For those of you who would find it helpful, here are two lists that detail how many enemies in the True Final Millennium Tower have each weakness: Total Weaknesses: Electric: 17 Ice: 12 Fire: 6 Blade: 10 Blunt: 6 Bullet: 1 One Weakness: Electric: 7 (2 are bosses) Ice: 3 (1 is a boss) Fire: 2 (1 is a boss) Blade: 0 Blunt: 1 Bullet: 0 The first list is how many enemies have each weakness in total and the second list is how many enemies have said weakness as their only weakness. The purpose of these lists are to demonstrate which types of damage are most necessary to have on your party in order to exploit the weaknesses of the enemies in the True Tower. The second list is arguably more useful as it informs us that there is this number of enemies who only take extra damage from these single types of damage. Notice how on the second list, the top categories are elemental magic types and they cover all of the bosses, except for Amon of course. Thus is the reason that I recommend in the video to have a magic skill of every type on every active party member.
It's ridiculous how hard this is in comparison to the rest of the game. I just don't want to waste more time figuring out what to do. Thanks for this man.

Finished this game a few months ago. Go in every now and then to grind for this tower. Am at level 99 with main jobs at 99 and a few other jobs at 30 plus. Think I’m getting close to doing this.
Hey I know this vid is a bit old but just wanted to say you helped me beat the tower first try! I ran a slightly different comp with weaker gear, but focusing on the weaknesses and specifically the recommended order of beating the enemies really helped. Thanks!

And yes, My 240 hours of gameplay where so much fun (besides the immense amount of grinding for the final true tower), I spent hours exploring the cities, taking pictures, playing mini games, and I feel there's more left to do even after completing the achievements... I started playing Yakuza 0 to fill the void but it doesn't click the same, Like a Dragon is one of my favorite games ever and I look forward for new titles

@@Skystu really anything I trophy hunt so I move from game to game quite fast but if I were you I'd choose some 30-50 hr games you could get more content done that way. Some of the games I do have lined up are hades, ghost wire Tokyo, assasins creed rogue just to name a few but if you like the Yakuza's like a dragon ishin is coming out super soon and that would be a great game I'm probably gonna pick that up too

Thank you. I managed to complete it on my first try. I had no ice skills, and took Joon-gi Han, Saeko and switched between Zhao and Adachi. Knowing their weaknesses and especially knowing that I needed to face all 4 at the end really helped. I was panicking thinking I was gonna bottle it.

This was an excellent guide for this. Some additional tips that you didn't cover. - It is PARAMOUNT that Ichiban doesn't die. I failed this multiple times because the game took ichiban from full health + peerless resolve to dead without a chance to respond. If you follow this build/setup, Ichi should only be your heal. If there aren't needed heals. He should guard. Anyone else dying is unfortunate, but Ichi dying is a huge loss of time. - My Ichi was VERY slow as well, only getting 1 or 2 turns the whole fight most of the time. Keeping his health topped up with items/a different healer is not a bad idea. - For the Amon fight. DO NOT use All enemy attacks. I failed there my first try because I got all the guards and Amon low at the same time, they all triggered their ultimates at the same time, and I wiped. Solo target Amon, than Majima, then Saejima, then finally Kiryu. Again, it's slow, but it will keep you alive, and that's what matters. - Weaknesses are useful, but not a be all and end all. As an example, I was fighting in Fight 15 and found that the paralysis prongs (when they hit) did more dmg than ice spreader, despite not being the weakness. Just food for thought. Think about what you're doing, and you should be okay.
Great and very straightforward guide. Did this at launch on PC but decided to prep a second platinum playthrough on PS5 before Infinite Wealth drops. After tons of grinding in the kamurocho sewers I finally cleared this for the second time. My only other suggestion would be to consider switching out Joon-Gi Han for an Idol Saeko for the final battle until you widdle down the full boss party, eliminate Amon and Majima, and can bring back out the water casting for Kiryu and Saejima. The extra healing and debuffs from the idol really helps. I only died once fighting Amon on my final run. Idol made a world of a difference for survivability. Keeping Ichiban at full health takes a lot of pressure off and keeps the powerful group casts and buffs from Ichiban a flowin.
I have a question for you. I'm actually doing the same thing for the same reason but I'm playing the game on Legend. Would you suggest lowering the difficulty to Normal and just playing until I unlock the Kamaroucho dungeon? I was considering doing that because Majima and Saejima wiped the floor with me and I know Kiryu isn't gonna be much easier.

