I’m pretty sure what Ashley is going through with her hair is trichotillomania, a mental disorder where you get relief and satisfaction through pulling your own hair when under severe emotional stress, I’ve suffered the same thing for two years and have relapsed a few times, it’s genuinely addictive when you have nothing to decompress the emotional stresses of life but it comes at bad price, damaging the hair roots to the point where there is no bulb at the end of it, and having a negative self-image of yourself because nearly everyone loves to have hair, but hates themselves when they’re the cause of having no hair when you’re constantly shaving it off because some areas are extremely noticeable it looks like as if you’re balding.

Specially since they have their annual Herogasm thing every year and things probably get damaged lol I just assumed thats why it was made to look like a regular fight and after Soldier Boys blast the house was still standing 🤷
Hi Nikki/Steven, this is in my opinion the best episode so far, sheer madness, the battle near the end was great! This show continues to up the level of craziness each season.😳
Of all the reactioners on RUclips, THIS was the one I was looking forward to the most - Nikki in particular. But it wasn't as hilarious as I was anticipating...but then again...I guess it would be fair to assume that all her crackups would be on the cutting room floor along with all the scenes you couldn't show. This was my favorite episode of the Boys so far - of ALL three seasons - and surprisingly not even for the orgy in the background. I loved all the acting and character building; I actually found myself feeling bad for A-Train (still hate him, but his apology to Hughie you could feel the sincerity in his delivery - something we NEVER thought we'd get from this show.) And that fight between Homelander, Soldier Boy, Butcher and Hughie - oh my God - we have been waiting so long for Homelander to get his ass kicked. It felt like that scene in Infinity War where they almost got the glove off Thanos before Starlord screwed it up. Never thought I'd see Homelander run away from a fight... and that bruise on his face afterward was just icing on that cake. SO GOOD! Can't wait to see what's next!
Holy sh*t this episode felt like a season finale to me. A-Train seemingly reaching his breaking point A Soldier Boy/Homelander 1v1 A Soldier Boy/Homelander/Butcher handicap match Starlight going rouge We even got “Herogasm” which appears to be the Wrestlemania of Peni as far as this show goes lol So many things happened in this episode that I did not expect to happen at this point in the season. Annies tracking chip was cut out when she first left vought tower to help the boys somewhere in season 1, but maybe shes gotten a new one since then, i hope not for her sake
I love how each supe’s powers are a direct correlation to their personality. Hughie wanted to run away in times of stress, now he gets to runs away. We got a reference earlier to Butcher being the same as Homelander. Now they seemingly have the same powers. Butcher probably can fly, he just hasn’t practiced like his son. Kimiko was exactly the same person without her powers. Also love the Emmitt Till reference re A Train killing Bluehawk. Will Bliehack’s mom demand an open casket at the funeral? That’s probably a step too far.
I wonder about the music triggering Soldier Boy. The odds of that specific Russian folksy music playing within hearing vicinity of Soldier Boy seems too coincidental, and I think it's unlikely that people would listen to it outside of Russia. I think someone is controlling Soldier Boy from the shadows that we don't know about yet, maybe Stan Edgar, the CIA or the Russians? or maybe even another supe? I also wonder where Black Noir's loyalty lies, we don't seem to know much about him so far other than he used to be in Soldier Boy's group.
@@Dimassaputra14 right. LS is Russian. Also, I've heard Russian music in Chicago. I was assuming it was a Russian restaurant in that building that SB blasted. The news mentione sonething about a restaurant there.
Such an incredible episode I thought it was the season finale! Loved your intro with all the stuff you were hoping to see between Homelander, Butcher, and Soldier Boy and seeing it pay of THIS EPISODE! I'm hoping that Kimiko is slowly regaining her powers, because I'm not sure how she was able to fight like that and survive. Nina's gotta get hers... But your reaction to the whole fight was like mine. So intense and visceral. I think A-Train may be dead... And Annie continues to be my favorite good supe. The fall out is gonna be off the chain!
TEpisode 6 is marvelous. I though that Ep 4 was great but this goes way beyond how good is Kripke's imagination and what is possible to film. I can not wait for Season 2 of Invincible.
This is probs the first time homelander has felt pain too … no one’s been close surely his whole life , he did very well if u think about it , shows he has heart and can take heat
Yeah, but no. Homelander cannot just go full maniac mode now, because Soldier Boy is out there and he almost had Homelander with Hughie and Butcher. If Homelander goes against America now, he goes against Soldier Boy+Hughie+Butcher+America and this is a fight he's not gonna win. And Homelander cosplaying Gollum was a nice touch, too.
the scariest thing about the whole situation was when MM told soldier boy you killed my family and he asked "which one?" things had already gone sideways long before homelander....and still they keep going...seriously, what was MM supposed to do? that was a suicide mission...
