    Surely there is a better way to get the bails in and moved around. Struggle bus is real when doing that chore! Cows are looking very nice. Good work👍

    Nice to see Abi helping out at Back My Place, and it brings a level of sophistication to the video and keeps you in line Josh 😂. I would hold on to your spacer plate Josh, as you need a minimum to 5mm between the guard plate and tow ball, but it all depends on the make of hitch on the trailers you use.

      @BackMyPlace  4 месяца назад +1

      Haha thanks Fraser! I have the spacer in the truck so its there in case we need it!

    Good video Josh and Abi. No advice on feed, but defo should have put the spacer on before the towbar. Guard looks smart though 👍🏻👌🏻

    I’d use a mix ration… ( Jim peet stock blend or Big boy mix) or like wise mix to your area / local feed company..

    Hi Josh and Abi back my place looking good cow's trying to help with the bails 😅. The back plate looks really good many years ago I made one for my pickup out of a tin did OK you couldn't buy back plates like yours then. I think you should have put the spacer plate on before the ball hitch though anyway you will find out soon enough 😊 I like Abi input when fixing it can you not wipe it 😅 I had helpers like that o and was my car while your at it. Great stuff made me laugh reminds me of my younger days. Take care all the best Dr Phil as well. 😊

    Should you not be using straw as bedding? 🤔. Using hay seems to be a waste.

    • @BackMyPlace
      @BackMyPlace  4 месяца назад +1

      We do for some of the youngstock. Hay is cheaper than buying straw though and does the same job!
