He's always had a seriously under-rated voice! It's one of the most beautiful voices I've ever heard always filled with emotion (not to mention quite the range he's got there!)
I've never heard a voice like John Lennons voice it's a very magical voice and I don't think there will be another voice like John Lennons unique voice. I love his voice and his guitar playing and his personality and looks and cussing ability Most of all I love how he stands up for his rights and I will always love the Beatles
John had an unusual voice that couldn't be classified in a basic range. It was very unique and as time went on he found ways to do things you wouldn't ever expected just some albums earlier. There's this scream he does at the end of Don't Let Me Down, it's phenomenal.
He had a high pitched powerful VERSATILE voice that could sing "Twist & Shout" & then sing "In My Life". Even when he sang in unison with Paul, his voice stood out at least a little more.
I could listen to those isolated vocals all day!!! John Lennon is one of the best vocalists and my favourite lyricist of all time!!! PEACE AND LOVE AND REST IN PEACE TO JOHN LENNON!!!😃👍☮️❤️
La voz de John es la mejor de los Beatles porqué es la que más expresa, puedes sentir todo lo que siente al escuchar su voz. Hablando tecnicamente la mejor voz sería de Paul, pero John expresa más, es más artístico que un músico técnico.
Does anybody notice how the timbre of his voice gradually changes. A thought: smoking (and later other things), no fold-back speakers, constant touring and lack of a consistent sleep pattern

My hero, is their own way to sing rock and roll that change industry on music. If You Heard another artist contemporary to him, including Elvis their idol, John appears with this scouse from north England and the world was his.
Well, for most of the later songs in this selection, his voice was heavily manipulated in the studio. So this doesn't give the right picture of it's evolution. But cool concept, an enjoyable watch.
John's voice was full in the earlier years. But as the years of fame passed, it sounded like his sinuses became packed and they had to use recording tricks to make it sound less reedy.
In the earlier years they would double track his vocals as he didn't like the sound of his own singing voice, without the double track it sounds more thin

Best singer in the Beatles and one of the best singers in rock history
Paul had a way better voice on a technical level, but John’s was great in its own way.
Incredible voice, the sound he generates, loss, hurt, regret, not to mention the faster ones.
The voice of john is very underrated, Is one of the best singers of the history for me
He is a really good singer

He had an incredible voice. He was so expressive.

The girl vocals give me goosebumps😭
Everybody contributed in they're own way. John was the anchor.
His voices became thinner than early days. I like his early vocals.
Of course he was secluded at the Dakota for 5 years thanks to Yoko, singing is like playing a brass instrument you have to practice every day
Nobody could come close to John Lennon’s vocals particularly anything he did between 21-26 yrs old
Between 27-34 and at 40 as well.

IMO... Lennon had best rock n roll vocals of em all. With Fogerty in #2 and Cobain in #3 spot. Just my opinion and subject to change tomorrow
Paul had better rock roll voice you can see it in down let me down in the end ov this wideo as a second vocal

Let It Be should be placed before Abbey Road. All of it was recorded on January-first half of '69 (and the cover photos are from the same era).