Another helpful video guide as always, however I would like to share a little useful note on fight 1: You can skip it by equipping hariti's amulet before entering the tower or by running away midfight. Beat it a couple of days ago. I realized that training male characters - especially Han and Nanba - as foremen and/or enforcers apart is all but mandatory to supplement HP. In the same context, training Saeko as a night queen is a plus. At the last battle, I realized that Kiryu does nothing but continues passing his turn if: his HP is left 1/4 but yet switched to the Dragon of Dojima style; at the same time Amon is on the verge of KO and already summoned the satelite. In that case we should defeat Amon first and then wait till Kiryu becomes active again.
On the other hand, Noblesse Oblige can obliterate Amon when we run with both girls as fully trained matriarchs with EX-EX blades. They can sometimes charge as much as 5000-6000 damage in a single turn, given that each hits Amon with at least 2 bullets and a piece of Miracle Kimchi is available for accelerating Saeko. It is optional to equip them with diabolic wristbands if we take the strategy of rushing in the first half and taking them off for a while till Amon casts Malicious Grin and Orbital Laser. I instead used Adachi with 70% electric resistance (Enforcer's EX Weapon + Aberrant Jacket + Thunder God's Amulet) simply as a lightning rod.

I finished all the fights with the males. When he calls his buddys i still focus on amon and beat him first it was better for me this way and more easy, cause i tried your method but died. So guys dont stress i havent even maxed all my weapons. Use the kimchis and the guardian water it helps alot. Thank you so much fo the video it was very helpful

Good guide! Helped me get my platinum! One piece I'd like to add is something I myself noticed. There is a sweet spot with Amon after he calls the spirits in he has a little more threshold before he does his grin which seems to be when he starts the status ailments and orbital strikes. I avoided hitting him and focused on the spirits one at a time and I found it made it a little more manageable. Hope that helps someone

Hey! Yeah the power leveling in this game can be a grind. Just to make sure you are doing it optimally though, have you watched my video on the Best XP Farming Method (ruclips.net/video/fYKA4U4AaeI/видео.html)? As far as I am aware, that is the fastest way to farm. It is still time consuming, but it's the best option there is. If you have anymore questions, just let me know! Best wishes! ❤
Equip the job exp enhancing accessories (if you have 2 use both, if you have 1 use it alongside the yakuza training armor or tranquil tenugui) and spam the kamurocho dungeon’s invested vagabonds. One invested vagabond you beat will give you 400k job exp, and with the job exp enhance accessories it can go up to 1.5x (if you only have 1) or 2x (if you have 2) so that’s 600k-800k job exp per vagabond. That will accelerate your farming process. As for character levels, you can ignore as building up several job levels will eventually maxed out your character levels.

