This ed is darkest and most uncomfortable ed i have ever watched or heard. I remember it used to feel so creepy when it played after each ep ended in s2. And yet this ed is an absolute masterpiece with its music and drawings and all the foreshadowings.
@@BrazilianImperialist yeah, i can tolerate manga readers, but i dont tolerate spoilers. So if I hear the mourning manga reader on the other side of the room talking, you bet I'm curb stomping their face.
Man, it’s so cool looking back at this now, after everything that’s happened. Foreshadowing, when it’s done right, is awesome! I wonder if there was any more foreshadowing after the main foreshadow in this outro? I guess we’ll just have to wait and see! :D
Looking back, every intro and outro foreshadowed the ending. It was a not-so-subtle way of telling us: "Don't grow attached, a happy ending was never an option"
Looking back on this, I think this symbolizes not just the past, but also how history repeats itself. The titans invading shows Eldia’s usage of titans to win wars, but is complimentary with the fall of Shiganshina. The wall titans show how the wall was born, and also foreshadows the rumbling. The titans murdering people in a room shows the person near the window trying to save her baby, which also foreshadows the people working together to keep the baby alive during the rumbling while falling off the cliff. The last few seconds show a bird flying towards the sun (or possibly Armin’s explosion in the final episode) and the titans transforming back into humans, foreshadowing Eren’s death. The final picture shows an X over Ymir, which probably symbolizes the end of the titan curse. Why are people arguing about the rumbling and wall formation, it’s a nod to both.
My War and Yuugure no Tori are not the type of soundtrack you would want to listen again and again. Both of them are eerie and chaotic meant to pull you into the dark side of AOT world.
This was and still is my favourite ending even before there was any information about the rumbling or anything related,it portraits perfectly the energy of snk

fr there was just something so foreboding about it and the fact that the titans in the ed used to give me the uncanny valley
this ending is masterpiece
I agree, it was kind of a spoiler for us manga readers at that time but this ending always send chills down my spine.
Definitely the best ending for a season. Still get chills every time
@@professorcookie1744 Isayama did on purpose because of manga readers spoiling anime onlys

👌
It's absolutely amazing that an ending song from season 2 already foreshadowed the ENTIRE and future plot
But it was so well done that it explained everything without letting us know what we were seeing. That is how you do spoilers in an OP or ED
One of the most perfect anime ED ever, the visuals, the haunting yet hopeful music, I almost tear up everytime I watch it.
It sounds like the most horrifying fate is coming upon you, but it’s being celebrated by everyone around you, absolutely terrifying
Creepy but a Masterpiece.
Im still beyond suprised that they didnt realize that it foreshadowed the rumbling
no it wasn't. this ending scene foreshadowed the history of eldian people.
no one was aware when this came out since the spoilers that were shown here werent in the manga yet at that time
Bruh ofc
Its Litterally Season 2 ending
What do you expect ?
And how the fuck would they even have the slightest ideia?
This isn't foreshadowing the rumbling. It's showing the time when the Eldians were using the titans to destroy the other nations years ago

Best. AoT. Ending. Ever.
Seeing this ending for the first time is like taking a math test with questions that is unfamiliar and far from what you have studied.
0:54 Those images that pass in black and white are so mysterious, somewhat terrifying and so intriguing
This ending is so good and creepy
Masterpiece
I need more season of this masterpiece 😢
My God! Remember we all thought this show was about a kid trying to avenge his mother and kill all the titans?
when s3p2 ending and s4 came, i didnt even think it was that kind of anime now 😭😭
I unironically love this song
I dont know why, but this ed is really really suit the story of the series
They showed Ymir's daughters eating her corpse before that was even in the manga

Memories
Sup
This ending is the definition of "Memories from the future"
