- We couldn't round out our spring holiday video series without the Passover classic: Charoset! Justin will walk you through this quick and easy seder plate must-have while sharing the symbolic meaning behind the recipe.
A heads up: Charoset can be made up to 3 days in advance and stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator. If preparing in advance, add 1 teaspoon lemon juice to prevent apples from browning.

Hey guys! The reason why it tastes like communion wine is most likely because the first communion (or “last supper”) took place just during Passover (see John 13, Matt. 26, & Luke 22). So the first communion was done with the unleavened bread & wine of Passover. That’s why Passover & Easter are close together in terms of timing each year; because the events of the crucifixion and resurrection occurred right on the heals of Passover timing wise. Actually Jesus was crucified on the Friday and not the Saturday because the next day (Saturday) was the sabbath. Hope this helps! :)
charoset is one of my FAVORITE parts of the seder! Especially because my grandmother makes the best recipe! But i think that the best thing about charoset is that everyone has a slightly different recipe but it'll taste amazing no matter what proportions of ingredients you have