Honestly, I think if you're gonna run either of the ladies (can't decide who right now), I'd recommend abusing Trickster's Top Hat. The debuff is random, sure, but being able to apply any of the damaging debuffs is worth it. I'd probably run Saeko as Idol and spam Top Hat until someone needs a heal. Let Ichiban buff the team. Let the Idol heal and damage debuff the enemies. Edit: I'd also add that using Saeko as an Idol is more MP efficient in the long run. A full revive with Saeko only costs 50 MP while using Ichiban's Soul Tether and Hero's Embrace costs 90. Plus, Saeko can recover MP. So using debuffs like Paralysis, Drunk and Charm are great ways for her to get free hits in to restore MP instead of having to use items. Also also also, it's probably a given but using multiple copies of the mouthguards would be great. You could almost restore more MP than you actually use.
I like your ideas and I have run Saeko as a debuffing healer before. Definitely can be a strong build, however, since this guide was for the True Tower, and I wanted it to be generalized, I didn't want to recommend applying debuffs because, if I remember correctly (have not played the game in a long time), the bosses are all immune and sometimes the effects will just miss even on normal enemies. Furthermore, Trickster's Top Hat being random is interesting, but considering that some status effects are way stronger than others and that there are ways to apply those specific statuses, wouldn't it be better to apply those stronger ones specifically? @@Skystu yeah for bosses, I wouldn't recommend using TTH because they're immune to everything except Poison. I'm not sure about Drunk but I know for sure the bigger bosses can be poisoned. But relying on TTH to get a consistent poison prock.... don't recommend. I'd still recommend Saeko or Eri as a healer over Ichiban for the MP restoration alone. Especially during the Kiryu fight, as he won't attack the female party members. But with the basic mobs throughout the tower, using party members that can consistently restore their MP cuts down on how many items you have to use to do so. But this is all coming from someone who hasn't even beaten the tower yet, so take my recommendations with a grain of salt.

Thanks for taking the time to show in detail how to defeat the true tower. I have seen the recent announcement trailers but not much more of Ishin since I want to prevent spoilers. From what I see it should be similar to the other yakuza games with different fighting stances. I could be wrong but I don't think it will have any dungeons/tower of sorts.

I managed to reach Tendo and the first thing this dude does before I can do anything is attack ichiban twice in a row, killing me instantly despite perfect block..I litetally couldn't do anything. I am gonna take the stone with me that revives me once, just for this POS..
Update: took a two month break and looked up this guide right before tendo , then I saw my own comment again and it reminded me to equip the item just in time. It came to use against Amon helping me to defeat them on my first try. Platin done! :)

@@reinokuma Getting to rank 30 is good for getting the universal skills, but the majority of the stat boosts are after rank 30 so I would recommend raising a few jobs to 99 and since it sounds like HP and Defense are your problems; you should prioritize jobs that give those stats like Detective (Adachi only), Enforcer, Foreman (gives HP not Defense), etc. Take note that it is possible to beat the True Tower without any Jobs at max rank, but doing so makes the whole experience more stressful than it needs to be. As to your question, yes it is definitely possible to beat the tower with only one max job per character, but the more grinding you do the easier it will be! Most people that I know that have beaten the True Tower had more than one max job per character, but I believe when I first beat the True Tower I only had one max job per character and some ranks in other jobs on each character. Honestly, as long as you follow the strategy I detail in this video, then yes you could beat the True Tower without even reaching max level or rank on your characters; it just really helps to do so as the battles will go faster and the whole process will be less stressful. If you want to know the best method to farming XP in the game you should check out my XP Farm Guide ( ruclips.net/video/fYKA4U4AaeI/видео.html ) and if you want to potentially double the amount that you are farming you should check out my video on All of the XP and Job XP Boosters ( ruclips.net/video/uQVsNqzCTL0/видео.html ). However, there is a different method to increase your stats besides increasing your level and job ranks and in fact, this method is the only way to reach max stats. Increasing your level and job ranks will only get your characters to around 2,000 HP, but the Max HP is 9,999; and this other method allows you to get to 9,999 HP which means that it will provide you more of a stat increase in total. This other method is consuming stat boosting drinks which can be farmed from the Sotenbori Looting Circuit which I detail in my Stat and Personality Maxing Guide ( ruclips.net/video/lkynE8CHbKA/видео.html ). How do i max out their HP like this ? The fight itself isn’t that hard whats annoying is the grind omg the grid is just too much making me thinking of just leaving the game in general it’s just repetitive and time consuming

