Founded in January 2018 following a trip to Singapore organised by CITIA and the French Embassy in Singapore, the Paris-Lyon-Singapore project aims to promote the know-how of animation school students around the world.
The partnership, established between two renowned French schools-École Émile Cohl (Lyon) and Atelier de Sèvres (Paris)-the French Embassy in Singapore and CITIA, promotes cultural and educational exchanges within the framework of training in animation professions at an international level.
Each year, animation schools challenge students to make an animated film of around one minute on a given theme. Presented at the MIFA Campus of the Annecy International Animated Film Festival, the films are judged and selected with the aim of being distributed internationally.
