Do you realize that more than network tv, cable, streaming, and any other video on youtube........I look forward to your submissions the most. And it isn't even close. Thankyou for all you share! I, selfishly, hope that you never finish.
I would have to agree with @clinthildebrand8684... I have been watching your videos since the beginning (although I binge watched some of your earlier videos). I like your honest and simple approach to the renovation and I look forward to many more videos. The latch on the door is "priceless".....
I AGREE, AN "OUT HOUSE" IS HISTORY. IT'S A SHAME IT IS BEING REMOVED 😢 BUT, THEN AGAIN, IF IT WASN'T THAT, YOU WOULD HAVE TO PUT A WOOD COOKING STOVE IN THE KITCHEN WITH AN OLD FASHIONED SINK, ICE BOX, ETC. 😂 WE CAN'T KEEP IT ALL AND THIS ISN'T A MUSEUM....IT'S YOUR HOME! I'VE SO ENJOYED 😊😊ALL YOUR WORK. SUCH TALENT IS RARE. GOD BLESS AND KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK...❤❤❤❤
The outhouse lid would make a good flower box. You could build a base that could house three big flower pots and park it by the deck for some spring color. The project is coming along nicely. The idea for tucking the fridge in is a great. Best regards to all of you!
My Grandma had an outhouse in the back corner of her yard when I was a kid. We didn’t use it as far as I remember, but there was always a bag of lime sitting in the corner with an old coffee can scoop inside. Ahhh memories… 🍀
I think those hostas are magnificent! At the U of M they had a bank of hostas under an oak tree. They used different colors to make it look like green waves of water. Extraordinary!
Nothing makes my Saturday morning better than waking up to a new video from yourselves 😁😍 (UK here). Lovely to see you have fun with your family on your trip 😊 Poop Parrot 😂😂 awesome 👍 It is shaping up wonderfully and at the right pace for you. As another favourite RUclipsr says 'Slowly. Slowly' Take care until I see you again 😊
Nice to see you making progress. Renos are always slower than we like, and YES you have to keep time for family and yourself, just to keep sanity and balance. Enjoy seeing the house move forward.
Sarah's nickname should be, "Stickum." She's the glue that holds everything together and I mean everything! As for the 3-hole outhouse seat, put a frame around it and then one photo of an old outhouse in each pooper hole. And then mount it next to the storage door where screens, storms, etc. will go. It will honor the old outhouse. Loved the family outing.
Make a cool bench for the porch using that as the back support. Momma, daddy, and kid-sized holes! What a fun conversation piece. Sand it down and either use the clear linseed oil or the linseed oil paint.
Everything looks so good and I hope the fridge fits just right. I love the poop parrot too. 🦜 The poop seat could become a three porthole window on something someday, maybe with coloured glass. 😃 Sarah, that is a tough task up on a ladder and working upwards! Family photo on the porch deserves a frame. 😊
Nice to see you again … And that turned out really good. I hope your fridge does fit that hole. Fridges take up a LOT of unusable floor space unless they are built in. Plus they often need air around them to function. I’d put some ventilation or netted opening to the next storage space. Might keep frost and damp out for whatever you store there during winter as the fridge produces heat
Right after WWII there were lots of woodcarving happening, I don't know if soldiers were doing it during slow times, but a veteran that worked with my dad, also a veteran, took my mom's kitchen cutting board and carved and pinup girl on one side, you know the sexy woman wrapped in a towel/piano scarf wearing high heels type of thing. Makes me wonder if the poop parrot is a similar work of art done by a previous homeowner. The three-seater makes me think there were lots of kids in that house, adults might not want poopin partners, but kids wouldn't mind. Edit: The opening drone scenes -- BEAUTIFUL!
I just love that old handle, the inside homemade mechanism is a real tribute to the “use what ya got and figure it out” way of life. I’m guessing the previous owners felt the same about it, so cool it’s survived all this time. The parrot though, what a find, wonder how old it is? Love that fridge too, another great find!
If the current fridge does not fit then the second fridge you plan to buy put there. Instead of a standard fridge door buy one that has the option to put panels to match kitchen cupboards. Then you can build custom panels for it to make it look like an old ice box, an old style cupboard, etc. Literally, those doors coud be any theme that matches the kitchen and home. I hope this idea helps. Thank you for the wonderful videos.
What a wonderful surprise to see you posted a video. Sarah does a great job keeping up with the painting. It makes a big difference when something is painted. Glad you were able to get away.
Love your videos and the progress you are making on your home. If you keep the peacock you found in the outhouse you need to give him some brilliant colors! I like my privacy when I have to go. No way for a three hole seat !
I notice stuff like that too. We lived in this one apartment that was built in the 80s and most of the walls were not plumb. Several of the sockets didn't work either. I checked with everyone else in the building and their's were the same way.
You're home and property is so nice, you've put so much elbow grease into it and love. As the drone was passing through I noticed many Hallmark card moments. As nostalgic as the 3 seater was it was better to see IT go lol. My grandparents had an outhouse with 3 seats too, ick.
So lovely. The hostas. Your trip. Your lovely wife and children. The storage room and your Poop Parrot. I like the idea of using the outhouse seat as a frame for different pictures of outhouse doors. Or using the seat board as a bean bag game. All 😎 COOL Blessings on you, your loved ones, and on your homestead! 💞🐑🦌👍😎🦖📚🧚♀️🐈⬛🎃🖖
"I love my poop parrot". LOL I was noticing that one of the holes was smaller. Maybe that was for the children? potty training? Outhouse area lookin! awesome!!
Lovely to see your sister again. I hope they are doing grand. I'd be using that 3 hole frame as a photo frame😂! Hoping the fridge fits🤞🙏💝. PS. Loved the photograph of the children in the back of the car...Lily's ears are a bit alarming though eh!🤣💝