However, here is a quick explanation: First you need to obtain the Bulletproof Shield which can be found in a Silver Safe outside of the Geomijul HQ or you can purchase it from the Gambling Hall for 500 wooden tags; next you need to go to the Romance Workshop and upgrade the Bulletproof shield all the way up to the Special Ops Riot Shield which will require the Absolute Shield as one of the materials and the Absolute Shield can be obtained by purchasing it from Le Marche for 10,000,000 Yen or from the Shogi Shop for 150,000 Points. Hello! Even with every job at rank 99 the True Tower is still dangerous and the tide of battle can change in a moment, but as long as you play smart then yes; reaching rank 99 on every job is overkill. Best wishes!
I will not grind multiple jobs on multiple character just to have that forcast electric attack here is what I am gonna do grind until I am level 99 currently all of them are at 82 and job level in mid 60s or 70s i don't remember once I get to 99 level i will try this only once if it works good if not I delete the game and give up on this platinum btw this is the only trophy i need for plat

Finished this game a few months ago. Go in every now and then to grind for this tower. Am at level 99 with main jobs at 99 and a few other jobs at 30 plus.

And yes, My 240 hours of gameplay where so much fun (besides the immense amount of grinding for the final true tower), I spent hours exploring the cities, taking pictures, playing mini games, and I feel there's more left to do even after completing the achievements... I started playing Yakuza 0 to fill the void but it doesn't click the same, Like a Dragon is one of my favorite games ever and I look forward for new titles

@@Skystu really anything I trophy hunt so I move from game to game quite fast but if I were you I'd choose some 30-50 hr games you could get more content done that way. Some of the games I do have lined up are hades, ghost wire Tokyo, assasins creed rogue just to name a few but if you like the Yakuza's like a dragon ishin is coming out super soon and that would be a great game I'm probably gonna pick that up too

Thank you. I managed to complete it on my first try. I had no ice skills, and took Joon-gi Han, Saeko and switched between Zhao and Adachi. Knowing their weaknesses and especially knowing that I needed to face all 4 at the end really helped. I was panicking thinking I was gonna bottle it.

This was an excellent guide for this.
Some additional tips that you didn't cover.
- It is PARAMOUNT that Ichiban doesn't die. I failed this multiple times because the game took ichiban from full health + peerless resolve to dead without a chance to respond. If you follow this build/setup, Ichi should only be your heal. If there aren't needed heals. He should guard. Anyone else dying is unfortunate, but Ichi dying is a huge loss of time.
- My Ichi was VERY slow as well, only getting 1 or 2 turns the whole fight most of the time. Keeping his health topped up with items/a different healer is not a bad idea.
- For the Amon fight. DO NOT use All enemy attacks. I failed there my first try because I got all the guards and Amon low at the same time, they all triggered their ultimates at the same time, and I wiped. Solo target Amon, than Majima, then Saejima, then finally Kiryu. Again, it's slow, but it will keep you alive, and that's what matters.
- Weaknesses are useful, but not a be all and end all. As an example, I was fighting in Fight 15 and found that the paralysis prongs (when they hit) did more dmg than ice spreader, despite not being the weakness. Just food for thought. Think about what you're doing, and you should be okay.
Great and very straightforward guide. Did this at launch on PC but decided to prep a second platinum playthrough on PS5 before Infinite Wealth drops. After tons of grinding in the kamurocho sewers I finally cleared this for the second time. My only other suggestion would be to consider switching out Joon-Gi Han for an Idol Saeko for the final battle until you widdle down the full boss party, eliminate Amon and Majima, and can bring back out the water casting for Kiryu and Saejima. The extra healing and debuffs from the idol really helps. I only died once fighting Amon on my final run. Idol made a world of a difference for survivability. Keeping Ichiban at full health takes a lot of pressure off and keeps the powerful group casts and buffs from Ichiban a flowin.
I have a question for you. I'm actually doing the same thing for the same reason but I'm playing the game on Legend.
Would you suggest lowering the difficulty to Normal and just playing until I unlock the Kamaroucho dungeon? I was considering doing that because Majima and Saejima wiped the floor with me and I know Kiryu isn't gonna be much easier.

Another helpful video guide as always, however I would like to share a little useful note on fight 1: You can skip it by equipping hariti's amulet before entering the tower or by running away midfight.

