I just watched this movie again. And the transformation from Tom Hanks character being such a mean SOB (Moscow) to the ending he's so quiet and humble and sad and yet still carries on. Very tear-jerking. Phenomenal acting; amazing music.
As I listen to this beautiful soft music I am lying in a bed filled with horrific pain and memories of my life … so strange how it calms my heart and helps me stand the raging pain ✨ Makes me remember back to my childhood, fun and sadness … My adult life, fun and sadness… except I didn’t expect my life to start “ slipping away “ … Evil Diseases come in to ROB me, No Answer when I ask why, so I will just keep listening to this “ Love Song” of LIFE, and like the soft waves and sinking sun, I pray that soon I will rest in the arms of Angels and be called to my Heavenly Home 👼🏻✨💫
I lost my dad earlier this year. I made a pendant which holds some of his ashes in it. The rest spread out in the ocean while it sparkled. This song really hits home. Like letting go but you are still trying to hold on as hard as you can. I listen to it every time I go to sleep and just think of all the laughs and times we've had together.
After listening to many movie musical scores I rate Thomas Newman the best composer followed by Alan Silvestri followed by Hans Zimmer and finally James Horner.