The outhouse bench could be reused as a bench for the porch. Clean, sand, varnish it well, make three rounds to underfit the seats and make three outdoor circular cushions for seats...........or use it for a planter which could hold clay pots or the like and herbs for Sarshar's cooking could be planted. I would no way in heck get rid of that. It is iconic and historic. I am sure there was a lot of reading or contemplation done there. I am so serious. Wished I lived closer, I'd do it for you! Love all you are doing. God bless..............have a great week!
You never cease to amaze me, silk purse out of a sow's ear. Your attention to detail has always impressed me. That's going to be a great pantry corner. Suggestion: May be clean up "Poop Parrot", give him some colorful paint, weather proof him and hang him on the original Out House Door. Isn't there where he belongs. Would like nice to see him when you have your morning coffee and enjoying that beautiful porch. Just a thought!
My father always noticed and was driven crazy by anything crooked! He was always straightening pictures, floor mats, everything 😂🤣😂. I always think of him and sometimes straighten (when they’re in my own home). 😂❤️from Australia 🇦🇺.
Smart use of the old outhouse space. (Probably the reason for the three seats was they had more kids running around back then. I come from a large family. While one sister put on make up and fixed her hair, one was taking a shower, and one could be on the toilet. There were boundaries but no unnecessary privacy. 😆 I should mention my mother grew up with that type of outhouse and hated it. We take for granted the little luxuries. 😊)
I was at a museum in LaGrange, KY. They had a 6 seater for an outhouse mounted on the wall. Yes, they used it as wall art! It was great because it led to some interesting conversations about it being that big and how big the outhouse would have had to be. Interesting fact about your seater is the fact that it has a 'smaller hole' close to the house side. That was for the kids so that they wouldn't fall into the pit. Another interesting fact is that the outhouses were also used for their garbage and there are people who love to dig out old outhouses to see what treasures are within it.
I have never seen the Adirondacks, your sister has the life with all the animals and the hot tub. Love what you are doing in your kitchen. You all will be done in no time, really, it just seems like forever when you are in the middle of it.
Really enjoyed the video. The kiddos are really growing, and I loved the Parrot and the old door latch plus the three holer with the smaller hole for kiddos. We had a two holer at our old country store here in Oklahoma years ago. lol
GREAT video guys!! Tje kidd are getting so big. Poly the crap outa the outhouse board, reinforece it from underneath, make some legs & use it as a pot holder on the porch. Also just so you know those parrots were used to scrape out the openings of the outhouse holes when they backed up... JOKING😂😂😂 or am I😂😂 Hoping all is well guys, Dirty Jersey out!!!
The place is beautiful in the fall !😂 the family trip was so awesome thanks for sharing it with us ! And the fridge recessed is a great idea ! You all have came a very long way , I remember when thete were no floors lol ! Its just so nice to watch your family grow and reach your dreams 😍👭👭
The outhouse was an interesting show and tell, but finding a more modern use for the space make a deal more sense than hanging onto the past. It is not the first time that I have seen one of those sort of multi-tenant versions, one 'opportunity' appeared to be considerably smaller than the others, I guess that was child sized, but was use a communal affair? The door lock did speak of a time when materials were scarce. Did the house fall on such hard times that a lock had to be made that way? I agree that it was ingenious, but there are limits. Your new use and construction makes way more sense for current times and your family needs.
I think you should build a stand alone outhouse replica and put the 3 seater board inside. You could use it in an emergency/SHTF situation where there is no power to pump water. It would be better than squatting behind a bush or something. LOL We had an outhouse at the place I grew up. It was a 3 seater, also with 2 larger holes and one smaller. There were times when we had problems with our well pump and were without water for several days, so we used the outhouse.
I would put the 3 hole board on the wall above the door to the old outhouse and make a sign out of it, maybe draw eyes and nose on each hole with the holes as mouths or something silly like folk art, and maybe add a reference to the outhouse.😮 😂
you can really tell the experience and comfort of what youre doing. shifting that wall so it wasnt slanted might have been a big mental exercise when you 1st started and now its easy peasy! (or atleast thats how it looked and how i would have felt. Just goes to show that nothing is impossible when your remodeling, just gotta think it through and have faith in the process.
Well done! I love seeing all the changes and how you are progressing. Personally I'm always worried about good insulation so I'm happy to hear it mentioned a lot in this video.
You could make use of the old toilet seat/s by making a door with the seat above it. That way you get to show it off as long as you disinfect it and repaint it. I noticed that there was mam, dad and toddler holes for the family.
@9:17 But in the wintertime, if you can get get the middle hole, and have two warm bodies on either side, much better than a cold single person unit... LOL
You should make poop parrot merch! 😂 You know Id think the 3 holes are for a party of three, I think they are just 3 size holes cuz one size doesn't fit all! Little people to the right, etc.
The holes had curtains between them in some places. My grandparents had a 2 holer with 2 doors and a wall in between, girls on one side and boys on the other.
Can you put extra fridge in outhouse opening if one on porch doesn’t fit there? Love your video and your amazing family. Get buttoned up outside cause winters coming.🥴
Perhaps the three holes in the out house were so that you could use them alternately so as to even out the waste piles???? Also… Are the holes different sizes? One might be for a child and another hole for an adult.