Beat it a couple of days ago. I realized that training male characters - especially Han and Nanba - as foremen and/or enforcers apart is all but mandatory to supplement HP. In the same context, training Saeko as a night queen is a plus. At the last battle, I realized that Kiryu does nothing but continues passing his turn if: his HP is left 1/4 but yet switched to the Dragon of Dojima style; at the same time Amon is on the verge of KO and already summoned the satelite. In that case we should defeat Amon first and then wait till Kiryu becomes active again.
On the other hand, Noblesse Oblige can obliterate Amon when we run with both girls as fully trained matriarchs with EX-EX blades. They can sometimes charge as much as 5000-6000 damage in a single turn, given that each hits Amon with at least 2 bullets and a piece of Miracle Kimchi is available for accelerating Saeko. It is optional to equip them with diabolic wristbands if we take the strategy of rushing in the first half and taking them off for a while till Amon casts Malicious Grin and Orbital Laser. I instead used Adachi with 70% electric resistance (Enforcer's EX Weapon + Aberrant Jacket + Thunder God's Amulet) simply as a lightning rod.

Definitely an accomplishment to beat the True Tower! Nice Adachi build! I never much intentionally used the elemental resistance gear, but it can absolutely be useful if you know an enemy attacks with a particular element.

I finished all the fights with the males. When he calls his buddys i still focus on amon and beat him first it was better for me this way and more easy, cause i tried your method but died. Good guide! Helped me get my platinum! One piece I'd like to add is something I myself noticed. There is a sweet spot with Amon after he calls the spirits in he has a little more threshold before he does his grin which seems to be when he starts the status ailments and orbital strikes. I avoided hitting him and focused on the spirits one at a time and I found it made it a little more manageable. Hope that helps someone

Hey! Yeah the power leveling in this game can be a grind. Just to make sure you are doing it optimally though, have you watched my video on the Best XP Farming Method (ruclips.net/video/fYKA4U4AaeI/видео.html)? As far as I am aware, that is the fastest way to farm. It is still time consuming, but it's the best option there is.

Equip the job exp enhancing accessories (if you have 2 use both, if you have 1 use it alongside the yakuza training armor or tranquil tenugui) and spam the kamurocho dungeon’s invested vagabonds. One invested vagabond you beat will give you 400k job exp, and with the job exp enhance accessories it can go up to 1.5x (if you only have 1) or 2x (if you have 2) so that’s 600k-800k job exp per vagabond. That will accelerate your farming process. As for character levels, you can ignore as building up several job levels will eventually maxed out your character levels.

Honestly, I think if you're gonna run either of the ladies (can't decide who right now), I'd recommend abusing Trickster's Top Hat.
The debuff is random, sure, but being able to apply any of the damaging debuffs is worth it.
I'd probably run Saeko as Idol and spam Top Hat until someone needs a heal. Let Ichiban buff the team. Let the Idol heal and damage debuff the enemies.
Edit: I'd also add that using Saeko as an Idol is more MP efficient in the long run. A full revive with Saeko only costs 50 MP while using Ichiban's Soul Tether and Hero's Embrace costs 90. Plus, Saeko can recover MP. So using debuffs like Paralysis, Drunk and Charm are great ways for her to get free hits in to restore MP instead of having to use items. Also also also, it's probably a given but using multiple copies of the mouthguards would be great. You could almost restore more MP than you actually use.
I like your ideas and I have run Saeko as a debuffing healer before. Definitely can be a strong build, however, since this guide was for the True Tower, and I wanted it to be generalized, I didn't want to recommend applying debuffs because, if I remember correctly (have not played the game in a long time), the bosses are all immune and sometimes the effects will just miss even on normal enemies.
Furthermore, Trickster's Top Hat being random is interesting, but considering that some status effects are way stronger than others and that there are ways to apply those specific statuses, wouldn't it be better to apply those stronger ones specifically?

