The extra keys on the g915 are macro keys so in the logitech software u can set short cuts or key input so lets say u set the first macro to input letter a and it will so like that
I feel like the MX Keys key spacing is so odd, every time I type on one I make mistakes and I just can't get myself to like it, while I love how the G915 feels
I have the Mx Keys. Bought it last year together with Mx Master 3. Best combo. I started to search for wireless, mechanical, rgb, clicky, 2 devices usage in the same time keyboards and I found G915 and razer BlackWidow V3 Pro. I wanted to go with razer because usb c(Logitech, micro USB in this times??) and because RAZER has integration with Philips hue, but the battery is a joke. Logitech has better battery life and it's switching between devices better and faster. Really wanted the Philips hue integration, but you can't have all the features(sadly).
One would be happy to try any keyboard that can define "perfect" for them since both type of keyboards are still being advertised and reviewed as "great for typing". That's the reason why you have clicky switches for those who work and play at the same time. Which means the gaming keyboard G915 can still be used for productivity. I have the wired G815... I'd like to upgrade for wireless G915. However, I started working night shift so the non-illuminated special characters are starting to become an issue for me. I'd like to check reviews if the MX key can deliver the same quality and typing experience based on my G815 clicky experience. I am able to type very fast on G815.
I actually made the same switch, MX keys to G915. I too really liked how I could select different connections on the MX keys but I only used it every now and then. The biggest pet peeve that I have with the G915 is that it does not have the sensing feature that the MX keys has. I don't like how I have to hit a key first on my G915 to illuminate the keys. Otherwise, I love my G915. I got the linear too.
@@sengnickersontech yes but would you have a race between a child and an adult. No because the adult would always win and it would be unfair to put a child against something that will always beat them
@@NadersJJBA Believe or not, I'm returning the G915 and keeping the MX Keys :( I'm posting another video on the reasons soon - but it was because of the macro keys and the device switch, not necessarily the keys themselves. So a keyboard is more than just the mechanics of the keys, but also the layout and function.
I tried the MX Keys and ultimately ended up on the 815 which I love. I wanted the 915, but the 815 was $100 cheaper.
looks dope as hell!
I'm getting this👍

Duh
The G buttons are macros so you can make them however you want so you can basically switch them with any device

She switched before the MX mechanical
@@TheAikatsuFan I know, but for today is the best
@@dritterregenschirm2324 Well it’s already too late
Not for the people, who see my comment
okay i have it on my list to upgrade now 🤣 i will create a new video soon on it!
The G915 is better because it has print screen (driverless)
Its a gaming keyboard not an Office keyboard like the other one but keep up the good work

Cool, God bless.
I hope you pass your ACP Exam
The last one is not a gaming keyboard
G915 is noisy and obnoxious like every other mechanical keyboard.
U can’t compare a mechanical keyboard and a membrane one
Yeah mechanical wins every time 🤦🏻♂️

I know, but I like apples better than oranges. From a productivity standpoint, I wanted to compare and contrast :)