The project is coming along nicely. The idea for tucking the fridge in is a great.
Best regards to all of you!
I like the fact that the holes are different sizes.🤣
My Grandma had an outhouse in the back corner of her yard when I was a kid.
We didn’t use it as far as I remember, but there was always a bag of lime sitting in the corner with an old coffee can scoop inside.
Ahhh memories… 🍀
Beautiful Hostas. It was swell to see your sister again and all your family together. Your workmanship is excellent.
I think those hostas are magnificent! At the U of M they had a bank of hostas under an oak tree. They used different colors to make it look like green waves of water. Extraordinary!

Poop Parrot 😂😂 awesome 👍
It is shaping up wonderfully and at the right pace for you. As another favourite RUclipsr says 'Slowly. Slowly'
Take care until I see you again 😊
Keep the Parrot and the outhouse seat. Make a bean bag toss game called, “Pauley’s Parrot Poop Shoot” with varying points awarded for each hole!
Nice to see you making progress. Renos are always slower than we like, and YES you have to keep time for family and yourself, just to keep sanity and balance. Enjoy seeing the house move forward.
So good to have slow time with the family 🥰 and who wouldn’t love holding a soft baby bunny - therapeutic 😊 Thanks family have a great week.

NOTHING quite as beautiful as the Northeast in autuum. Thank you for sharing.

Sarah, that is a tough task up on a ladder and working upwards! Family photo on the porch deserves a frame. 😊
I love your unhurried style. It fits the building. The suspense on the fridge is almost too much...hahaha. Nice job
Welcome back I have always loved your videos. Your
work is outstanding..
Nice to see you again … And that turned out really good. I hope your fridge does fit that hole. Fridges take up a LOT of unusable floor space unless they are built in. this is a good comment . that extra space around the refrigerator, especially the back, is important
Love you dry sense of humor....you Crack me up. I always enjoy your videos.......❤ hugs

What a wonderful surprise to see you posted a video. Sarah does a great job keeping up with the painting. It makes a big difference when something is painted. Glad you were able to get away.
Keep the 3 holes for some sort of bathroom decoration.😀

The toilet seats could be A wall art family photo display.
You can't have history without memories. I love the parrot.
Love the family pics!❤