@@Skystu yeah for bosses, I wouldn't recommend using TTH because they're immune to everything except Poison. I'm not sure about Drunk but I know for sure the bigger bosses can be poisoned. But relying on TTH to get a consistent poison prock.... don't recommend.
I'd still recommend Saeko or Eri as a healer over Ichiban for the MP restoration alone. Especially during the Kiryu fight, as he won't attack the female party members. But with the basic mobs throughout the tower, using party members that can consistently restore their MP cuts down on how many items you have to use to do so.
But this is all coming from someone who hasn't even beaten the tower yet, so take my recommendations with a grain of salt.

I have seen the recent announcement trailers but not much more of Ishin since I want to prevent spoilers. From what I see it should be similar to the other yakuza games with different fighting stances. I could be wrong but I don't think it will have any dungeons/tower of sorts.

I managed to reach Tendo and the first thing this dude does before I can do anything is attack ichiban twice in a row, killing me instantly despite perfect block..I litetally couldn't do anything. I am gonna take the stone with me that revives me once, just for this POS..
Update: took a two month break and looked up this guide right before tendo , then I saw my own comment again and it reminded me to equip the item just in time. It came to use against Amon helping me to defeat them on my first try. Platin done! :)

How many job ranks did you raise because I raised most to rank 30 just so I had the moves from each job carry over
@@reinokuma Getting to rank 30 is good for getting the universal skills, but the majority of the stat boosts are after rank 30 so I would recommend raising a few jobs to 99 and since it sounds like HP and Defense are your problems; you should prioritize jobs that give those stats like Detective (Adachi only), Enforcer, Foreman (gives HP not Defense), etc.
Take note that it is possible to beat the True Tower without any Jobs at max rank, but doing so makes the whole experience more stressful than it needs to be. I hope this helps!

As to your question, yes it is definitely possible to beat the tower with only one max job per character, but the more grinding you do the easier it will be! Most people that I know that have beaten the True Tower had more than one max job per character, but I believe when I first beat the True Tower I only had one max job per character and some ranks in other jobs on each character. Honestly, as long as you follow the strategy I detail in this video, then yes you could beat the True Tower without even reaching max level or rank on your characters; it just really helps to do so as the battles will go faster and the whole process will be less stressful.
If you want to know the best method to farming XP in the game you should check out my XP Farm Guide ( ruclips.net/video/fYKA4U4AaeI/видео.html ) and if you want to potentially double the amount that you are farming you should check out my video on All of the XP and Job XP Boosters ( ruclips.net/video/uQVsNqzCTL0/видео.html ).
However, there is a different method to increase your stats besides increasing your level and job ranks and in fact, this method is the only way to reach max stats. Increasing your level and job ranks will only get your characters to around 2,000 HP, but the Max HP is 9,999; and this other method allows you to get to 9,999 HP which means that it will provide you more of a stat increase in total. This other method is consuming stat boosting drinks which can be farmed from the Sotenbori Looting Circuit which I detail in my Stat and Personality Maxing Guide ( ruclips.net/video/lkynE8CHbKA/видео.html ).

How do i max out their HP like this ? The fight itself isn’t that hard whats annoying is the grind omg the grid is just too much making me thinking of just leaving the game in general it’s just repetitive and time consuming
Either level up enforcer and foreman for all the guys or you can use the item called dragons binding and it gives 150 extra hp

However, here is a quick explanation: First you need to obtain the Bulletproof Shield which can be found in a Silver Safe outside of the Geomijul HQ or you can purchase it from the Gambling Hall for 500 wooden tags; next you need to go to the Romance Workshop and upgrade the Bulletproof shield all the way up to the Special Ops Riot Shield which will require the Absolute Shield as one of the materials and the Absolute Shield can be obtained by purchasing it from Le Marche for 10,000,000 Yen or from the Shogi Shop for 150,000 Points. Hello! Even with every job at rank 99 the True Tower is still dangerous and the tide of battle can change in a moment, but as long as you play smart then yes; reaching rank 99 on every job is overkill.

I will not grind multiple jobs on multiple character just to have that forcast electric attack here is what I am gonna do grind until I am level 99 currently all of them are at 82 and job level in mid 60s or 70s i don't remember once I get to 99 level i will try this only once if it works good if not I delete the game and give up on this platinum btw this is the only trophy i need for plat