I thought Nikki would of been cheering Homelander getting his ass handed to him, I know that for the first time since the series began I felt relief... That we could finally take this psycho down. It probably won't happen this season considering there's two episodes left and Soldier Boy will mostly die soon but in the fourth season which has been green lit already, I'm sure Homelander will be fully psychopathic and the Boys will finally end him.
The actor that plays homelander he deserves an Emmy nomination or an emmy because he is very good I would love to see him in the MCU playing a villain or a hero I love that Green Goblin seen that he did
They took out her tracker in season 1 guys she was never gonna be tracked down by Homelander. Also as the later episodes showed this was not the tipping point and it isn't make him not care and kill everybody.
Homelander kooking in the mirror at the end was a HUGE blow to his own ego. Imagine being the most powerful invulnerable being on earth your entire life then looking in the mirror and seeing a bruise on your face like that. He’s literally facing death and his own mortality for the first time.
"When we were kids.. Alone in the bad room. I got us through it, right? Don't I always?" Homelander has D.I.D.? This scene is the only part that made me feel sorry for him.
Since the showrunners keep borrowing many storylines from the comics, I wouldn’t be surprised if this was a recreation of that scene where Homelander talks to himself in a bathroom mirror - then again, all the symptoms seem to be in check, so your guess is as good as mine
Yes, i totally believe it. Another clue is that in the Diabolical episode, which is canon, that Homelander's childhood was awful and he blackout during a mission because of stress, so is highly probable.
I really have felt bad for Starlight from season 1 all she wanted to do was just be a hero to help him protect people and it is when she joined the seven that's when all of that solar came crashing down and look what we've gone to now no she is playing a dangerous game right now she is Public Enemy Number One on the 7th and on homelander and there is no telling what is going to come from this but at this point that since she has nothing to lose
At the end Homelander was looking in the mirror again because he had bruises and was no longer confident in his ability to beat anyone. He's very close to finally losing it
Homelander held is own against three 💯💪🏿 obviously they can’t even take him without I’m flying and moving fast but they showed they hand by letting homelander know they got powers so I’m sure he bout to come up with a plot
I believe starlight had her tracker cut out of her neck so they wouldn't be able to find where she was.Dont know if that was put back in after she was exonerated from being a mole / fugitive . . I guess if he really wanted to find her he would just go after her mother.
I thought about it, and maybe the damage was more contained because that building was specifically designed with supes in mind. I'm thinking back to when black noir straight up tossed starlight through a wall in season 1. So if that building isn't reinforced considering it will be housing a bunch of sex/drugged up supes.
This was by far the best hour of tv in forever! I havent been this hyped since battle of the bastards! Butcher, Soldier boy and Hughie Vs Homelander!!! AGHHHHH!!! Cant wait for the next one. Also you guys should watch Ms Marvel, its so good!
It’s been awhile but I feel like you guys forgot the first season. Starlights tracking chip was removed. Probably won’t stop Homelander from finding her anyway though…

I think love sausage played that music in the mansion
@@Dimassaputra14 right. LS is Russian. Also, I've heard Russian music in Chicago. I was assuming it was a Russian restaurant in that building that SB blasted. The news mentione sonething about a restaurant there.
It's certainly an interesting concept. Kinda like how Jacob does it to the main character in far cry 5 with the only you song
Black noirs loyalty is to Stan. There’s a theory that Stan and black noir are brothers
Nikki is so proud of herself for all the innuendos in this one 🤣
Such an incredible episode I thought it was the season finale! Loved your intro with all the stuff you were hoping to see between Homelander, Butcher, and Soldier Boy and seeing it pay of THIS EPISODE! I'm hoping that Kimiko is slowly regaining her powers, because I'm not sure how she was able to fight like that and survive. Nina's gotta get hers... But your reaction to the whole fight was like mine. So intense and visceral. I think A-Train may be dead... And Annie continues to be my favorite good supe. The fall out is gonna be off the chain!
That was one of the best most satisfying fight scenes I've ever seen. 25:33
TEpisode 6 is marvelous. I though that Ep 4 was great but this goes way beyond how good is Kripke's imagination and what is possible to film. I can not wait for Season 2 of Invincible.
Packed so much into an episode. It's so fkcung amazing. Probably the best episode of a Superhero series hands down with how much they did. Bravo.