Lol! We had outhouses up until I was 15 yrs old, 2 seaters, so my little sister and I would take turns watching for spiders and snakes!
Great video! I so enjoyed it. Take care and be blessed.😊

Make a small table of the 3 holed slab of wood and use it as a low table putting potted plants in each hole and use it either for the deck or inside .
My father always noticed and was driven crazy by anything crooked! He was always straightening pictures, floor mats, everything 😂🤣😂. I always think of him and sometimes straighten (when they’re in my own home). 😂❤️from Australia 🇦🇺.
Brilliant transformation!
I think Jase has grown the most! Great photos with the bunnies!
Your sister rocks. Never a lazy day on the farm. So glad you took us with.
you play the best music out of all the videos I watch.
You can use the three hole piece of wood as a frame for each of the hammers you’ve found inside the walls. Put it on the side of your power shed.
Smart use of the old outhouse space.
(Probably the reason for the three seats was they had more kids running around back then. I come from a large family. I do like the Quiff Tail!!
Really enjoyed the video. The kiddos are really growing, and I loved the Parrot and the old door latch plus the three holer with the smaller hole for kiddos. We had a two holer at our old country store here in Oklahoma years ago. lol
Love that latch!

Beautiful family photos and memories ❤❤
Your home is amazing 😮
You could turn the bench into a picture frame. One hole for each kid 😊
GREAT video guys!! Tje kidd are getting so big. Poly the crap outa the outhouse board, reinforece it from underneath, make some legs & use it as a pot holder on the porch. New video! Hooray! Thank you!
Use 3 holer as a frame and put pics of outhouse in it and either display it or hide it in a wall.
Thanks for filming Lucas. 😁👍🏼

Great job on that new room ❤the old door❤
My brother in law took his 2 hole outhouse seat and made a sign for his house out of it. ( or maybe some “ friends “ did) the two hole ranch.
Thank you for the update I really appreciated it.
Thanks for the video.
A place to store the storm windows is a good Idea
I think you should build a stand alone outhouse replica and put the 3 seater board inside. You could use it in an emergency/SHTF situation where there is no power to pump water. It would be better than squatting behind a bush or something. LOL
We had an outhouse at the place I grew up. It was a 3 seater, also with 2 larger holes and one smaller. There were times when we had problems with our well pump and were without water for several days, so we used the outhouse.
Great job as usual you could use the out house seat as part of the wall lining in the storage area.
The renovation is looking so good!😍
@1806StoneHouse- you do?
I would put the 3 hole board on the wall above the door to the old outhouse and make a sign out of it, maybe draw eyes and nose on each hole with the holes as mouths or something silly like folk art, and maybe add a reference to the outhouse.😮 😂

Yes, definitely a lot more comfortable with stuff!! Still worrying my butt off tho.. ha!!
🤣🤣😃. I like the poop parrot!!
Well done! I love seeing all the changes and how you are progressing. Personally I'm always worried about good insulation so I'm happy to hear it mentioned a lot in this video.
Woww that was a big accomplishment... great video ❤
so jealous! I want a poop parrot too!!!
Love the fridge!
You could make use of the old toilet seat/s by making a door with the seat above it. That way you get to show it off as long as you disinfect it and repaint it. I noticed that there was mam, dad and toddler holes for the family.
Something just can't be changed, like the old door latch as it is history.
Wow your kids are getting so big
🤣🤣🤣 "the bean bags could be brown" 🤣🤣🤣 LOVE This idea!
Beautiful intro!
thanx
💞
@9:17 But in the wintertime, if you can get get the middle hole, and have two warm bodies on either side, much better than a cold single person unit... LOL

You're been busy.😀
Funny that's exactly what I thought too, a bean bag toss game lol
The holes had curtains between them in some places. My grandparents had a 2 holer with 2 doors and a wall in between, girls on one side and boys on the other.
Open gate farm ❤ 📫
Rebuild the out house some place else, maybe barn or basment.
Can you put extra fridge in outhouse opening if one on porch doesn’t fit there? Love your video and your amazing family. Get buttoned up outside cause winters coming.🥴
Dude...7:48...that haircut!
💕💕🎶🎶
How about using the three holes to make the small door? You could make them into windows. Just a thought!
Perhaps the three holes in the out house were so that you could use them alternately so as to even out the waste piles???? Also… Are the holes different sizes? One might be for a child and another hole for an adult.
