallow in spring? I guess not
where did u launch from n when did u go?
What are your boat specs ?
What net are you using? Thanks
RS Nets - They changed ownership last year. Unsure of the new owners and if they changed anything but the nets are/were good.