This is probs the first time homelander has felt pain too … no one’s been close surely his whole life , he did very well if u think about it , shows he has heart and can take heat
3 vs 1.. He could have taken soldier boy alone.
13:05 "I feel like the Deep is gonna get F*CKED".....well, funny story there...
This is possibly my favourite episode, it had everything!!! lol
10:12 “uhh thank you?” was such an underrated funny line
I thought Nikki would of been cheering Homelander getting his ass handed to him, I know that for the first time since the series began I felt relief... That we could finally take this psycho down. It probably won't happen this season considering there's two episodes left and Soldier Boy will mostly die soon but in the fourth season which has been green lit already, I'm sure Homelander will be fully psychopathic and the Boys will finally end him.
Let's just say that we now know that A-Train is a Mortal Kombat fan.
At 21:29 "...what is that?" A cameo by Peter North! 🤣🤣🤣
love it, butchers smile when he was fighting homelander was epic, and btw i love your reaction videos
The actor that plays homelander he deserves an Emmy nomination or an emmy because he is very good I would love to see him in the MCU playing a villain or a hero I love that Green Goblin seen that he did
13:04 "I feel like The Deep is gonna get fuuuked."
Uhhh, yeah. Literally
I can't help wondering how long the laugh break stalled the table-read when Erin Moriarty first read "Nom nom nom nom nom nom nom" out loud.
Love how y'all noticed the sly Green Goblin Willem Defoe reference in with that mirror scene lmao
and amidst the carnage the deep manages to get a win by finally saving an animal to completion
10:34😂😂😂😂 hade me fucking rolling bro💀💀💀💀😂😂 “wrapped her up like a fucing Christmas turkey”😂😂🤣🤣🤣
Steven said at the start Start the Deep is gonna get fcked 🤣you nailed it
This episode was funny with the mirror scene.
It reminds me when Anthony starr was on a show in new Zealand where he played twins
"When we were kids.. Alone in the bad room. I got us through it, right? Don't I always?"
Homelander has D.I.D.? This scene is the only part that made me feel sorry for him.
Since the showrunners keep borrowing many storylines from the comics, I wouldn’t be surprised if this was a recreation of that scene where Homelander talks to himself in a bathroom mirror - then again, all the symptoms seem to be in check, so your guess is as good as mine
Yes, i totally believe it.
Another clue is that in the Diabolical episode, which is canon, that Homelander's childhood was awful and he blackout during a mission because of stress, so is highly probable.
13:05 Well... You weren't wrong lol
Quickest edit away from the best "that's what she said" joke in the last ten years. Bravo Nikki
That Acting from Antony Starr looking in the mirror was just wow! If you haven't seen his show Banshee it's a must watch!
I think you mean Antony Starr 😅
@@shivermetimbers6128 lmfao omg yes I 100% do! I didn’t even catch that I was so excited writing it I didn’t even check 🤣 - just edited it lol
Ashley is a great character. She’s really grown on me lol
I actually did not like her at all until the last few episodes. Lol
@@undeaditachi3494 same lol
It was much fun watching your reactions and discussion, you both be safe :)
They already took out Starlight's tracker last season. Frenchie had to use that electric saw to cut into her shoulder to take it out.
Hughie teleports. He does not run fast. He even says it himself
loved this episode. so many highlights.
Hughie's power isn't superspeed. He's got Nightcrawler powers. He teleports.
Soldier Boy bursting in rage each time he hears Russian "chanson" anywhere in town is pretty much my reaction to this kind of music.
"I feel like Deep is gonna get f*cked" Wellllllllll.....
U guys are in for a treat next episode, the ending is fucking insane!!!
At the end Homelander was looking in the mirror again because he had bruises and was no longer confident in his ability to beat anyone. He's very close to finally losing it
@29:53 Nikki mouthed "Right?" at the same time Steve said it, kinda tripped me out a second lmao
Homelander held is own against three 💯💪🏿 obviously they can’t even take him without I’m flying and moving fast but they showed they hand by letting homelander know they got powers so I’m sure he bout to come up with a plot
If something happens to Frenchy or Kamiko I’m throwing hands.
Easily the best episode in the season imo, great reaction guys!
"I feel like the Deep is gonna get f***ed."
Yeah, but probably not in the way you were expecting.
😬
Homelander is like Joffrey with powers and Soldier Boy is like Johnny Lawrence with powers. Eagle Fang all day!
Soldier Boy is now confirmed to be worse than Johnny.
