Hey there, Ramu Ramu! RUclips has recently upgraded their strictness level for comments to combat spam and harassment so it may have been flagged as inappropriate. I got this one though.
PHP is PHP and of course, is working in shared hosting. It needs a tiny modification of rewriting rules and everything is working perfectly fine. At least in my experience in Laravel, I hosted many projects to shared hosting in CPanel and Plesk to different hosts.
Hey there Kyriakos Dimitrios. Thanks for watching. Welcome to the channel! 😎 It is of course possible but when I've used it in the past with Laravel, I had issues with servers being down sometimes 5-6 times a day. It's great you've had a better experience!
@@DesignatedCoder Yes this depends on how many requests you've got at the same time and with how many others is the company sharing the resources of the server since it's shared hosting. However, this can happen also to other kinds of hosts depending on the resources that you are renting and the popularity and of course the target group of your website. eg if it's a site for a local business that it's targeting a small area then shared hosting is enough. If a business or the organization is bigger so it can support a much wider target group so also the requests and the traffic will be higher of course we need better hosting. and this is the Magic of PHP. You can start from a small cheap hosting and you can scale as much as you want or it needs. With other backend languages, an expensive host is mandatory even for a portfolio site
I use "cloudways". I'm really happy with them. Its easy to use and not really expensive. Uploading laravel is realy easy with them. (Not sponsered by the way) Just want to give people another option.
Hey there Dutch Online Trading. Thanks for watching. Welcome to the channel! 😎 Yes Cloudways is also an excellent option and I'm glad you're happy with them. Thanks for contributing that as another alternative.
Hey there @ZiPMo85. Thanks for watching. Welcome to the channel! 😎 Great question! I've not use it so I don't really have an opinion. Serverless is something I haven't had a chance to explore and not really sure if it's something I'd use. It would take some research on pros and cons and maybe I'll look into it and revisit this idea. Thanks for that.
